    Cramped ah space! Love it!!

The service was immaculate! I ordered ahead on the mobile app and swooped in and got the food in less than 5 mins. However I had two fat bitches with me and they didn't have the high iq like I did and calculated the perfect time to order. Anyways we are currently sitting down in the really nice restaurant with only 2 inches of leg room! I'm a fat bitch aswell so it's a little cramped! But the workers were super polite and even cut off one of my friends while ordering. Thus saying, "sorry to cut you off, but what is your name?". Ok that was not cute and fishy cause you could've said that at the end? Am u wrong? Anyways if my food isn't bussin at the end of the night you know damn well I'm writing a 4 star review! Goodnight

DeFazio's has exploded in popularity in recent years because of rave reviews from pizza purists…read more It's critically acclaimed as not only one of the premier pizzerias in the Cap District, but some (me) say it's a top ranker across the country. And that ranking is well deserved. You get a strong familial feel walking into DeFazio's. If you're lucky enough to meet the Boss himself (he will actually be wearing a shirt that says "Boss"), he will give you a history lesson on the pizzeria, his family, and the state of pizz-ology Nationwide. He proudly proclaims that he is still The Sauce Guy around these parts because he has to keep up the quality control. There's something special about eating at a restaurant where the owner cares that much about the product, and they want you to as well. I encourage you to take the plunge and order the General Tso's pizza. It sounds insane, I know. But if you grew up eating this stuff, it will take you back to a time where you were traversing a mall food court and eating free samples (funny enough, that was the inspiration for this pizza). A lot of chicken-based pizzas will have red sauce as a base, but this is actually replaced with the Tso's special blend which has a beautiful sweet-heat to it. If you're coming here for the first time, it's nice to also balance a pizza like that out with a classic. Maybe a cheese or something similar. That way you can try out the red sauce and cheese in its purest form. I had the pleasure of walking through a cheese packing session that was going on in the restaurant, so I got to see that raw mozz up close, maybe 20 pounds of it. At that moment, I felt as though I was approaching enlightenment. When fully melted on that 'za, this cheese has the ideal mix of density and squish. DeFazio's has a special place in my heart. Your time here will make you feel like you are in a pizza sitcom. And you will leave with a feeling that you may have just had some of the best pizza of your life.

I haven't been to this original location on 4th St. in Troy for a few years. The family operation is nearly 100 years old. Remarkably, it's very much as I remember it. A tiny place with three tables. Some of the seating looks like repurposed church pews. The youthful staff, friendly as always. They were running into some delays as orders came pouring in just before dinnertime. They'd have to check to see if they could fit our order for a big pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, onions and peppers. They squeezed us in! Since the wait would be between 20-30 minutes we kept ourselves busy by checking out the desserts in the self serve refrigerator. I picked out a slice of "hangover" (alcohol) cake and I devoured it before our meal arrived. It was so delicious and naughty fun to eat our dessert before the meal. The pizza was fantastic when it arrived. I prefer crisp crusts-- this one was not-- but it was awesome just the same. My friend and I were so hungry that we consumed half of the pie before I realized that we hadn't photographed our delicious pizza. The remaining half was boxed and taken home to be enjoyed for a couple more days. The staff was so ready. They came to our table with the box and we settled up our bill. A lot to be said for tradition and quality. I've also visited DeFazio's in Albany, but I have yet to visit the relatively new restaurant up the block. Thanks, DeFazio's, for another great meal.

The drinks came out quickly after we ordered them. The food took a decent amount longer. While we did wait 30 minutes for our food when it wasn't very busy , when it did come out it was hot and delicious. Flavorful wings, yummy disco fries/tots and some of the most well seasoned onion rings I've ever had. The atmosphere of the restaurant is classic pub food bar place but was well cleaned. Other than having to wait a little longer than usual for our food it was a great experience. We were so excited to eat by the time it came I did forget to take a photo of the food but it was all portioned well and well seasoned.

People kept telling me, " It's across the street from The Ruck. You know, The Ruck?" That was no help to me. I was unfamiliar with this tavern. To think that it's more famous than the county offices sparked my curiosity. So after I took care of my paperwork with the county I stopped in at The Ruck. I would describe it as a business and dive bar that makes craft beers. I made it in for lunch on a weekday. I took a seat at the bar. I was surprised to see the menu was quite extensive. There was a nice selection of soups. I ordered a cup of Greens and Beans along with 5 oz. of Fat Orange Cat Brew Chonky . I liked the beer. The soup was quite good, too. The man seated next to me was eating wings. He was raving about them. He said they were the best in town. I'll have to try them next time. Service is very good. The bartender was a good guy. Very nice and helpful. He said that on football game nights the bar is packed with Bills fans. Sounds like a lot of fun.

This quick service version of the popular wings sports bar chain offers a streamlined menu of wings, boneless wings, sandwiches, burgers, fries, salads, fried appetizers and cold Pepsi fountain drinks & bottles. The place is geared for takeout, online ordering and delivery with pickup bins to the left of the counter. There are 2 tables (4 seats & 2 seats) near the counter to eat your food. Before watching Sunday football, I placed an order on the BWW App recently and ordering the 6 Boneless Wings (Sauce Gardner Sauce) & Fries with carrot & celery & Bleu cheese, and a Saucy Chicken Sandwich with Orange Chicken Sauce with onion rings (extra $2 instead regular fries). My order would be ready in 15 minutes after ordering, just enough time for me to drive there from North Greenbush. My order was all set and bagged in the pickup area, in and out quickly. I checked my order before leaving the parking lot. I enjoyed my food back at the house. The boneless wings (breaded chicken nuggets) were larger than normal and tossed with the Sauce Garner Sauce, a medium spicy kick and great for dipping in the bleu cheese. The golden shoestring fries were crisp and lightly salted. The Saucy Chicken Sandwich had a long thin crispy chicken filet topped with sweet orange chicken sauce, sticking out from the toasted soft bun, over pickles. However, like previous visits to BWW, the portion of battered onion rings was a bit small for the additional price instead of fries. Overall, having a BWW 'GO' is pretty convenient compared to going into a full fledged BWW restaurant and bar, which is usual very busy during Sunday football. I've often had to wait a while for my takeout order to be all set after pickup time at some BWW locations back in NH.

I ordered this as takeout and just had to take a couple of bites in the car before going home to try it nice and warm. This kind of sandwich is hard to find. A special roll needs to be used for this called a kimmelweck roll. A kimmelweck (or kummelweck) roll is a crunchy, Kaiser-type bread roll topped with coarse salt and aromatic caraway seeds, primarily known for defining the Buffalo, New York, "beef on weck" sandwich. Originating from 19th-century German immigrant traditions, they are usually filled with roast beef and soaked in au jus. The sandwich was loaded with juicy flavorful roast beef. The bun had caraway seeds and coarse salt all over the top of it which complimented the beef deliciously. It also had a horseradish sauce on the sandwich, so good. It was served with tasty fries and two little cups of au jus. I would definitely order this again.
