First and probably only time in this little town. We decided on a whim to come here and it was wonderful. Completely worth the trip.

Oh my god this place sucks. i wanted to try some itialian food cause theres like none in lebonan but when we got there they gave us some hard bread we got the mozzerlla appitizers you could probalay get them from sonic pizza cane with a salad fir everyone (which the lettuce was old) the person i came with got sone alfredo (which was a soup) which cane with ANOTHER SALAD and the pizza was undercooked and the itlian saysage was the only thing you could taste in it and to climax it all after A SINGLE BITE of the pizza i got sick and threw up!! would have been two star if i didnt throw up NEVER GOING AGAIN read more

We dined at DaVinci's for the first time last evening. The eggplant parmesan was well made, tasty, even if a bit unappealing in appearance with the only view being a red sauce covering the whole dish. But tasted quite good. The other dish at the table was reportedly Spaghetti Carbonara. It was also tasty, however, not what would be expected from a traditional carbonara. I guess I expected a parmesan and egg sauce or at least an Alfredo sauce with prosciutto or bacon. Instead, it was a combination of cubed ham, mushrooms, and tomato chunks in a tomato and cream sauce. Having been to Alfredo's in Rome, as well as having operated a large restaurant in Vicenza Italy, this variation was interesting but unexpected. Service was excellent. read more

Solid spot! We came here while coming through town and it was super convenient as it stays open later than most places! Food was nothing crazy exceptional but all prepared well and had good flavor! Very enjoyable meal. Great service and ambiance, it was just a very nice, chill setting. I got the chicken cappellini and it was great, had a full, savory flavor. The location was easily accessible for interstate overnighters like us, a mile or so from the hotel. Location is in a strip mall, restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. The food was so so, its high end Italian food, it is what you would expect in a small Italian restaurant in a small town along an interstate. That being said, if you can get by with not expecting to much this is still better than going thru a drive thru for fats food etc. read more

Was told about this place by a fellow employee. He said it was as "ethnic" as you could possibly get without going to Italy. He said the owners were originally from Italy and decided to open a traditional restaurant. It's an hour drive, but my wife is a huge fan of Italian food, so we decided to make the trip. We went on a Sunday right after the church crowd let out and it was packed! It's really not too big of a place, so I was surprised when we pretty much got right in. Our host I assume was one of the owners. He had a thick accent and I'm pretty sure it was his picture on the wall . We were waited on fairly quickly, and our food arrived at a decent time even with it being busy. The first thing the brought out was of course bread, and man do I have to say it was the best home made bread I had ever had! 4 giant fluffy pieces that were the size of like a 6 inch sub! The menu was extensive! I'm sorry but I'm unable to remember the name of everything we ordered; except my kids fettuccine. My wife got a cheesy tortellini dish, and mine was also tortellini with chicken and broccoli. The pasta Aldo tasted hand made, and the vegetables were very soft, and the sauce flavorful! I have never had Italian food of this caliber!!! It made some of the local places I have had around here taste like fast food! The only negative was it was a bit pricey. Of course it was the best I ever had, and I'm sure it was all hand made, but 3 drinks, 2 adult meals and a child's meal was $55 plus tip! Definitely a date night linda meal, or unless you are a wise guy and can afford it often. Regardless I'd definitely come back, and recommend this place to anyone looking for traditional Italian cuisine. read more

"The worst Italian meal I have ever had." Spoken by my 77 y/o father. Pretty much sums it up. To advertise as authentic Italian, you better back it up. While the owner is from Verona, I'm not sure what Midwest, back-woods, American cuisine he has tried or thinks we actually eat simply because we are in Missouri. I admit, we are spoiled by The Hill in St. Louis. But, I think it's a good thumb to measure against. Yes. Different regions have different cuisine. But nowhere in Italy have I ever had a red, Italian dressing, which we believe was Catalina dressing or French. The lasagna was overcooked, and was completely masked by the copious amounts of Oregano. It was floral. I won't go further regarding the other dishes, but I will comment on the cannoli. No. Just, no. We had to saw into the pastry that appeared to be store-bought, but piped last minute with a flourish of chocolate drizzle. Terrible. Sacrilege. I cannot believe the chef is proud of this food. Have a long way to go to improve. We will not be back. Please do better for the Midwest. read more

I stopped here for lunch today while traveling. The location is convenient, not far off I44 exit 129. Service was good. All staff were friendly and attentive. I ordered the minestrone lunch special; my companion ordered the calzone lunch special. Both specials for $11.99 each included side salads and large knotted rolls with a plate of seasoned olive oil for dipping. My companion loved the house-made sauce that was served with the calzone. My minestrone was piping hot and teeming with flavor. Seriously it was the best I have ever tasted and the vegetables in it were fresh and perfectly cooked, Half a lemon in the bowl made it appear even more appealing. We were "passing through" on our way home and wanted to catch dinner before another eight hours on the road. Our waitress brought bread and an olive oil dipping "sauce" to our table as soon as we sat down. My daughter ordered a spinach calzone which she said was better than the pizza she was craving. My husband had the sampler platter that he enjoyed immensely. He said if this restaurant were close to home, he would eat here 2-3 a week. I had a chicken dish that had fettuccine noodles and the sauce made from a combination of marinara and Alfredo sauce, plus it had a lovely, slightly smoky flavor. I was blown away. Most of the restaurants in town are very basic. Di Vinci was clean, quiet, and had a very pleasant feel. Ate here with a co worker and overall it was alright, nothing to write home about. The warm bread and oil was a nice surprise and the bread was really good. I ordered the pasta combo which had lasagna, ravioli and one other type of pasta that I cannot remember what it was. The food came out LUKE warm and tasted fine, but not wow this is awesome. Co-worker plate came out piping hot and thought the same thing, good not great. Staff was nice, service was fast, maybe too fast. We got our salads and about 5 mins later we got our entrees. We were there on a Tuesday so they were not swamped. Would give them another try when back in town. read more

We were greeted right inside the doors with a smile and seated immediately. The establishment is nice and modern inside and out with great decor, it's very clean and the seating is spacious and cozy. Our very friendly server greeted us quickly with a smile and took our order after bringing out a very generously filled basket of fresh and warm bread and Italian herbs and oil for dipping that we enjoyed with our drinks brought to us fast along with our salads. They were also delicious with fresh lettuce and veggies including cucumber, tomatoes, croutons and cheese and the French dressing I chose and the house dressing my husband chose were both tasty. Next came the entrees, my husband had the sampler trio and I had the baked ziti lunch special. The portions are very generous and both were mouthwatering. I tried a bite of my husbands manicotti and enjoyed it. Everything was plated beautifully and most importantly all the food was incredible. They have a large menu with many options and several that are vegetarian friendly which I look for everywhere I eat. We were checked on just enough and every employee we encountered was helpful and friendly. The prices are very reasonable for the type and quality of the food. There is a good sized kids menu and several appetizers, sauces, desserts, etc. to choose from as well that all looked and sounded excellent if you're able to eat that much. I had enough food left to have another meal with my leftover ziti and whole other piece of bread. It's a great atmosphere with friendly and inviting vibes and good for dining alone, with loved ones and friends and even families with kids. For the adults there is a bar you can order from and they do offer drink and food specials. We noticed several other happy and content diners during our visit and we were thanked by our server and others on our way out. We will be back for sure and are looking forward to trying other entrees and highly recommend them. read more
