Excellent service and attentive wait staff. Delicious and fresh authentic food prepared with attention to every detail.

Service needs some work. Came in around 5:00pm, restraint looked like it had a total of 5 tables of customers, still had to wait 30 mins to get seated. read more

Everything was amazing! They just recently started taking credit card which was great. Servers were attentive without making us feel rushed. We got the beef bulgolgi stone plate and the chicken bento box. Both were super flavorful. Calm vibes and very clean! Will come again! read more

What a disappointment. New management made a HUGE error in judgement with a built in 18% gratuity for a table of 5! Wow, you would think the service, portions, prices, or the continuing absence of their liquor license could justify and support the mandatory tip, when there were only 3 tables with customers? Unfortunately, this was not the case, and for the life of me, I can't see why any mgmt thinks mandatory gratuity is acceptable? Hint, tips should be earned, and no one earned a 18% gratuity this evening bc the service sucked! . My family (3) and friends (the couple who joined us) look forward to returning when management assumes the reins and can afford more help, napkins, a liquor license, and let their patrons determine the % of gratuity! read more

First time there for lunch. I tried the hot plate beef bulgogi. Along with the side of rice and other sides it was amazing! The servers were very friendly. The restaurant was very clean. Even a clean bathroom!!! I'm looking forward to trying other dishes on the menu! read more

Great place to eat. Near the main gate of FLW. Recently opened when we visited and their alcohol license was not live but that did not reduce our enjoyment. Excellent Korean BBQ. We had a group of eight including a toddler and were seated quickly, treated very well, and had a great experience. Reasonably priced for the portions. Will definitely return next time we visit. read more

CASH only. Make sure to grab some cash before you go, or you can use the ATM inside the restaurant or one in the parking lot. I walked in, said party of 1, was pointed to the corner table (behind the ATM). I got the menu and ordered my drinks. I only came here to try their Rotisserie Chicken, as it was only available during dinner time. I tried to order, waitress had to go and ask, came back and was told they are not doing that item. Not sure if it wasn't available on this day or if it's not offered. Sadden, looked at the menu again and went with - Kalbi Tang (Short rib soup) - Kangpunngi (sweet and tangy fried chicken) (note, you need to order by the item numbers and not by the name of the dish) Got my drinks, then the banchans (side items) came out. You get 2 pieces of potatoes that were cooked in soy sauce, small amount of chopped up napa kimchi, small amount of shredded radish kimchi and three slices of cucumber kimchi. I would have done BBQ, but was told it wasn't good by my nephew, thus opted to order the regular dinner menu items. The Kangpunngi came out first, it was actually good - 4/5 stars. However, it wasn't tangy, but on the sweet side. This dish really reminded me of Orange Chicken from Panda Express. I would recommend it, it's not spicy at all. Kalbi Tang - LA Kalbi (thin sliced short ribs), topped with glass noodles and some sliced green onions. Typically kalbi tang broth is clear, but their version was on the darker side. The taste was bit bland for me, but they have salt on the table for that :) I gave two stars because of 1) no ability to pay with credit or debit card. I hope this is temporary thing, however they should consider getting square or something so they can take credit cards. Second reason for two stars - their service. The only time I saw my waitress was when I got the food and 5 minutes before I was done, that's when the waitress came by to ask if I needed anything. The cup was full of ice and the side items were all empty - a sign that those needed to be refilled. I also noticed this at other tables as well; there were three waitresses working, but they were all huddled around the fountain drink machine busy chatting. Overall, what I had was decent. The service could improve and the side items could improve as well. read more

Yet again. First time in Missouri and afraid I wouldn't find the usual food spots that I have back in vegas. Fortunately, there was a Korean spot right by the military base. The inside of the restaurant was vibrant and decent looking. The hostess? Or maybe owner of the restaurant was kind and greeted my friend with kindness. He talked to us about my friends career (diver) and basically told us we should be proud. He then proceeded to show us kindness when we left. The food was good and enjoyable. read more

I am completely disgusted by the food. Some of it was subpar. However the meat I had was completely Rancid, a waitress acted like there was not a problem at all didn't apologize didn't say I'm sorry that this happened or anything. The cook came out and said I can make you something else I was hesitant very hesitant. Made me something else however by that point I was so disgusted by what I tasted that I had no appetite. My significant other went to say something about it I should have myself and told them that I am a chef and I know when food is bad they said we make this fresh daily do not trust that. The whole meal should have been comped. I never spit my food out nor do I raise a fuss but this was disgusting I will never go here again. I don't care what people think you say you make things daily ( by the head waitress) however if something goes rancid it's been sitting for a very long time you cannot tell even if it's in a marinade but yet I don't trust that because something going rancid is in there for weeks, it takes 24 hours or less to go Rancid. Each batch should be cooked beforehand to test it don't assume that the food is good just because you put it in there the night or the week before. Do not subject your family to this restaurant the rice was disgusting the only thing that was good was the tempura. I will not be going there and dining again. read more

Decent sized parking lot for the establishments. Not your typical Korean BBQ place as it did not have the hot plate grill in the middle but the food was still pretty good. I ordered the combination Koba Dinner Stone BBQ Plate and my boyfriend ordered the Beef Shot Stone Rib. Both were very well marinated and really good. Great portion sizes as well. We also ordered the Korean pancake to start and a some Kimchi soup. The kimchi soup was delicious. The Korean pancake wasn't as crispy as I'd like it and lacked some flavor. Otherwise good food and friendly staff. It was cash only when we went. read more

