    Thai Steak Salad
    Susan R.

Met for dinner with friends. Our server was super friendly and attentive and we were seated in a large booth in front of the kitchen. We shared an appetizer of risotto balls (aka arancini) Two of us ordered the scallop and corn risotto special. I got six scallops while my Fri only got five. While the dish was delicious, the risotto was luke warm and the scallops could have used a bit more char on them (we did not inform the server. It's really someone else's job to get this right the first time). Other friends had the Thai steak salad and the General Tsau's bowl. For dessert, I enjoyed a delicious carajillio cocktail.

    Spot on clam chowder

I came here in search of my first lobster roll. Waiter was on point by telling me right now is a bit out of season and if I want my first lobster roll to be a memorable experience, get it seaside. Pretty honest opinion. He recommended the clam chowder though and it was spot on. Probably in the top 5 clam chowders of my life. On to the Prime rib. It came out rare, just how I wanted it. Twice baked potato was smoking hot and a side of Au Jus and horseradish sauce. Here is the only negative comment. The horse radish sauce was more mayo than horseradish. Easily solved though, as my waiter brought me a side of real horseradish that cleared my sinuses, promoted hair growth and turned my eyes blue. Just the way I wanted it. I want horseradish that will cure cancer and they had it. I will be breathing clearly for a week! Great place, good service, and a decor that is classy without being over the top. I'll be back for sure.

Burtons is so reliable. I love the pomegranate martini, it's a perfect amount of sweetness. Also the burgers are so good every time, the patty is thick, there's plenty of toppings, and the fries are addicting as well. I also love the cauliflower appetizer and firecracker shrimp appetizer.

I really like this place. Lots of gluten free choices. Good quality. Excellent and attentive staff. Classy environment. I will be back.

Solid spot with good vibes and great service. Stopped by Burton's Bar & Grill in Burlington and had a really nice experience overall. The food was definitely solid - everything we ordered came out fresh and well-prepared. Prices were fair for the quality, which is always a plus. What really stood out, though, was the service. Staff was super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The place has a warm, cozy vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. Only minor downside: the drinks could've been a bit stronger - not a dealbreaker, but something to note if you're coming for cocktails. All in all, it was a different kind of experience (in a good way), and I'll definitely be back to try more dishes and maybe give the drink menu another go. Worth a visit if you're in the area!

Swanky elegance in Burlington! Despite being known for their steaks and other meatier options, I love Burton's for their delish veggie burger! Sweet potato fries are scrumptious. My friends and family rave about the steaks, burgers, and fish and chips. Service is always spot on and friendly. Desserts could be a bit better. Lovely alcoholic beverages.

Didn't get a chance to eat in person, got deliver for my father's birthday. Very high quality food, everyone enjoyed. I had Bread Service (fantastic bread, all dipping sauces great too) Salmon Romesco (with herbed rice and fingerling potatoes) - top tier, one of the better salmon meals I've ever had.

I had a fantastic late dinner at Burtons Grill & Bar after a long flight and many of the other restaurants in the area were closed. Beautiful bar area and good looking restaurant inside. I got the ribeye steak which was extremely good, flavorful, and correctly cooked along with a Cesar salad which was also good. Chris my waiter was prompt, efficient, and made my meal here a great experience. I plan to come back again before my flight home.

Saturday night on Mother's Day weekend is a challenging time to get a dinner reservation, but our party of four were willing to dine early and we scored a reservation at Burton's. Though we haven't eaten at this Burton's location before, we have enjoyed meals at other Burton's. It was quiet when we arrived, and a full house when we departed. Our waitress was Jenna, and the service was excellent throughout the meal. We ordered: * Bread Service $4.50 * Pasta Piccata with Chicken $25.00 * Mediterranean Chicken Risotto $27.50 * Short Rib Grilled Cheese with Parmesan Truffle Fries $22.95 * Ahi Tuna Bowl $25.00 The Bread Service was very good, a warm loaf of bread, easily divided into four sections with a pesto spread, herbed garlic butter, and olive tapenade. We were going to order a bread refill, but our dinners were served quickly, and they were Burton's typically large portions. The pasta was declared to be very tasty, but the chicken piccata was bland. The risotto was excellent and almost completely consumed. The grilled cheese sandwich was very tasty, so large the diner took home half of the sandwich. The fries were tasty but limp. My selection, the Ahi Tuna Bowl, was very good, tasty tuna with a spicy mayo dressing. Overall, a good dining experience and a solid four-star visit, the same rating offered by my fellow Yelpers. SYOY!

