    Quesadilla with pulled pork
    Annie F.

Went here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and was greeted immediately by the bartender, who was also the waitress. We ordered two beers, including Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, which she said comes with or without maraschino cherries. Of course I had to try it with cherries and it was great! For lunch, my boyfriend and I ordered the Cheesesteak with peppers and Chipotle mayo. You can customize it to your liking by choosing two toppings and a sauce on it, which was awesome. I ordered the quesadilla with pulled pork. Both arrived piping hot and were fantastic! Both dishes had tons of meat on them and tasted great. We're looking forward to returning for dinner as well as breakfast, which they just launched. Highly recommend this gem in Cohoes!

My wife and I stopped in for dinner last night and everything was great, from the service, the perfectly poured pint of Guinness to the 1st rate chow. We will definitely return,

If you are looking for bbq this is the best! The portions are large, the bbq is the tastiest! Small hometown bar with tables for restaurant. Very homey and family like feeling. I'd go back and soon.

We order the bristke dinner20.wow it was dry and unseason. I will never order. I work hard for my money not to Get reimbursement. Please don't order here again

Generous servings of good BBQ at reasonable prices! Got "The Hercules", which is 3 meats and 2 sides. Ribs fell of the bone, brisket was moist and tender! Pulled pork was more like pulverized pork, but lean and smokey like the other meats! Onion rings and Cole slaw were unremarkable. Cornbread was had more of a cake-like texture. I'd forgotten that Labatts draft, which I enjoy, is readily available in the Capital District! Theresa provided great service! Will definitely be heading back for another good meal!

Take out Platter when I got home.

Hello Folks! Long term Cohoes resident. A Regular patron of the precious ownership. Also a regular patron of a competitor on 787. Both are good businesses. But, I stopped in today on the way home for an order to go. I was hungry for BBQ and didn't want to go further from my home. I asked server (Sam) what were the favorites. She said the Platters. I ordered a combo platter of Ribs & Brisket with two sides. (Mac & Chs & garlic mashed) OMG! I got home and it was Delicious! Melt in your mouth. I got a sampler of sauces & all were terrific! They also serve Ice Cream. That will be my next visit! If it is as good as the popular place on Rt 9, I won't have to leave Cohoes for good Ice Cream! Keep you posted. BRAVO SIGNAL 30.

Ordered dinner from this awesome bbq restaurant. A small spot, but always packed! The food is absolutely delicious! We had a burrito, chicken bowl, hot chicken sandwich, and tons of sides! Everything tasted great! A must try if close by Or stopping through! (They even have ice cream in the side as well)

Pick up order, appeared to have been reheated several times, tasteless and burnt. Total cost was $35.00, for a terrible experience.

Amazing experience here with the kamayan feast that was prepared with love by Chef Champ!…read more When we arrived, the table was all set. Chef Champ greeted us and learned each guest's name and showed us how to properly grab the food for kamayan. We were encouraged to grab a drink from the fridge, and I had the calamansi. We feasted on chicken lumpia with Thai chili sauce, lechon with garlic vinegar, chicken inasal, sweet and sour snapper with rice, 3 types of sauces and fruit. And as a dessert, we had beautifully prepared halo halo. After the meal, Chef Champ explained the hand painted wall and the inspiration for the design. This was such a wonderful and cozy experience. I wish I lived closer to Troy so I could go back again!

Menu changes so keep an eye out. If owner is reading this, please add fresh lumpia to the menu once in a blue moon (because that's something I've refused to try cooking at home it's too many components). For anyone wondering what that is it's a savory crepe with cooked vegetables with a sweet and salty sauce and it's so good. Halo halo was good. Reminded me of the days when my parents would buy halo halo from the Filipino storefronts on summer weekends in southern California where i grew up. I got 2, 1 for me and 1 for my fiance. It seemed as though 2 different people made our halo halos because his had coconut, mine didn't and his had a garlic aftertaste like when you cut a fruit on a cutting board after cutting garlic on a cutting board since garlic is strong. Service was so fast. It's all preorder so i ordered the day before, got a text ~15 min before my pick up time that it was ready and picked it up. It's a small place, cute and cozy for a fast meal or for takeout. We know where we'll get our halo halo fix. That and fresh lumpia are the things i eye on the weekly preorder menu

I've been to one of their many locations in Boston and it has always been amazing. It's not a fancy establishment, but very clean and there are but a few tables. It's no concern though because they're made to order fried chicken as well as custom bowls will blow you away! The staff here will guide you through their menu of sauces and options if you are stumped... They're made to order fried chicken in every imaginable flavor, whether next level spicy, or somewhere in between with hints of sweetness will have you hooked! If you crave fried chicken in every flavor possible, your taste buds will thank you. Additionally who can resist sides such as fried cheese sticks, onion rings, steamed rice and the list goes on! You can order ahead online or simply pop in. I guarantee that it will be worth the wait. And besides they are located in a small shopping center if you really can't be tied down for 15-20 minutes... I highly recommend and I will be here regularly whenever I have a hankering for delicious Korean fried chicken. Totally worth it and check out their website ahead of time! Sure, some may think that they are paying a bit more for what comes across as fast food but trust me tis worth every penny. The definition of good barbecue to me is having an amazing brisket as it is one of the harder things to smoke correctly. The fact that this account has a try tip sandwich and other innovative and creative menu ideas made me very intrigued. I was actually a little bit worried that with the menu as large as it is and dabbling in so many different things besides barbecue, that the barbecue part of the menu might be sacrificed but that was not the case. Their house barbecue sauce is excellent, the meat was fresh the service was great and everything had a great smoke ring and you can tell it was not yesterday's food like a lot of the other barbecue places in the area. It is actually in an amazing location right down the hill from Hudson Valley community college and a lot of residential and commercial spots. Also was able to chat with the owner about his intentions for the place. I like his idea. And I like his food also. There is no substitute for solid barbecue, and on the first shot, they scored with me. We tried moink balls, pulled pork sandwich, and the "I.W.G." Sandwich also. Both of them served with pickles, onions and a side of slaw. These sandwiches were large. Definitely a full meal. Excellent barbecue can always be pegged by the smoke level, and it was proper here. Smokey, spicey, moist - It hits all the right notes. I'm not really a sweet potato guy, but they have a sweet potato side to offer. The girl said they were spectacular. Sprinkled with brown sugar and marshmallows. The location is excellent also. Right next to a small pond with all kinds of wildlife. Nice to sit by the water and enjoy excellent barbecue. Dangerous to have good barbecue so close to my house. As far as ratings go, I'll start with 4 stars and progress as we try everything else.