I don't even know where to begin. Since the name of the restaurant includes Korean BBQ- I was expecting to be able to cook my own meat at the table but that's not the case at all. I had lunch with my friends and decided to try this place out for the first time. We had a new server (and I totally understand being new). But she got to-go orders ALL mixed up and only I had a to-go order. I told her what I wanted to order and she asked me which one that was on the menu when she's the one that works there (and I wouldn't mind looking for the item on the menu if I wasn't busy holding my baby trying to settle her down). Prior to actually ordering, I was waiting for my husband's text on what he wanted me to order to go for him and let the server know that I'll let her know when he texted me back. However, she continued to come to the table every 5 minutes asking if he texted me back. She continued to do this for about 8 more times after I had already let her know that I'd let her know. It took forever to get our yaki mandu which wasn't even yaki mandu. They were basically frozen dumplings you can get at the store. The side dishes were in very small portions. The soup I ordered was nothing more than mediocre. And it didn't help that we were the second group to come in for lunch and was one of the last to get our food. There were about 6 other groups that got sat, ate, and left before we even got our soup orders. The whole experience was not a good one. And I was really looking forward to this new restaurant. Lastly- They only take cash. ATM is inside. $2 fee. They have alcohol on their menu but are not serving alcohol currently. read more

Stopped here after traveling all day from Oklahoma. Ordered the Bibimbap and the combination Dinner. Favor was wonderful and the dinner was a sample plate, delicious. read more

We came this restaurant 3 days after grand opening, a little after 5:00 pm. We waited about 15 minutes for somebody to assist us. When they got to us we were told that they are not getting any more customers. 1 weeks later we came back because we still wanted to try it out. We still waited about 15 minutes for somebody to help us. They look very busy because there's only 2 servers working and those 2 servers are also the cashiers. They are only accepting cash, the servers/cashiers didn't wash their hands going back and forth. The food was ok, nothing too special. We asked for sriracha sauce but we don't think it was the real sauce, it tasted like ketchup. read more

It's super clean, great service and the food is fantastic! I highly recommend eating here. Wish it was in Rolla, Mo.

Awesome food and excellent service! Very friendly and very helpful people. The service was fantastic. Would really recommend.

So first things first, don't read the name to this place because it will lead you places you won't end up. The name implies Korean BBQ which is where you have a grill at the table and cook the food there, but no, that's not this place. Everything is cooked in the back and BBQ is a REALLY big stretch. It's basic Korean food, and honestly, most of it isn't bad. The Yakimandu and the mozzarella sticks seemed frozen and didn't taste like they were made in house. The sides which come with your order aren't bad. I know there are other reviews which complain about the amount which comes with these sides, but honestly, it's a side, not a main course. I felt the amount of different types of kimchi, potatoes and everything were ample enough and the kimchi wasn't that bad. Service here is okay at best. Lack of staff usually leads to longer wait times and staff not checking on you. Around FLW it is pretty well known that Wed-Fri are the major days for Family Days and Graduations on base and you're likely about to get a lot more traffic from visiting families, but I saw one person working an absolutely packed place with a line of people waiting to get served. All while the employee complained about it constantly. That was a longer lunch than we expected due to the speed of service. When they're not packed the service isn't amazing, but it's not horrid either. They also do not take card here, so bring cash or pay the fee at the ATM they have on site. All in all, will I go back? Possibly. I'm not going to go out of my way to look for this place, but if work wants to do a lunch there I'm not gonna say no. read more

The food was amazing. I ordered the beef galbi, white rice, with an extra side of radish kimchi. The food came out sizzling hot and the flavor did not disappoint, what did disappointed is that the extra size of radish kimchi took forever to come out. You have to have cash but food is amazing! I've gone there twice and both times the service and food hits!

The inside of the establishment is clean and well kept. The service is pretty sub standard unless the only type of service people are used to is low level. The waitress doesn't even know the menu the staff gets into arguments loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear. The food isn't horrible but definitely not worth the wait. Luckily for as bad as this place is people around here will continue to come here and keep them in business. As for me you can catch me at the Ocean Buffet. read more

The food and service was good. I was hoping for a Korean bbq grill but the stone beef ribs were delicious and well worth the experience! Always great service and good food! Their spicy ramen is to die for but be prepped for the real heat

Amazing food, staff and owner were so so nice. Loved every bite!!! If ever in the area again I will definitely come back here.

Ordered the bibimbap yesterday and loved it so much, ordered it again today! Very delicious and well prepared. The staff was very pleasant and efficient from my take-out perspective. The restaurant seemed clean and it was nicely decorated. The type of relaxing environment to have a nice dinner in (next time.) Never been to Korea, so I can't speak to authenticity, but compared to other Korean restaurants in the U.S., this place exceeds the expectation. When next in town, we will definitely return to this restaurant. Thanks for the delicious food! read more

The bad reviews are from dumb people who go during Grand Opening and never worked food service but anyway the food was amazing I enjoyed the ramen and edamame(best in town) the vegetable fried rice was flavorful! Do i think Saint Robert needed another korean restaurant? No, but this place is very refreshing. The vibe inside the restaurant was good, i just wish there was the k-pop music playing like in Korea. Worst restaurant I've been in since Denney's. For starters, no green tea hot or cold (it's on the menu). Service was pathetic. Got orders wrong, charged us wrong, and our to-go order was never ordered. Waited over 45 minutes without the waitress every stopping at our table or saying a word to us. We had to ask another waitress about our to-go order, which was never put in. Arrived at 5 pm got out at 7:30 pm. What a disaster. Understaffed. You could hear the cooks ring the bell and not one server responded. Two cooks came out to find out what's going on. Checkout training apparently never happened so all the servers were huddled trying to check people out. All the servers. That's what was going on. No one was getting service. Food getting cold in the kitchen. Never going back to this place again. read more
