It was a fast moving line once I arrived and the food was ready within a few minutes so the wait from start to finish (receiving meal) 12 minutes. The crispy chicken was tasty and I will say "try-it" and let me know if it was tasty as well read more

Slim chicken is a small place on the fort Lenard wood base and it's attached to a gas station. Parking is fairly huge so parking is super easy. Service is impeccable! They were nice and friendly ! The ambiance is pretty basic nothing out of the ordinary but the chicken !!!!!!! Is amazing ! It tatted fresh, they aren't skimpy with their portions I definitely recommend this spot ! read more

This place is not that bad. This is the Wish version of Chick-fil-a. I got the Cayenne chicken Sandwich. It was pretty good. My food was hot and had good flavors. It Alaniz tasted like a chick fil a sandwich. This is definitely a TEMU version. The service was decent but the cashier was was a bit slow. I told him i wanted a meal and he kept asking me if i wanted a drink with my meal. I'm sure the menu said a meal comes with a drink. Either way, i was not disappointed. read more

Slim Chickens - Chicken Shop Near Me - Fort Lenoard Wood, Missouri

After the third bad experience in a row, I knew I had to come on Yelp and write a review. The first two times, I had cold chicken, they skimped out on the chicken when I ordered a chicken salad, and now this. I ordered a grilled chicken wrap and there was literally a single chicken in my wrap with a bunch of lettuce. I paid too much to get consistently horrible meals. This is dollar menu problems. I hope they step it up but for now, I will not be going back here. read more

Slim Chickens - They weren't playing when they said "slim" chicken - Chicken Shop Near Me - Fort Lenoard Wood, Missouri

Good customer service. The food is decent too and came out fast. I dont have anything bad to say maybe the tables can be cleaned more often but it was busy when I went so thats understandable. read more

Cheesecake cups are to die for !! Fast service. Respectful employees, never had trouble or issues

|DO NOT EAT AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT| Worst experience ever, came through drive thru to get some food and cashiers in drive through were very rude and unprofessional after I asked a few questions, and then my food looks like it's been thrown around and barely no sauce on my wings, never returning. read more

So I came here for my first time! My spouse told me I had to try this place! And I will tell you that it was the Best chicken I had ever had! I was so impressed with the delicious food as I got the Tender Basket meal with Macaroni & Cheese and it was PHENOMENAL! I'm coming from Florida and this was by far better then any Chicken place I've ever tried! And I love their dipping sauces and that they have Refreshing brewed Tea like Raspberry & Peach! Highly recommend this delicious place! read more

Fresh and great tasting fast food. I've tried their chicken sandwiches, wraps, but my favorite are the tenders. Tenders are a good size and seasoned really well! The dessert jars are a must and very tempting during each visit. The customer service is always fast, friendly, and efficient which is appreciated. I would say the ambiance is that of a typical fast food restaurant, this location is always clean and condiments are always fully stocked. read more

I wish I could give zero stars!! This place is terrible!! I went here for lunch and ordered the the chicken finger basket. I waited in the drive through for about 53 minutes. When I received my food it was burnt and the teriyaki dipping sauce was disgusting!!! And The fries were cold read more

Ordered a cayenne ranch chicken sandwich meal with fried pickles. Every piece of the entire meal was very obviously sitting out for a while. The chicken was a very small portion, and the breading was tough, I'm guessing because it sat under a warmer for a while. The fried pickles were soggy and cold. Not sure how that stuff sat for so long even though it was busy. read more

Great place to cool down from training and dine with your friends. Gives off a relaxing feeling, good is pretty fair in price and taste. Would def keep going til graduation. Recommend - club sandwich - tender combo - macadamia cookies The jar dessert def is not worth it the price for how it tastes. Pretty plain and boring( IMO ). Another hit or miss the the Mac n Cheese, if you're a trainee it's better than Defac so enjoy. But it's really all that was decent though. read more

Peace and good afternoon yelpers, This remark is solely based on this establishment for the 3 times that I've been here...dined in twice and had take out once. Very busy location so I don't understand why both times that i dined in my food was served cold. I went to SC Saturday bc my battle wanted wings, and I literally had to repeat myself at the register 4 times. Back home, when I did work in the food industry, that was and I'm sure is still frowned upon. The cashier has one major job, to listen to the customer so I'm not understanding what's the big deal. My battle buddy that ordered before me didn't receive her sauces, And then I too didn't receive my sauces.... I ordered 6 wings and potato salad. The Mango habanero flavor is good. I was really looking forward the eating the potato salad when I realized right before taking my first bite, there was bacon in it. Which is fine, for folks that eat pork, HOWEVER, for us non-pork eaters, it will be VERY helpful that the menu discloses the fact that there is pork in certain items. I honestly was so upset but remained professional and nice when speaking to the SC employee. I kept apologizing to her for having to give it back, and she was very sweet about it not being my fault. I did appreciate that. I gave SC another try yesterday... but ordered something cold. The strawberry pecan salad made me very happy. Was a good meal before I went to workout... Slim Chicken establishment and higher corporate members, please look into disclosing when pork is certain items.. I will be back for that salad... and maybe give that strawberry cheesecake jar a try on my cheat day... :) read more

Chicken was like rubber and unable to eat. Manager was rude to her staff and it looks like this place just needs better management.

Good chicken strips.. Fries almost always old. And ice cream machine always "broken"... you serve like 5 things come on...

I went through the drive thru, decent wait time. Friendly staff. I ordered a chicken strip meal and 2 cookies. Price wasn't terrible. However everything seemed really salty. Chicken and fries seemed over salted. Hell even my cookies were salty! I probably won't be back. read more

good salad. good chickens. really weird floors, i feel like i'm going to fall over every time i go there...

Not as good as the DFAC. The chicken in the DFAC...way juicier, more tender, and just better overall quality.

Only good thing about Fort Leonard Wood. Great chicken place even by a normal city's standards. Tons of good sauces and super generous portions. read more

For fast food around here this is definitely my go to now!!! My son refuses to eat the fake typical chicken type fast food restaurants and would only eat chick fil a before we got here. Thank goodness we tried this place. There are so many dipping sauces to choose from. You get a ton of food. We had first gone when it was busy and the wait goes by really fast so don't let that stop you. read more

Ok people are tying to trash this place in the reviews, and from what I can tell it's mostly about wait times. Everyday this place this packed at lunch time. You easily have about 15 cars piled up in the drive through and I usually see people outside standing in the heat taking peoples orders. So yeah if you go during the most rush/peak hours you may have to wait awhile because they're busy. Not something they can change. Complaining you had to wait too long? Well yeah that's what happens when they have a line out the door. Go at a different time then. I went in at 6p.m. and every seat inside was filled so I got my order to go. They still had my food out to me within 4 minutes of me ordering. Spent less than 6 minutes in the restaurant with waiting in line. Pretty solid if you ask me. The food it self i thought was pretty good. It's chicken strips and fries. Did you honestly expect something gourmet? Its decently priced and they deliver exactly what you would expect. Plus they have some decent dipping sauces some of which are free, and others for only $0.29 a cup. read more
