Walked in to place a to go order. It took a few minutes for any of the staff to do anything but look at us and scowl. A taller woman came to the counter in a very rushed and rude manner-almost like we put her out by being there. Immediately she says "30 minutes". No "hello" or " may I help you?" We asked it we could place a to go order and she repeated herself "30 minutes". For a to go order? "Yes". She was so rude we walked out. We would have waited 30 minutes if she wasn't so rude. I don't expect red carpet but that was absolutely ridiculous! Ended up at Bulgogi House and was immediately greeted as customers should be. Thanks for being so rude. This place rocks! The food is great, pretty authentic and quality ingredients. The banchan is also very good. Free Wifi is just a bonus. I had the bulgoki and it has a great flavor and the meat was tender. Best Korean food in the area. read more

I've eaten here several times over the last couple years. Food is great and I was really looking forward to beef bulgogi. I went in the door and waited to be seated like usual and like the sign said. Several of the employees saw me standing there waiting to be seated but no one acknowledged me or took me to a table. I waited 6-8 minutes and then three ladies came in and one of the workers immediately asked them if they'd like a table and to be seated. Completely ignored me. At that point, I turned around and left. After this experience, I'm not too sure I'll return, at least not for a long time. read more

Good food and fairly priced bibimbap was GOOD considering some other places I have visited. A large portion of the patrons seem to be military. Only thing you should know is to have cash on you. Otherwise you'll have to use the ATM and pay the extra fees. read more

Korean food that tastes like mom made it! So, so, very good. The service lacks, but that could be because we got there right at opening and they still seemed to be prepping. Love this place. Great servers the ladies are always very polite and nice. But the food is great. Egg drop soup is the best I've ever had, very fresh. We've eaten the bulgogi, galbi, fried rice, yakimondu, crab Rangoon and beef teriyaki. All very good and reasonable prices. Really good beef bibimbap, but could use a little salt. The sauce fixed that problem though. I was a little unsure when I ordered because the prices were low and there was no mention of what kimchi was included. Well, let me tell you, you do not have to worry about going home hungry. There were probably 8 different kimchis and the bibimbap bowl was huge. I shouldn't have eaten it all, but I couldn't help myself. I need to stop back by while I'm in town to try their dumplings. Listen. We went here tonight with very high hopes to finally eat good Asian food in St.Robert and I was extremely, utterly disappointed. First the positive-husband (who IS 100% Asian) had the bibibamp and enjoyed it, he had nothing bad to say. Now for my meal I got the Ramen and was very ready to fall in love and enjoy it. I was so upset I almost said something to the owner. My "ramen" was from a prepackaged instant-noodle rapper. How do I know?? BECAUSE WE BUY THOSE SAME INSTANT NOODLES and I could recognize it anywhere. They didn't even try to hid the fact it was instant noodles by adding fresh noodles or even tossing in some bean sprouts. No. It was the noodles thrown in some boiling water with the seasoning packet for the broth. This was $6.99. I had no idea that this was going to be instant noodle ramen, but my first clue should have been that nothing came in the noodles. (Usually at the very least ramen has egg) I asked to add some beef and was up-charged $2 which I assumed was reasonable because I expected some nice size pieces of meat. I was also disappointed. It was less than an ounce of meat and it was cut into pieces about the size of a penny. I hate to leave such a terrible review size we tend to try and support local businesses and such but this was just a wild experience. If you go here please do not get the ramen. Honestly I wouldn't get any kind of noodle. Looking back on it I wish I took a picture of the bowl because it was just embarrassing. That being said, this place has good reviews so we will be returning for one last time to try something else. I'm a believer in second chances. read more

Café Korea is definitely better than Seoul Garden...I just wish I knew this 2 months ago. Everyone who works here is Korean and service was good. The first time, I dined in and ordered Dol Sot Bibimbahp and Yakimandu, deeeeelicious. And of course, my lunch came w/ all the extra goodies, i.e.; kimchi, cucumbers, cuttlefish, sprouts, Korean pancake thingys and Korean egg thingys. The other day, I got take out and ordered beef bulgogi, again; very good. Medium spicy was just right and the portion was big so I had left overs for lunch the next day. I think my only critique is that this place does not accept credit/debit cards...BUT that's okay because they have an ATM inside. read more

If a review was based solely on the food, I would have given 5stars. The food here is good. I had jahp chae and my husband got the bulgogi. Both dishes were filling and delicious. However, the service was not good. The only time we were spoken to was when our order was taken and when we paid. To get a drink refill or to-go boxes, we had to flag down one of the 4 people who were working. When we were eventually helped the staff was nice enough. But when going out to eat, it should not be the customers job to get the attention of the staff to receive basic service. read more

We've eaten here several times as we passed through St. Robert or spent the night on Route 66. Excellent food here with very reasonable prices. We love Korean food and think everything is extremely delicious. The lunch bento box came with a lot of food and side dishes too. Kimbap and mandoo are wonderful. Okay, I liked the food. You get a lot for what you pay for.. I am all about a family atmosphere but WTF! I do not care to see my waitress walking past me while I'm eating and brushing her teeth. Then sitting at the counter staring at me as I'M staring at my empty drink THEN at her. And still (5 minutes in of no water) looking in the mirror and picking your teeth with your finger nail. And STILL (8 minutes in of no water) packing powder over the 6 and a half pounds of makeup already piled on your face. 0.o And STILLLLLLLL ( 13 minutes in of no water and standing at the counter for 2) not acknowledging I'm only standing at your desk waiting to pay for my great meal... but lousy service.... :/ I guess it's time to start googling how to make my own Oriental food. read more

The food was very good...however, as we were eating in the dining room, the waitress and the owner were cutting noodles and eating them while serving to customers.
