    The Fountain signature cocktail.

Turning over a new leaf and eating more salads in 2024! Sorry about the bad pun (So fun). When it comes to salads, the Fountain is among my top go-to places. Their salads contain a variety of vegetables, are consistently very fresh and generous in portion to boot. I ordered a grilled chicken salad. It came with plenty of delicious chicken. I had a bit leftover to take home. I have some doctors' visits coming up so I'm trying to eat in moderation. I splurged by ordering the signature cocktail, The Fountain, consisting of gin, muddled orange and Prosecco. It was light, refreshing and delish. Thanks to Ginger, who truly knows the meaning of hospitality and always provides great service. My husband and I like to sit at the bar. Sometimes we get into conversations with other patrons, which can be fun. The Fountain is always clean. Ginger and her staff can be seen wiping down the countertops. The decor is attractive and comfortable. An awesome neighborhood eatery that's family-friendly.

The food at the Fountain is always consistent. The service is great and the vibe is that of a typical neighborhood bar with the mix of a pizza joint. I was introduced to the Fountain about 20 years ago when my older brother took me to get "the best pizza in Albany". I always liked their burgers but last time I just had a pasta dinner. It was spaghetti with marinara and it came with a salad and Italian bread. The star of the night was our drinks. Thanks for being there for a night out that doesn't break the bank and consistently tasty eats.

Ordered pickup through an online app. This is what I got. What the heck is it? This was supposed to be Ravioli Parmigiana. How did they have the nerve to wrap this up, put it in a bag and hand it to me??? I've ordered this dish before so I know how they usually prepare it. It was burnt & dried out. This is unacceptable!

Chicken Parmigiana was dry and overcooked

The chicken parmigiana was overcooked and dry! Sad I normally have no problems and get this all the time

It's been at least 4 years, maybe longer and the pizza was as good as we remembered!!! The inside has been redone to look a bit brighter, but still has that neighborhood feel. Spoke with one of the Owners and you can hear the pride in her voice as she talked about the renovations they did during COVID shutdown. Food that went to other tables looked great, but we were there for Pizza, and it did not disappoint! Good selection of beers on tap and wines, a nice cocktail list as well! Parking is a breeze as there is a lot in the back! Looking forward to our next visit!

Very good excellent sauce service was super fast ordered Togo for pickup. Very friendly atmosphere would recommend if your looking to try a great pizza pie.

Parking can be a little challenging depending on the time of day, but it's generally easy to access. I ordered the Italian sub, and it was delicious! Everything tasted fresh, was made to order, and the ingredients were well-balanced. The quality was definitely there. My only complaint is that after ordering what I believe was the regular-sized sub, I was still a little hungry. That said, would I recommend it? Absolutely. The food was tasty, fresh, and satisfying. Would I return? Definitely. The price point makes it more of an occasional treat for me rather than a regular lunch spot, but it's worth it when you're craving a quality sandwich. Rating: 4/5 Fresh ingredients, great flavor, convenient location--just be prepared for the prices and consider sizing up if you have a big appetite!

(Certainly a lucky neighborhood) It looks small from the street but once you walk in, it opens up to a sizable store. We were greeted by a friendly staff member, he took the time to describe their cheese selection and the other things going on in the shop. He then pivoted to giving us tons of help selecting the right cheese. We sampled a couple of things and then he dialed in three choices for us to buy. (With an assist from another customer that insisted that we would love the Delice de Bourgogne) Prices were reasonable enough for the quality. We added some gourmet crackers that were neutral enough to not overpower the cheese. The next day, we made the three cheeses the focus of our lunch. The Delice de Bourgogne was the star of the show, a creamy, earthy, and savory masterpiece. The two year aged Gouda and creamy blue cheese were delightful as well! First off I'm not sure what food people in these reviews are eating, because in my experience the Italian mix sub was very bland, the bread was dry, and the meat looked pale and weird. The woman helping me was friendly enough but made it a point to tell me how gas prices were fine at $4.10 per gallon as long as Trump was the president, which annoyed me because it gives an indication that details don't matter here. Given the taste of the $15 small sub I paid for it definitely tracks. Be your own critic, but for me it's the history of this place and not the food has people coming back. I won't be one of them.

It actually kept me from ordering my own burger this time, so I just snagged a bite of my partner's (which was excellent). **I have had the gluten free option before and it was good, but udi's isn't my favorite (doesn't have very clean ingredients).
