This is a clean Culver's. When we first got there several staff members welcomed us in and we were quickly told someone would be with us shortly. I must say that i take fast food for granted cause i avoid it as much as possible, but Culver's is unique in the category. Like McD's they provide a consistent product at all locations but their Mushroom Swiss burger is the best burger out on the road. When they feature the Plankhouse Pub burger it's also worth a good try. Their customer service is always great so you can tell their training systems are on point. Having done marketing work in the QSR category for years I know how competitive it is. And we really take fast food for granted until it's not fast. My biggest takeaway from this Culver's location is that their staff is well trained in providing customers with a good experience. I bought milk for my son, who started opening it and promptly spilled some and made a mess at the front counter. As soon as the cashier saw that, he got some napkins to clean it up and even got my son a new container of milk! That immediately took the customer service to the next level! Came to town to visit my son stationed at Fort Leonard Wood. He wanted burgers so we came to Culver's. It is definitely a popular place. It was pretty busy. The employee were so friendly. The food was good. Loved the onion rings. The kids meals comes with custard which was awesome. My grandson loves his chocolate custard as well as his food. We haven't been to a Culver's since being in Florida. We loved it there and we loved it here! First off, the staff here are SO FRIENDLY and HELPFUL. It's always "my pleasure." The food was excellent! Can't speak for their burgers, etc.. only got the shakes and cheese curd and fried onions. Went through drive-thru, the whole process took around 12 minutes. The sakes were good, the cheese curds went well with the shake - the sweet and salty - perfect combo. The onion rings were decent. I promised my friend that i would be sure to have frozen custard while I am in Missouri. We don't really have frozen custard where I'm from in Washington State, so I was truly excited to try it. We went through the drive thru to get our delicious treats. I ordered Chocolate Heath Bar in a sugar cone. You know what?? It was so delicious. Much smoother than regular ice cream, it was like eating frozen bits of heaven! Flavors were perfectly balanced, and the texture is soooo silky! I am so grateful for my friend's recommendation! It's about a mile off of 44 but easy access of the west side of the road and has a stop light so it is easy to get back on the main road that takes you back to 44. They have vanilla, chocolate and a special flavor that changes each day. Tonight it was cookies n cream. The burgers are cooked to order and like in n out, never use frozen beef. They have three different cheeses to choose from and the bun is toasted and buttered, hence the name for their burgers as butter burgers. The burger was 'lish, but the custard was flat out orgasmic! I got I scoop vanilla and one scoop chocolate. It's made fresh and I cold see that they just finished a batch of vanilla. The vanilla tasted better than the chocolate. My dining partner, Ms. Hitler, agreed on the selection of vanilla as the superior custard for this tasting. With all the crummy greasy spoon fast food joints outside the Army base here in St Robert, MO, you can't beat the quality and price of Culvers. Service was quick. I wanted to like this place! They have a pretty large menu and the website made everything look awesome. I've never been to a Culver's so decided to try a kids cheeseburger and chicken tenders. Basic stuff. The cheeseburger was cold. The cheese wasn't melted at all, just a slice of processed cheese on top of a fairly bland patty. The bun was cold and wasn't heated or toasted at all. With the veggies added, it made for an underwhelming, cold burger. Fries were average frozen crinkle fries. The chicken tenders were ok. They were the best part because they were the only items hot. Nothing stood out other than it was mediocre. I went through the drive through and ate in the parking lot so my food being cold a minute after pickup was sad. The kids meal plus 2 tenders was almost $10. Far too expensive for something that was cold and fairly bland. I'm better off going to a run in the mill fast food place like Wendy's for half the price. The food was cold, bland and over priced for what it was. won't be trying Culver's again. read more
