It's open early so we stopped by on the way into vermont after staying in the area. There is parking available in front of the store. There is no sign at the plaza but there is LED donut shop sign and wooden sign at the front of the shop. Inside is small and there are no seatings so everyone seemed to be coming to pick up their orders. Inside is decorated with lots of different colors and really gives off LGBTQ vibe. They offer lots of specialized donut options. I ended up getting apple cider cake and maple praline matcha drink. My donut was nice and sweet, crunchy and flavorful. My drink was creamy and slightly sweet matcha flavor was nice and light. Only thing that could have been better is if the donut could be warmer. Especially with apple cider donut it would have tasted better slightly warm. May be good to offer option to heat it up for customers at least those that are eating right after purchase there. Service was good and the staff were very nice and welcoming. It wasn't too busy so we didn't had to wait much. Overall it's a nice donut shop with good donuts and drinks. I thought I've reviewed Bitchin before but I guess not. This is one of my favorite places in the entire Capital Region. As someone who was astounded by Birch Bark Eatery (the owner's former project near Glens Falls), I was elated when I found out about the donut shop being in Albany. I loved the Lark Street location and stopped by several times a month for breakfast sandwiches or donuts lol. It's always a vibe at Bitchin and sometimes I even sat there and did work while enjoying coffee. I am so glad they are still kicking despite the challenges of the fire at the Lark St location. Bítchin Donuts had a soft opening today 3/23/23. If you stop in you might recognize these donuts if you had been to Birch Bark Eatery in Glens Falls, NY. Inside the cafe the walls are adorned with murals and a glowing display case invites you in for a look at their delicious creations. The service is always friendly and ready to give suggestions if you're like me and struggled to make a decision with so many great options. The cafe is filled with tables and artwork like a custom wall mural. The vibe is fun and relaxed.
