I have visited this place several times now and always been impressed... until tonight. It was a Saturday night. It was 8pm, 2 hours before closing and an hour before the kitchen closed. We were promptly greeted and seated as always. We were then immediately greeted by the server, Austin, who made it very clear his mission was to get us in and out promptly. He immediately asks if we knew what we wanted to drink. Mind you we literally just sat down. I told him we would look at the menu but we'd like some bread and oil to start with. He came back for our drink order after just a minute or two and then immediately asked for our food order. Mind you we haven't even hit the 5-6 min mark yet. It was quite clear we were being rushed. So we hurried and gave him our food order. But because I was already perturbed, no drinks were ordered. Now mind you I almost always get a bottle or two of wine. (one of the main reasons we go there is the wine selection) Our server Austin returned after about five minutes with our food. Getting our food so quickly was a surprise. However, still no bread and oil so I reminded him. Which he admitted he forgot. The food was lukewarm at best and had no flavor. We waited for a few minutes for Austin to return so we could ask for salt and Pepper only for him "this time" to suddenly disappear. So I got up and asked the bartenders for salt and pepper. The food was bland and the serving size was half of what we usually get there. When Austin finally returned with the bread and oil, the bread was cold. No attempt at heating it or toasting it. It was literally a roll of French bread, cut into slices, and then some oil thrown in. We were hungry so we ate our dinners. Austin returned as soon as he saw we were done eating to take our plates and asked if we would like any desserts. I made a comment. I don't want any desserts if they taste like our dinner. He then grabbed our plates and walked away, staring at me the entire time. He then immediately brought our tab, which was $79 for two plates of half full pasta dishes, one iced tea and a cold French bread. I have been there several times before to where the service was outstanding, the food delicious, and the atmosphere great. But this was quite disheartening especially at being a Saturday night. I almost always order a bottle or two of wine plus an after dinner cocktail. Because of the way I was made to feel and how bad the food was. I decided not to stay and left almost immediately after my dinner. Especially since it was made so clear we weren't necessarily welcomed to stay. One thing I've always found kind of catchy about the place. Is they serve your water in old retired liquor glasses. Both glasses of water they brought still had the sticky residue left on them. Which was more of an agitation after the night we had. Again, overall, the previous experiences will allow me to go back again. But this experience needed to be heard. read more

Upon entering there are various eclectic gifts. Many are related to wine and cigars. Very nicely decorated. Wonderful atmosphere! Inside has a beautiful bar and tables to dine in. My sister and I dined outside which reminded me of a cafe on the street in Paris. We both ordered the salmon salad. It did take some time for our order to arrive but it was well worth it. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The salad was fresh and flavorful. The waitress was very attentive with refills on iced tea and cold water in jars for the table. Ambiance is both good and bad. Seated inside under speaker of music- bad. Cackling loud females with too much alcohol in them-bad. Decorating and surrounded by wine inside environment-good! Now to food. Crab and spinach dip was good. Had with Flight of sweet white wine shared with another person. Had the BBQ half salmon salad. Salmon was cooked nicely. The dressing or vinaigrette used on greens had absolutely no flavor, the blob of guacamole was terrible. I real miss on a dish that needs a makeover and has the potential to be so much more. Had a cup of mushroom soup- it was flavorful- but almost too salty. The last main complaint was the very slow service. Our waitress I think taking care of the patio. It was an hour before we had food on the table. We were there an hour and a half for a meal. We were the neglected stepchild seated inside. I would go back to try something else and give the service another go. If better I will up the stars. But for all the above- 3 is as much as I am willing to go- really a 2.5 experience. read more