Eggs benny- I chose hash browns but fruit or greens were also options

The food court's always packed with people hanging out, so finding a seat is a hassle. I usually just take it to go. Parking's usually fine unless you show up midday on a weekend. Then good luck. Special Beef Soup- I actually got this one for my nephew, but he wasn't into it, so I tried it myself. Have to agree with him. The broth was light, but lacked flavor. The meats: sirloin, tripe, flank, meatballs were fine. Vietnamese Spring Rolls (3)- Fried with shredded carrots, bean noodles, ground pork and chicken. The shell had a nice crunch, but the filling was bland and underseasoned. Lemongrass Chicken Vermicelli- Comes with lettuce, pickled carrots and daikon, mint, fried onions, peanuts, vermicelli, and fish sauce. The fish sauce helps, but I wasn't a fan of the chicken marinade. Overall Service: I usually end up circling the food court and somehow wind up here, mostly because it's the only Vietnamese stall. The lady here is nice. Truthfully, the food's not that good. Last time, I ordered summer rolls and they forgot them. Didn't realize until I got home. Such a bummer.

We walked into a comfortable space with a relaxed vibe that never feels generic, the kind of spot where you can settle in for a meal or grab something quickly without the atmosphere working against you. The Vietnamese bowl is the order that brings everything together well. We tried it and the flavors were bright and balanced, leaning into the fresh herb and citrus notes that make Vietnamese inspired food work when the kitchen takes it seriously. The bowl format here gives you enough going on across the components that each bite shifts slightly, which kept the meal interesting from start to finish in a way that a simpler dish would not. The broader menu is worth exploring beyond a single visit. The shakshuka and acai bowl are both good, the smash burger salad is a surprisingly strong order for anyone who wants something more indulgent, and the vegan options are extensive and genuinely well executed rather than feeling like an afterthought. The smoothies are popular for good reason and the coffee holds up as well. Pricing runs on the higher side and the menu does not always list prices upfront on site, which is worth being aware of before you commit to a larger order. Service is generally attentive and fast, though it can vary by location and shift.

I made a reservation for a Saturday night at 7:00 for two. Note: I originally went to make the reservation online from their website but the availability was not good, so I called instead. Online it pretty much looked booked between 4:30 and 8:00 - I called and was able to get 7:00 without hesitation. So, make note to call if you don't see the time or range listed online. We were greeted as we entered and checked in with the host/hostess. They were friendly and polite and told us it would just be a few minutes. They brought us back to our table and had us seated shortly there after. Our waitress was great; she told us about the specials, checked in on us, and made sure everything was as expected. We ordered some bevs that were very tasty and had great presentations. Speaking of presentation, let's get on to the food. We ordered the Tomahawk, which if you don't know, is a MASSIVE piece of meat. It's a steak meant to serve two people - in reality, it serves way more than two. The presentation of the tomahawk steak plate alone was beautiful! It had a whole bunch of stuff (see pic). They bring it out for you to see, and then they take it back to the kitchen to slice. We ordered medium rare, and probably should have gone more medium but it was not too rare so it was fine. Now, at The Bancroft, it is an à la carte style meal, meaning you order sides separately and usually a few for the table. We had the carrots (one of the specials), roasted potatoes, and creamed spinach. Forgot to say when you order meat, you also get to pick two sauces - and before anything while you wait they bring you some rolls and butter. The rolls started us off on the right foot knowing the meal was going to be phenomenal. They were warm with some sea salt on top and baked to perfection. The steak was mouth watering, juicy, and flavorful. The sauces added a great touch, and the sides were wonderful. It is safe to say, we did not leave hungry! As mentioned, while tomahawk is said to serve two, we had a lot of leftovers so of course we got those packed up to go. They were very considerate with the packaging, putting items in different boxes that made sense. We unfortunately did not have room for dessert but I'm sure it would've been awesome. The Bancroft is definitely a higher scale restaurant so it is on the pricer side, but it is justified. The food tastes great, presentation is there, and service is excellent. It's a great place for special occasions, celebrations, or just because as long as you know what to expect... but with prices today, I'd rather pay this and have it be worth it than what a crappy meal is costing today!
