Garlic Cheese Curds

My husband and I stayed a night in Lebanon and were pleasantly surprised by this spot. The service was friendly and great! We only ate appetizers, but they were fresh and very good. The rest of the menu also looked good. Everyone who walked in seemed to know each other. All were happy and friendly. Definitely recommend. It was an easy and relaxing way to end a long day of driving.

Robs Pitmaster. A $50 burger! No joke.

Despite the reviews a buddy and I tried this place while out on a motorcycle ride. First impressions were good, as we were greeted by a very friendly waitress upon entering the cool interior. There were plenty of places to sit and it wasn't crowded. The AC worked well which was greatly appreciated after several hours on a bike. The service was fast, and the food was very good. I had the cheddar bacon burger which came with some very tasty bacon on it. My buddy had the same thing, with a fried egg on top which was done correctly. We also had cheese curds to start. I am typically not a big fan of cheese curds as they tend to be a bit greasier than I like, but these were light and fluffy and I found myself snarfing them with enthusiasm. Drink refills were frequent without our needed to ask for them. On a side note. They offer a $50 burger. This isn't reflective of their prices overall, but I'd have loved to see what a $50 burger looked like! Unfortunately nobody ordered one while I was there, but it's got to be amazing at that price!

Awesome French dip. One of my favorites.

Love this place. Staff is awesome and food is great. Fee dip is my favorite and my husband always gets the burrito with fries inside it.

Food was great service was great nothing could have made this better! Well maybe a bigger stomach so I could have eaten more but hey what you gonna do!

Waitress was great, food was hot and delicious assortment of sauces to try two of which we purchased to take home. Garlic cheese curds were delicious and so were my smoked wings. If we ever visit again we would definitely come back!

Wanted to try this place for a while. The staff was super on top of everything and very friendly. It was clean and enjoyable atmosphere. Beer and wine options are aways nice. The burger came out covered in fennel seeds which made the burger pretty much unedible. The server was not happy but without asking did take a portion off. I do plan to go back but will not order this again. Also, side note, the Chile they use comes from Colorado and not New Mexico the Chile capital.

Great people. Outstanding food. Tri tip dip with potato salad is the move. All the BBQ sauce is made in house.

Service was great. Food was average. Just expected a bit more for the price of our dinner.

It's the kind of joint where the atmosphere is thicker than a Sunday morning fog and the hospitality is warmer than a radiator in July. Since we're right there in the shadow of the fort, you'll find yourself rubbing elbows with all sorts of folks. They say you ought to eat where the locals eat, but in a military town, "local" is a relative term--most everybody there is from somewhere else, and they're all just passing through on Uncle Sam's dime. But at Hopper's, for an hour or two, everybody's treated like they grew up right down the street. If f you're looking for a cold beer, Hopper's has their own house brew on tap that's colder than a mother-in-law's stare. It's a sports bar in the truest sense--wall-to-wall TV screens making sure you don't miss a single down or a checkered flag. When there's a car show in town or a big game on, the place gets livelier than a porch dog with a new bone. Speaking of dogs there is a semi-permanent guest that stops by name of Norman. Pet him and you will have a friend for life. They aren't feeding birds here, friend. We're talking Burgers and fries of with tons of flavor. Sliders, cheesesteaks and wings, make sure you got extra napkins. I am not sure why but I think he also have vegetarian options. The staff is politer than a deacon on Sunday. They're attentive, friendly, and they treat travelers like they've lived in Waynesville their whole lives. Keep in mind they are pumping out a ton of adult beverages and food. A cold beer and a good burger are worth a five minute wait. Whether you're just passing through or you're a "local" who's only been in town since your last PCS, Hopper's is a solid bet for a good time and a full belly. It's family-friendly, high-energy, and highly recommended. And if you happen to be there when they break out the Bingo, hold onto your hat. They've got a unique set of calls and responses that'll frighten and amaze you the first time you hear 'em--it's somewhere between a drill sergeant's cadence and a tent revival, and it's worth the price of admission just to witness the spectacle.

Lots of crafts beers, the menu was ok, the food was good, not as many items to pick from. It wasn't…read moreas busy on a Wednesday evening which was good, lots of military and route 66 memorabilia. Not far from Fort Leonardwood, I hear is a favorite for locals in the area.
