    Chicken Cobb Wrap

I can't believe anyone would give this place anything but 5 stars. After hearing ads on the radio for years, I was excited to try it. The ambience is classic and comfy. The menu has everything from sushi to mac n cheese. The service was great with a slight mixup on our check that was easily fixed AND you get an Andes mint with your bill. It's the little things in life for me. Went for a ladies lunch on a Saturday afternoon. No reservation. We were seated immediately and were attended to quickly. Didn't get a cocktail but their specialty drink menu had lots of options. My diet coke was served just as fancy as a cocktail which made it taste really good. Lol I was trying to decide between chicken piccata and chicken cobb and wrap. Went with the wrap with sweet potato fries which were phenomenal IMO.

Ahi Tuna lunch salad. My favorite

In many ways, Cafe Escadrille is "old reliable." The food, service, cocktails, and cleanliness are consistently great. It has a slightly nostalgic old school feel to it but remains bright and lively. My favorite menu item is the ahi tuna salad with the dressing on the side. It's unlike any other dressing I've ever had -- a little sweet, slightly mustardy, but tropical and refreshing atop the mountain of greens, fruit, cucumbers and tuna. My fiance loves the lamb tips over Greek salad. We love to mix up our appetizer order among the many offerings. They have an extensive menu with something for everyone and lots of great daily specials. Service is polite, fast, and attentive. Great spot that is often busy and for good reason :)

    Great service at the bar

It has been an institution in the area for many years. On this Friday evening, the bar was busy. The service at the bar is attentive and timely. It had another round of people fill the bar as we sat there. The staff is just so good. While the dining area and bar may be becoming a little bit dated, the food is consistently good. The service is excellent. The drinks are typically a little bit generous, and very well crafted. Great selection at the bar. This evening, we had the jumbo shrimp cocktail and some drinks as we waited for friends.

Quality of food is not good. You walk in and see a good aesthetic but then the menu is disappointing and the restroom was not clean.

Great ambience but very slow service, and mediocre food. The clam chowder was potato chowder disguised as clam chowder.

It pains me to write this review, but it is crucial to shed light on the racism exhibited by the restaurant owner and Staff. During my visit, I couldn't help but notice the discriminatory behavior of the staff. Their blatant racist remarks and discriminatory actions towards certain customers including myself were shocking and completely unacceptable. It created an unwelcoming and uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone present. Aside from the racism, I must also comment on the overall quality of the establishment. The food was subpar, lacking flavor and freshness. The service was slow, and the staff seemed disinterested and disengaged, likely reflecting the toxic environment created by the owner. As a customer, I believe it is important to support inclusive and respectful businesses that value diversity. Unfortunately, this restaurant falls far from meeting these basic expectations. It is disheartening to witness such bigotry in this day and age. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME. this place should be closed down

I went here on one of those "Free Fun Fridays" hosted by the Highland Street Foundation. Ordinarily, it costs $7 for adult admission. I am accounting for this fact in the review because the other 364 days of the year are not free. I have no problem paying to get into a museum, but again, it is not a question of costs, but rather one of value. The museum is one small room, the hall with the main desk (with a few photos around), and a larger, much more open hall about the size of a large chapel, or really small church. Suffice it to say, unless you wish to carefully examine all the works, the museum can be viewed in under 45 minutes (and even that is pushing it) I am a fan of photography, and I would love to see the always changing displays in this museum. However, my concern returns to the fact that for a tiny room, a large room, and a few paintings in the area with ticket desk costs $7. However, if you are a die-hard photography fan, they have some books, and some really old camera equipment you can look at and purchase (I don't know if old cameras are for sale).
