Yet again. First time in Missouri and afraid I wouldn't find the usual food spots that I have back in vegas. Fortunately, there was a Korean spot right by the military base. The inside of the restaurant was vibrant and decent looking. The hostess? Or maybe owner of the restaurant was kind and greeted my friend with kindness. I am completely disgusted by the food. Some of it was subpar. However the meat I had was completely Rancid, a waitress acted like there was not a problem at all didn't apologize didn't say I'm sorry that this happened or anything. The cook came out and said I can make you something else I was hesitant very hesitant. Made me something else however by that point I was so disgusted by what I tasted that I had no appetite. My significant other went to say something about it I should have myself and told them that I am a chef and I know when food is bad they said we make this fresh daily do not trust that. The whole meal should have been comped. I never spit my food out nor do I raise a fuss but this was disgusting I will never go here again. I don't care what people think you say you make things daily ( by the head waitress) however if something goes rancid it's been sitting for a very long time you cannot tell even if it's in a marinade but yet I don't trust that because something going rancid is in there for weeks, it takes 24 hours or less to go Rancid. Each batch should be cooked beforehand to test it don't assume that the food is good just because you put it in there the night or the week before. Do not subject your family to this restaurant the rice was disgusting the only thing that was good was the tempura. I will not be going there and dining again. read more

Decent sized parking lot for the establishments. Not your typical Korean BBQ place as it did not have the hot plate grill in the middle but the food was still pretty good. I ordered the combination Koba Dinner Stone BBQ Plate and my boyfriend ordered the Beef Shot Stone Rib. Both were very well marinated and really good. Great portion sizes as well. We also ordered the Korean pancake to start and a some Kimchi soup. The kimchi soup was delicious. The Korean pancake wasn't as crispy as I'd like it and lacked some flavor. I don't even know where to begin. Since the name of the restaurant includes Korean BBQ- I was expecting to be able to cook my own meat at the table but that's not the case at all. I had lunch with my friends and decided to try this place out for the first time. We had a new server (and I totally understand being new). But she got to-go orders ALL mixed up and only I had a to-go order. I told her what I wanted to order and she asked me which one that was on the menu when she's the one that works there (and I wouldn't mind looking for the item on the menu if I wasn't busy holding my baby trying to settle her down). Prior to actually ordering, I was waiting for my husband's text on what he wanted me to order to go for him and let the server know that I'll let her know when he texted me back. However, she continued to come to the table every 5 minutes asking if he texted me back. She continued to do this for about 8 more times after I had already let her know that I'd let her know. It took forever to get our yaki mandu which wasn't even yaki mandu. They were basically frozen dumplings you can get at the store. The side dishes were in very small portions. The soup I ordered was nothing more than mediocre. And it didn't help that we were the second group to come in for lunch and was one of the last to get our food. There were about 6 other groups that got sat, ate, and left before we even got our soup orders. The whole experience was not a good one. And I was really looking forward to this new restaurant. We came this restaurant 3 days after grand opening, a little after 5:00 pm. We waited about 15 minutes for somebody to assist us. When they got to us we were told that they are not getting any more customers. 1 weeks later we came back because we still wanted to try it out. We still waited about 15 minutes for somebody to help us. They look very busy because there's only 2 servers working and those 2 servers are also the cashiers. They are only accepting cash, the servers/cashiers didn't wash their hands going back and forth. The food was ok, nothing too special. We asked for sriracha sauce but we don't think it was the real sauce, it tasted like ketchup. read more

So first things first, don't read the name to this place because it will lead you places you won't end up. The name implies Korean BBQ which is where you have a grill at the table and cook the food there, but no, that's not this place. Everything is cooked in the back and BBQ is a REALLY big stretch. It's basic Korean food, and honestly, most of it isn't bad. The Yakimandu and the mozzarella sticks seemed frozen and didn't taste like they were made in house. The sides which come with your order aren't bad. I know there are other reviews which complain about the amount which comes with these sides, but honestly, it's a side, not a main course. I felt the amount of different types of kimchi, potatoes and everything were ample enough and the kimchi wasn't that bad. Service here is okay at best. Lack of staff usually leads to longer wait times and staff not checking on you. Around FLW it is pretty well known that Wed-Fri are the major days for Family Days and Graduations on base and you're likely about to get a lot more traffic from visiting families, but I saw one person working an absolutely packed place with a line of people waiting to get served. All while the employee complained about it constantly. That was a longer lunch than we expected due to the speed of service. When they're not packed the service isn't amazing, but it's not horrid either. They also do not take card here, so bring cash or pay the fee at the ATM they have on site. All in all, will I go back? Possibly. I'm not going to go out of my way to look for this place, but if work wants to do a lunch there I'm not gonna say no. read more

The inside of the establishment is clean and well kept. The service is pretty sub standard unless the only type of service people are used to is low level. The waitress doesn't even know the menu the staff gets into arguments loud enough for the whole restaurant to hear. The food isn't horrible but definitely not worth the wait. The restaurant seemed clean and it was nicely decorated. The type of relaxing environment to have a nice dinner in (next time.) Never been to Korea, so I can't speak to authenticity, but compared to other Korean restaurants in the U.S., this place exceeds the expectation. Me and my Granddaughter just happened to stop in here one day and I'm so glad that we did she says its her new favorite place to eat. There food is so good the house noodle's are fantastic for sure, she wants to eat there all the time and she's only 9. I love this place. If you do get a chance to go try it please do you will not be disappointed. The bad reviews are from dumb people who go during Grand Opening and never worked food service but anyway the food was amazing I enjoyed the ramen and edamame(best in town) the vegetable fried rice was flavorful! Worst restaurant I've been in since Denney's. For starters, no green tea hot or cold (it's on the menu). Service was pathetic. Got orders wrong, charged us wrong, and our to-go order was never ordered. Waited over 45 minutes without the waitress every stopping at our table or saying a word to us. We had to ask another waitress about our to-go order, which was never put in. Arrived at 5 pm got out at 7:30 pm. What a disaster. Understaffed. You could hear the cooks ring the bell and not one server responded. Two cooks came out to find out what's going on. Checkout training apparently never happened so all the servers were huddled trying to check people out. All the servers. That's what was going on. No one was getting service.
