I absolutely love the brisket. The mac n cheese is amazing as well. I will definitely return. This is an iconic place to eat in Cohoes, Albany County.

Staff is super nice, food is delicious! Good homestyle food in a neighbourhood setting.

Came here on a quiet Wednesday afternoon. It wasn't busy but that's ok it allowed for me to receive my food quickly and be on my way. They had the Original Rocky movie playing on the TV so this place had to be good right? It was! It was delicious. The interior itself is set up for eating BBQ that's all you can ask for! I had various menu items which were all delicious. The BBQ sauce was great as well and everything hit the spot! They make some solid BBQ here. My only complaint was my S'mores cheesecake had soft graham cracker on top. I would have liked it to be crunchy to add to the S'mores experience but regardless it was still great.

Stopped midway on a bike ride at this spot and we were rewarded with a warm welcome from the owners and some smokin' good barbecue. We tried the pulled pork sandwich with fries and loaded it up with their traditional sauce and it was really good. The brisket dinner platter with sides of baked beans and mac and cheese was top notch--really enjoyed the burnt ends, tender and sweet. Loved the mac with a little of their homemade mustard sauce added on top. The vinegar sauce was bright and brought us back to the flavors of NC. These guys have some impressive credentials on the competitive BBQ circuit and you gotta love a business founded by brothers with a shared passion for great food. Will definitely return to try their fried chicken and their ribs. Only so much room today. We'll be back to fuel future bike rides. Yum.

Miller's has breathed life back into the old Pig Pit in Cohoes. I think they might do more of a takeout business but there is plenty of comfortable booth seating inside. You order at the counter and they bring the food out to your table in a matter of minutes. The meat was smokey and tender without being overbearing. I got a combo with pulled pork and ribs. The menu board said it came with 2 sides but they have now upgraded it to 3 with lots to choose from and no up charges like some places. Plus we got a free slice of misseskisses cheesecake for spending $50. The ribs fell right off the bone. The mac & cheese was exactly what you would expect to find at your family's cookout. I'm pretty picky when it comes to onion rings and usually stay away from the beer battered style because I think they are bland. These were much better than I anticipated due in part to the delicious dipping sauce that came with them. They had 3 bbq sauces on the table to choose from; regular, mustard, and vinegar. I only tried the regular. It tasted noticeably sweeter than other places almost like a honey bbq. I also tried the cheddar sausage which was awesome! I totally forgot that they do $1 wings as well so I will definitely have to go back to try them.

Amazing experience here with the kamayan feast that was prepared with love by Chef Champ!…read more When we arrived, the table was all set. Chef Champ greeted us and learned each guest's name and showed us how to properly grab the food for kamayan. We were encouraged to grab a drink from the fridge, and I had the calamansi. We feasted on chicken lumpia with Thai chili sauce, lechon with garlic vinegar, chicken inasal, sweet and sour snapper with rice, 3 types of sauces and fruit. And as a dessert, we had beautifully prepared halo halo. After the meal, Chef Champ explained the hand painted wall and the inspiration for the design. This was such a wonderful and cozy experience. I wish I lived closer to Troy so I could go back again!

Menu changes so keep an eye out. If owner is reading this, please add fresh lumpia to the menu once in a blue moon (because that's something I've refused to try cooking at home it's too many components). For anyone wondering what that is it's a savory crepe with cooked vegetables with a sweet and salty sauce and it's so good. Halo halo was good. Reminded me of the days when my parents would buy halo halo from the Filipino storefronts on summer weekends in southern California where i grew up. I got 2, 1 for me and 1 for my fiance. It seemed as though 2 different people made our halo halos because his had coconut, mine didn't and his had a garlic aftertaste like when you cut a fruit on a cutting board after cutting garlic on a cutting board since garlic is strong. Service was so fast. It's all preorder so i ordered the day before, got a text ~15 min before my pick up time that it was ready and picked it up. It's a small place, cute and cozy for a fast meal or for takeout. We know where we'll get our halo halo fix. That and fresh lumpia are the things i eye on the weekly preorder menu

The definition of good barbecue to me is having an amazing brisket as it is one of the harder things to smoke correctly. The fact that this account has a try tip sandwich and other innovative and creative menu ideas made me very intrigued. I was actually a little bit worried that with the menu as large as it is and dabbling in so many different things besides barbecue, that the barbecue part of the menu might be sacrificed but that was not the case. Their house barbecue sauce is excellent, the meat was fresh the service was great and everything had a great smoke ring and you can tell it was not yesterday's food like a lot of the other barbecue places in the area. It is actually in an amazing location right down the hill from Hudson Valley community college and a lot of residential and commercial spots. Also was able to chat with the owner about his intentions for the place. I like his idea. And I like his food also. There is no substitute for solid barbecue, and on the first shot, they scored with me. We tried moink balls, pulled pork sandwich, and the "I.W.G." Sandwich also. Both of them served with pickles, onions and a side of slaw. These sandwiches were large. Definitely a full meal. Excellent barbecue can always be pegged by the smoke level, and it was proper here. Smokey, spicey, moist - It hits all the right notes. I'm not really a sweet potato guy, but they have a sweet potato side to offer. The girl said they were spectacular. Sprinkled with brown sugar and marshmallows. The location is excellent also. Right next to a small pond with all kinds of wildlife. Nice to sit by the water and enjoy excellent barbecue. Dangerous to have good barbecue so close to my house. As far as ratings go, I'll start with 4 stars and progress as we try everything else.
