First time here, loved it! We got here at 5:10 on a Friday and there was plenty of inside seating but we opted to sit on the patio outside, which was very nice. The owner was also our waitress and she was very friendly and answered lots of our questions and gave us menu suggestions. My mom really liked their Pam's Unoaked Chardonnay which is hard to find many places. I had the pomegranate mule which was excellent! We shared the Brie en croute which comes with toasts and topped with pears and walnuts. It was absolutely delicious, it was creamy and sweet and the puff pastry was perfectly crisp. This place was so cool! We stopped in here after a recommendation from some people at 4x4 brewery. We loved that the menu is full of wonderful, shareable options. We ordered the Italian meatballs and the scallops to share. The scallops were amazing! I would definitely order that again and again. The meatballs were good as well. I had a Malbec but I can't remember the name of the wine. I felt that their wine prices were fair and They had a lot of options I had not seen before locally. The next time I come in I am going to get a wine flight. The atmosphere was great in here as well. We liked that there were a variety of seating options so that you could have an intimate dinner or a larger group set up and there are couches and chairs that allow you to have a casual setting over glasses of wine and delicious food. Excellent meal to celebrate my birthday and engagement. Our waiter was so energetic and outgoing, making for a great night. We got a few bottles of the Chasing Lions Pinot Noir - I was impressed! If you love a light red, I would highly recommend this one. As an appetizer we got the big cellar board and Romesco Gouda Dip. It was enough to allow 6 people something to snack on while we conversed. We did get more food as the evening went on - I personally got 2 of the sliders. They were simple, but very creative. I was a little unsure of their hours. Yelp and Google say they close at 10:30, but as we were the last ones there come 9:45, we decided to leave, assuming they changed their hours and closed early. As soon as we got in our car, the blinds were down and the open sign turned off. We assumed they were waiting for us to leave BUT this doesn't change the rating I give as we still had a great night. I've worked in food before and know I'm anxious to get out of there early any chance I get. Traditional tapas bars keep late hours. But this is the northern foothills of the Ozarks. Springfield, MO. Not traditional. There are 15 customers and the bar is mostly full. These are good signs! One hour until closing. Saturday night. Should still be in the AOK Zone, no? Sadly, no. Barkeep welcomes us, hands us menus (first mistake.) Peruse wine list...check!  Place wine order...check! Scrutinize tapas menu...check! Barkeep returns saying "Sorry, but we're out of that wine." The wine list is short, so fall back to alternate selection...check. Barkeep notices us discussing tapas options..."Oh, the kitchen is closed." Second mistake. I should've faked being hit by the pitch and taken a walk, but the coach already had her wine. The base coach's signal to the next batter is: "Take the walk back to your car." Why hand customers menus if you know your kitchen is closed? The answer is: never. Kitchen closure requires 1) menus be put away and 2) customers be immediately informed prior to placing any order. But, on Saturday night? A full hour before closing? Really? Would've liked to try the food. Cheese was at the bar, so a small order was possible. The wine list was small, so you hope they've narrowed selection to some interesting, if not fun, choices. It's another pitch low and outside. Our pours weren't bad, but neither my glass nor my date's flight was worth the effort of staying. Your mileage will likely vary depending upon how much go juice the staff choose to put into their tanks. For my visit, they were few in number and apparently running on empty. Insult to them that my system in my garage sounds better. $40 gets you show and brunch. All drinks are not included. Our brunch was a joke. Two cold street tacos with corn left over from previous night. They did have toast with avocado spread on it but three of us can't eat avocado. We were told if we wanted champagne we should order a bottle. What our server didn't tell us that they were charging over $38 per bottle for an $12 bottle . WE ORDERED 3. Yikes. I brought friends from San Francisco.... how embarrassing. Our total ticket for 5 of us with tip over $535. It is a fun idea but there is no stage and the ladies just stroll through the tables asking for tips. We are total supporters on the LBGTQ community. The girls deserve better than this. More importantly... our server should have said the price of the bottles. We drank a lot so I get it. But we didn't even see a menu even after asking for one. He said it would be cheaper to get bottles. I suppose it wouldn't have made me so mad if the food would have been edible. I'm used to drinks being marked up. I get it. What bother me was the pathetic food served cold for a 40.00 brunch. Drag show: 3 stars for girls and 0 for sound system. Brunch: 0 ! We are glad to pay for drinks and drag. This is probably my new favorite place to have a glass of wine and a little snack! I went here for the first time last week and I think I am hooked. The atmosphere was very inviting, and there are even couches to sit on while you eat and drink. I am originally from California, and I was happy to see a variety of wines from the central coast offered on the menu. I went on a Saturday night for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised with live music! There is a beautiful mural on the wall depicting wine paintings. The service was excellent with many different wines to choose from & a few flights! I went here for a girls night & we all really enjoyed this new spot! My only wish is that it would stay open later, especially on the weekends! I think midnight would be a nice time to close, instead of 10/10:30.
