Okay. This place is small mom pop type corner store. But has so much to offer. We have been ordering pizza and salads from them, ever since COVID-19 calmed down a bit and people started ordering and picking up food. Their salad is always fresh and crisp. It seems like they just cut it up for you. Although the tomatoes are a mix, some fresh cut and juicy, some seemed bit squishy, but these guys still get a 5star because they really try to put all in your order I feel like. If you know my yelpments, you know I almost never give 4 or 4.5 or 5 lol. You gotta try these guys.

This little pizzeria and deli could very easily be missed driving along Route 4, which is located next door to Heim's Citgo in Defreestville. The place is very cramped inside with two tables for eating in and a small order counter. I decided to stop in here for lunch since my folks have been getting Route Four Pizzeria menus each month in the mail. They have pizza coupon deals in the menu, as well as specials such as 2 cheese slices & can of soda for $4.00 plus tax and the sandwich special, a deli sandwich, bag of chips, choice of salad (potato, macaroni, or pasta), and can of soda or bottled water for $6.00 plus tax. I stroll in here around 12:45PM and the place was steady, both tables occupied with office workers and several customers ordering takeout. There were a few slices on display. I ordered a Sausage Slice ($2 plus tax) and the Sandwich Special I got Chicken Salad with lettuce, tomato, onions, & provolone cheese, Baked Lays, small cup of potato salad, and a can of Diet Pepsi. The pizza slice was reheated in the oven and was decent with a soft firm crust, not too thick with right amounts of sauce, cheese, and sausage chunks. The chicken salad sandwich was overstuffed in soft wheat bread, tasted just fine. The potato salad, very small cup, was pretty good. Overall, a good lunch (my late breakfast also) for under $9.00 with efficient service. I ate the pizza slice standing by the window, while the sandwich was being made. I enjoyed the sandwich on the road on my way back to Da Skill.

The pizza i Bought showing the top view and the weird sponge like crust. Which I really believe it's pre made frozen pizza crust ‍

Quick, tasty pizza and wings, good deal! The crust on the pizza is actually flavorful- not the bland crust I'm used to.

You can't always tell if a food truck at a brewery will be a hit or not - but this one was. The bottom crust had a nice char and the edges were pillowy. There were 4 flavors to choose from each time - so you should be able to find an option that you like. I've tried 3 different pizzas and was really surprise at how good the pizza was. Good ingredients, good flavor combinations, and cooked really well. Follow their FB page to see where they will be. I will definitely keep tabs on their events and follow them around. I honestly can't think of anything I didn't like!

Craig is absolutely amazing, so kind, I loved chatting with him! We first met him at one their pop ups at a brewery in Albany, which confirmed everything he makes is delicious. The pizza was outstanding for our wedding and our guests absolutely loved it! We heard many rave reviews from our family, and they were even able to accommodate some special requests on the spot. Absolutely amazing! And we got leftover pizza afterwards, which was a lifesaver particularly for me and my husband since we were being pulled in many directions throughout the night. Thank you Craig for making our wedding so special, I know we will be visiting you again soon!

This place has some of the best thin, crispy crust pizzas…read morethat I've ever eaten! Golden Grain is a chain. There are currently four in the Capital Region. I've only visited the restaurant on Troy Road in East Greenbush and this was my first visit. I was impressed. I don't know if the other branches are as good, but I would hope there's consistency. The man behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. The clear glass shelves in the display case were filled with a wide variety of pizzas sold-by-the-slice. For instance, I wanted chicken on my pizza. There was much to choose from, including: Chicken Bella, parm, bbq, buffalo, bacon ranch and broccoli ranch. I picked Chicken Bella, which included mozzarella, roasted peppers and tomato sauce. My friend got two slices of Supreme Deluxe: topped with Beef Pepperoni, Beef Sausage, Green Peppers, Mozzarella Cheese, Mushrooms, Onions, Tomato Red Sauce. He loved the pizza. He said the crusts were amazing. Who knew? I didn't until I read the great reviews written by my fellow Yelp Elites. I knew I had to check this out myself. If you want more than pizza, the restaurant also offers wings, chicken tenders, burgers, subs, calzones, salads, a variety of nonalcoholic beverages and a display case full of delicious looking sliced cakes and other bake goods. The restaurant is bright, cheerful, well lit and filled with modern wood furniture. It's a big place with a lot of seating. There's a large screen TV. A side counter with condiments, napkins and complimentary tea. Hot water, cold water and ice. The dinner rush started before 7pm and by 7:09pm many of the sliced pizzas in the display case had sold out but more were being made. I saw at least six or seven employees moving about the open kitchen. There was also a brisk take out business. I'll definitely come back. Golden Grain has everything one would need to throw an awesome Super Bowl party.

This place came up with great reviews, albeit only a couple so far, and we decided to check it out. We drove to the location, which had limited street parking, but we were able to find a spot using my parallel parking skills, then we headed inside. It was a small place, with 2 tables that each sat 4. The TV was on, and we chatted with the guy on the counter who shared a menu with us. In the end we settled for a traditional cheese and pepperoni pizza. No one was using the tables, and we decided to eat in rather than head back to our hotel. We chatted and waited for our pizza, which was done quick and was delicious! Everything you could want from a thin new york style pizza. Good amount of cheese, charred pepperoni, not overcooked or burnt, the crust was soft and delicious. The service was awesome. Every worker we spoke to was nice and personable, without being annoying, over the top or in the way. We were offered silverware and plates, and enjoyed our pizza, before needing a box despite it being so good. I would definitely consider heading back here the next time i'm in Albany, great food AND great service at a reasonable price, what more could you want?

It wasn't overly greasy and you can still fold it in half without a bunch of oil dripping down the middle. I didn't feel like the meat lover's pizza had as much meat as a meat lover's ought to have, so kinda skimpy on the toppings. The sausage and pepperoni only swim in cheese grease and are neither very spicy nor substantial, i.e. thinly sliced. Mostly they serve as just decoration. But the pizza is still is tasty though, since the cheese/sauce/crust combination is good. They deliver to local businesses which make them our first choice for work pizza parties. I knocked off a star because my first time trying Paesans was not good: the crust was overly tough and thick and the sauce was non-existant. So very dry. I regretted the calories consumed. This second time was a ton better but I feel this means their quality is inconsistent.
