I've been there many times. The food is excellent. The pizza is excellent. I'm glad we have an excellent pizza place in Colonie.

Delicious, relaxed lunch with my daughter. First time for her and second for me…read more The Mango Green Ice Tea was refreshing. We both ordered the Beef Sukiyaki and tossed salad. The tender moist beef slices on a roll were very good. The Ginger dressing on the salad was flavorful, and I wish I could buy it to elevate salads at home. We enjoyed the Red Bean Ice Cream which is creamy with tidbits of bean. Outstanding. Service was attentive, friendly, and efficient! Ambiance is relaxed which was welcome after shopping on Wolf Road. And the bucket chairs are so comfortable.

The tea was wonderful and our lunch items came quickly and were tasty. We asked to keep a menu, explaining we would like to get dessert after. Once we we received our lunch food, it quickly went downhill. We never saw our waitress again after that. My son finished his Boba tea and wanted another, but our waitress never came over to check on us. We sat for over 40 minutes after we recieved our initial order and not one waitstaff came over to ask if we wanted anything else, nor did they come over to give us the check. After giving up hope of dessert and more tea, we eventually went to the front counter to pay since we realized no one was coming to give us the bill. Normally, I would understand if it was understaffed or busy- yet the two parties next to us had waitstaff come over numerous times. We were literally ignored. We won't be back and I do not recommend.

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Jersey Mike's. I do enjoy their subs. Slicing meat…read moreand cheese to order is always a good thing. Even though their toppings are limited (even small delis often have things like roasted red peppers and pickles, neither of which Mike's typically have), I want and like all they provide. It does feel, though, like their subs are smaller than they used to be, which I guess is the way of the world sometimes. They can be made a bit messy and sloppy, but you've got to appreciate the quantity of meat you get. Both iced tea dispensers - sweetened and unsweetened - were bone dry. Why are these even on the counter if you're not filling them? Also interesting - when I ordered my fountain drink (Pepsi products here), I asked about my cup, and the person who cashed me out said, "They're right here, just take one," and then left the register to wait on another customer. So do they even care what size cup you take? Fountain drinks are, of course, big money-makers for fast food chains, so I guess as long as you order one, they don't care too much beyond that. A staff of 3 behind the counter kept a long line from forming at lunchtime. The dining area was quite clean. If you're in the area and want a sub, this is an okay option.

Recently, I was flying back from Florida, my flight was delayed around dinner time, so I searched out some food. This was in Orlando airport, so the choices were practically endless. After browsing, countless establishments, I happened upon Jersey Mike's subs. I ordered one of their turkey, special subs, when I opened up the sub, it seemed there was 3 pounds of meat on it lol. And it was not that pre-sliced gelatinous so called meat, it was legitimate real turkey. I am now a jersey Mike's customer forever.

BLUF: A restaurant Chesty Puller would be proud to sit down for some BBQ…read more When I travel I alway try to plan a meal at Mission BBQ. Why? It's not like a boot camp chow hall but more of a casual BBQ spot where you can spin on a sweet tea and enjoy some ribs. The restaurant is decorated with items from all branches of the military as well as the local police and fire department. It's nice to see there's pride for the Armed Forces as well as the people who serve and protect. I stopped in for lunch. I know I'm going to BBQ the next day so I pass on the brisket and I ordered the grilled shrimp. The counter person tells the the cook one order of Grilled Shrimp and in about a minute I had my plate. I grabbed a sweet tea, sat in a booth and enjoyed my lunch. Mission BBQ? That was a fantastic lunch! The shrimp was cooked perfectly and was very tasty. Mike Charlie

Mission BBQ seems to be a fast growing chain. I have enjoyed their food in Cincinnati, Connecticut…read moreand New York. The prices seem a little too high for the portions received. Last time I ordered the three meat sampler for $22. There were two small pieces of brisket (each about 2 inches long) two small slices of sausage and a cup size of pulled pork. This price did not include sides. The service is great and the atmosphere is typical of all other Mission BBQ I have been in but this location seems to be more strict on portion control. I see everything being measured on the scale which is not a bad thing, every business needs to make money but in my opinion the price did not justify the meal. Pulled pork was great, brisket was moist and tender and the extra sides I ordered were good so no problem with the food.
