Mandu steamed dumplings
Katie N.

Came in here for dinner with some friends and had a great dinner with amazing service. We ordered some appetizers. The steamed Mandu dumplings and the Kimbop. Both were very tasty. For the entrees, we ordered the Bibimbap on the hot sizzling stone bowl. The ingredients taste great and they give you a squeeze bottle for the hot sauce. Our meal also came with a ton of mini sides. Our waiter and waitress refilled our waters often and checked in on us. The restaurant was clean and could seat a lot of people. Overall, we had a great time, the food was good and service was excellent.

Friendly Family run business that you hope to find around a Military Base. Plenty of seating for small to large groups. Good menu that covered the bases of someone craving Korean food like our two Basic Training Graduates were after a few months without it. Overall everyone was happy with selections and left full. Plenty of Bonchon with refills as it was devoured. If in the area and u need your Korean craving satisfied, this spot will do it for you.

Banchan!

I miss Korean food SOOOOO much! Had a chance to get some and enjoyed this place very much. We both ordered the lunch special, picking chicken bulgogi as our meat. It was good, but I think what I enjoyed the most was the traditional banchan! Such nummy stuff!!! I find it weird that a Korean restaurant would serve crab rangoon with traditional Korean food, but hey... It was tasty. The Yaki Mandu on the other hand definitely wasn't great. BUT, it was KOREAN FOOD!!!

Bulgogi special

So happy to have stopped here! Food was amazing and service was great! I'm assuming the couple who served us were the owners.. super friendly and attentive. Thank you for our experience.

Best actual Korean BBQ around! The food was on point. We ordered the combos with 3 meats and sides. Jopcha was one of the sides! Soooo good! Miso soup came with it too!

I was told come to this place for home cooked meal, meals that you would get when you went back to your parents home... that statement was misleading unfortunately. I ordered the Chicken Kimbop and Bulgogi - dinner portion. Lets dive into each dish 1. Banchan - they provided 6 items, the only good banchan was the cucumber kimchi. The potato had no flavors, and broccoli - just boiled and served. 2. Kimbop - it was decent. The rice was nicely seasoned, but the teriyaki chicken was bit off... maybe it's because I never had this kind of kimbop before. 3. Bulgogi - it was decent. As for seasoning, it was bit on salty side, lacked the sweetness that I was expecting. Overall, decent Korean place. Cash only.

Stopped here for some fresh and delicious food on a road trip and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely people inside made it even better. Get the bibimbop

We were so incredibly ( and pleasantly) surprised by our visit to Cafe Korea. I had briefed the reviews, but mostly looked at the photos before coming here. But you really don't think the middle of MO is going to have the greatest food. Well you need to definitely give this place a try. The bulgogi was absolutely delicious!!! And I mean some of the BEST bulgogi we've ever had. It's by far my favorite Korean food, so I was so happy that it was authentic and delicious. The sweet iced tea?! Um can I just have a constant flow of this to my mouth, please?! It was amazing! Very sweet but then again, why are you ordering sweet tea if you don't like it sweet?! Very yum. We tried the steamed mandu, which was very good, but not out of this world. You enjoy gyoza? Then you'll like this. The sauce that it comes with is definitely good. The crab Rangoon?! Delicious! Get it. It's so yum! They bring out complimentary kimchi and other pickled veg too! The scallion pancake was delicious as well. You really can't go wrong here. Everyone ordered different types of bulgogi, (chicken, beef, pork), and each variation was superb. We also had the fried rice, which was standard. It cost $100 to feed 7 people. So it averages about $15 per person, which is awesome for the amount of food. And really, probably less because we just wanted to try everything!! The service was spectacular!! When walking in it seems rather small, but don't let this place fool you. They can accommodate big parties!! Definitely a must try! And although I'm sure we will never be back, we were so happy to have experienced this place and hope so many others can enjoy it as well.

Combination dinner

First time trying this place with a few friends who are stationed in Korea so they knew what to order. Everything tasted amazing. The owners are real nice and friendly. They ensure your drinks are filled and the food is brought out quickly. We got the combination KBBQ and all the meats were marinated perfectly. The Spare ribs were my personal favorite. Go for the food stay for the hospitality.

Had the bibimbap and as hoped from all of the other great reviews, it was quite good. All of the flavors were there and the server was quite nice as well. If I had any critique is that the banchan sides were all on the skimpy side which is a shame because all were delicious. I imagine I could have asked for more but did not. Just beware if you are used to some different portion sizes from other places you may frequent. But would definitely recommend and return for another try.

Amazing soft tofu soup as always, tastes the way it did 2 years ago I last had it!

One of the only places in the St. Robert area that serves decent and filling Korean cuisine pandered more towards the casual American eater. + The food is quite delicious, especially the soft tofu soup! The broth is rich, but not overwhelmed by fishy aftertastes. + The lunch boxes are always very filling and they are very generous with their serving portions! + Very friendly customer service and the atmosphere is very homey! - A bit pricey when compared to other Korean dining experiences ($11 for soft tofu soup and $9 for lunch box special). They even charge you $2 for an extra bowl of rice :( Kinda greedy if you ask me... - Bulgogi sauce is way too sweet, no balance between bbq marinade and soy sauce. Also meat was a bit gristly Overall, come here to get your Korean food fix. If you live in the Fort Leonard Wood area, beggars can't be choosers and this place is pretty good.

I love this place and the food quality. Inconvenience of cash only. Discovered it by accident looking for another place to do my taxes

Friendly service and good food. It is not as good as Korean BBQ places in Korea, but is the best Korean place I've ate at in Missouri.

Excellent food and service just a few minutes from FLW. Reasonable too. We got lunch specials and General Tso's chicken.
