The reservation process at Burton's Grill & Bar in Burlington was easy and straightforward enabling our party of 4 to secure a table at 6PM. We were promptly greeted and brought to a table, and when I requested a more comfortable and spacious booth that was empty, that was accommodated. Thank you. The restaurant was 80% capacity and the bar area a little less so on a Sunday evening. We ordered two different burgers; the Maxx Burger and the Classic Cheeseburger. Both were cooked to a perfect medium rare with one coming with crispy fries and the other a side salad, per request. I enjoyed the fried onion crisps on the Maxx burger instead of slices of red onion. Two salads were also ordered; the tai steak and the southwest chicken. Both were served in very large bowls with plenty of fresh lettuce and other produce offerings. We also ordered the key lime pie for dessert with whip cream which was equally delicious. Our waitress was pleasant and eagerly attended to our drink refill orders. All in all a very good experience in a casual, comfortable atmosphere. read more

Solid spot with good vibes and great service. Stopped by Burton's Bar & Grill in Burlington and had a really nice experience overall. The food was definitely solid - everything we ordered came out fresh and well-prepared. Prices were fair for the quality, which is always a plus. What really stood out, though, was the service. Staff was super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The place has a warm, cozy vibe that made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal. Only minor downside: the drinks could've been a bit stronger - not a dealbreaker, but something to note if you're coming for cocktails. I got the ribeye steak which was extremely good, flavorful, and correctly cooked along with a Cesar salad which was also good. Though we haven't eaten at this Burton's location before, we have enjoyed meals at other Burton's. It was quiet when we arrived, and a full house when we departed. We were going to order a bread refill, but our dinners were served quickly, and they were Burton's typically large portions. The pasta was declared to be very tasty, but the chicken piccata was bland. The risotto was excellent and almost completely consumed. The grilled cheese sandwich was very tasty, so large the diner took home half of the sandwich. The fries were tasty but limp. My selection, the Ahi Tuna Bowl, was very good, tasty tuna with a spicy mayo dressing. Overall, a good dining experience and a solid four-star visit, the same rating offered by my fellow Yelpers. Haven't dined here in years. We made a weekend brunch reservation after yoga because the location was convenient. Can't believe we forgot about this place- such a great experience. The hostess was friendly- it wasn't busy so she let us select our table- outside, lounge, bar or dining room. We chose the lounge because it was empty. Server quickly arrived with a friendly greeting to take our drink order. Everything sounded great. I had the eggs Benedict and my friend had calamari- and of course we ordered bread service because- it's bread. Yum! Impressed by the bread service- loved the tapenade. We both enjoyed our meals- they food came out quickly and the server checked back on us several times. They asked if we needed a gluten free menu- we didn't but a great option for those who are GF. Couldn't eat it, dry and overcooked; and though the fries were okay, the Cole Slaw was equally dissatisfying (had an odd taste). This is my go to place to meet up with friends. The food is always fresh and delcious. I was disappointed with my last visit, though. I ordered a drink with the house liquor and the server had it made with a more expensive brand. Padding the check? It is a small thing but honestly it really just annoyed me. Have been to Burton's several times and have been pleased with the service, price and food.

Sat at the bar - it was a Friday afternoon so it was empty and plenty of seats. The bartender was very friendly and immediately assisted me. I had one of their cocktails which was fair. Then they had Downeast Cider available for a second drink. I had the cauliflower app for my meal and it was DELICIOUS. The building itself is very nice and will definitely come back to visit even if the prices are a little steeper than I'd like. read more

I'll start off my stating the reason for the 3 stars : Overall service was not great on the evening we dined. The food tasted great without doubt. I will give service a 1 star. Made a reservation and we arrived on time but still had to wait for a table despite available tables. Once we were seated the waitress came by to take our drink orders. She dint ask if we needed appetizers. She came back with the drinks and asked us for our main course orders. Two orders had missing items and she dint bother to check in to see if everything was good. She was keen on getting us the check and dint give us dessert options. Based on the bad and rushed service, it seemed like they were understaffed. The management should either manage staffing or cut down on the number of guests they can accommodate. The ambience of the restaurant was really good. There is a lot of parking available since the restaurant is in a mall. Will I return? : Unlikely. read more