We went at 2 pm on a Saturday. No greeting and they made it clear they were doing us a favor by seating us lol We ordered a charcuterie and a wine flight and I'm sorry to say it was about 45 minutes until we received it, and it was kind of a joke of a charcuterie board, no crackers or hummus or anything the menus say they include.. My niece has eaten here before and recommended it for lunch during my visit. Our server Jordan was courteous and efficient. We started with the bruschetta. It was really delicious. The bread was perfectly toasted with delicious tomatoes. The downside was that it had scant mozzarella. Despite that, it was a hit. The Italian salad was the best thing we ate. I requested the salami on the side as we shared it and my niece is a vegetarian. Perfect amount of all ingredients. The best croutons and a delicious Italian dressing. She had previously eaten the cauli crust pizza with blackberry, ricotta and basil so that was her recommendation. It was very good but when I say the crust was over cooked, I'm not kidding. The edges were seconds away from burned. It was tooth breaking hard. The flavor combo is spectacular. I want to get it again when the didn't forget to take it out of the oven. This is a gorgeous venue. Between the dining area, bar and cigar room, you have a lot of options. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Food options are just right with a good variety but the prices are a bit high for the area. You could take this menu to Dallas or Tampa and still be above average price category. I would still recommend for special occasions as we enjoyed everything. Only recommendation would be that the Brussels sprouts would use a little extra crunch since they came out very green, appearing undercooked, but thankfully they were very tender inside and cooked through after all. My family was on our way home from Branson when we found this gem! My daughter and I are gluten free and finding it isn't always an easy task. My daughter had the Salmon and Avacado Toast and I had the Banana Fosters French toast. I am going to be dreaming of my meal because it was that good. I DEFINITELY need to go back. My husband has been raving about this place since he joined the cigar club and after the endorsement of the normally least excited person. When our friend Brian (who raves about nothing) first started the buzz about this place we had to take notice. The wine and whiskey bar offers a huge selection, the wine we have seen here is the top of the top. The food was delicious, we ordered everything from pizza to salad today and it was ALL delicious. The decor was comfortable and the music was enjoyable and nostalgic. Oh did we have a great time ! Our waiter was stupendous and I understand the live music is not to be missed. Really poor on every level. Saw the waitress twice the entire time we were there. Was unable to order any wine as a result, waited for over an hour just to be disappointed. Charcuterie has no bread product of any kind which makes the bowl of tomatoes they call bruschetta just weird. No hummus, no tapenade, no crackers. We even ordered bread and oil as an add on and then ask for it when it never arrived. Looks great, atmosphere is awesome. Really too bad that management clearly doesn't care at all. I've been looking forward to coming here for a while. My husband and my dad frequent their smoking lounge and have spoken highly of the food. I'll start by saying the service was great. And so was the atmosphere. The food is where things went a bit downhill. We decided to come for date night. We ordered the crab dip, the Italian job calzone, and a soup & salad combo - small caesar with the soup of the day, a shrimp gumbo. The dip looked and tasted like a block of cream cheese with more cheese melted on top. Nowhere did I see or taste crab. And I was also a bit disappointed that it came with sesame crackers rather than a toast. The calzone was excellent. As was the Caesar salad. The gumbo, on the other hand, in my opinion was far from gumbo. It was described to me as a shrimp gumbo with a kick. 1) there was no shrimp. 2) the rice was cold. 3) there was maybe 4 small pieces of whatever sausage they used (quartered pieces, so one slice). Let's start this with I searched for Cigar lounges and ended up with so much more! Initially we googled Cigar lounges while in the lake of the Ozark's and drove 1.5 hours and ended up with this pleasant surprise. We have been here 4 times total and the consistency is what makes us want to come back! Well that and the Great servers and food we have had each time. Honestly we get the same food each time which is the Piping hot Oven baked crab dip with garlic flatbread crackers and my goodness is it good! We also get the Godfather Pizza which is loaded with Sausage, Capicola, Salami, Spinach, and artichokes and the pizza crust is a twisted bit of tastiness too! Honestly each time has been on the money and you truly get amazing food and quality service worth every penny! First time around I had the opportunity to talk to the owners as it was our first time in and they are fantastic folks. We had Racheal as our server this last time and she is awesome! My other favorite part of Vineyard Market is the ability to walk into a nicely stocked Cigar humidor to grab a couple cigars and go into the cigar lounge connected to the restaurant which is loaded with enough Tv's for all the sports fans or maybe a episode or 2 of The King of Queens reruns haha! The ventilation in the cigar lounge is powerful enough to blow your hair back sometimes which is great for people eating next door because you'd never know there were people enjoying cigars just on the other side of the wall. Overall this is one of our favorite places to go each time we go to Osage beach. Yes it's 1.5 hours away from Osage beach where we stay but it's well worth the drive! read more

I've seen people post about Vineyard Market on Instagram for weeks, and was really glad we decided to try it for lunch on our way down to Branson. I grew up in Ozark, and there's never been anything this cool there before! I ordered the Rose wine flight--3 different Roses for $12. My husband and I shared the spinach artichoke dip and the Vineyard Club flatbread. The flatbread was fantastic, and is topped with fire smoked ham, Cajun turkey, pepper bacon, tomatoes, fresh basil and four different cheeses. I would recommend ordering a flatbread per person, as they're personal pizza-sized. The market side is super cute, and had great hostess gifts. Wine is sold-by-the-bottle to drink there or to-go, so they have all of the things you need for a last-minute get-together. There's also a humidor in back so you can get cigars. I don't know if that's a thing, but my husband liked it. I will definitely recommend Vineyard Market to everyone I know! read more

My husband and I randomly stumbled upon this place, and I'm so glad we did. Moving here from Dallas, I have a lot of 'opinions' about restaurants here. We've been to Char, Flame, The Garrison, etc. This is hands down the best restaurant in this area. Our waitress, Halaina Harris, was very knowledgeable in helping to select wine. They have wine flights, which I love. My husband was a big fan of the cigar lounge. This place provides a top notch dinner 'experience'. The prices were excellent for the quality and amount of food.
