Espresso Martini: 4.5 stars, one of the best Spicy Margarita: 2 stars, no spicy detected Steak tips: 5 stars Mashed potatoes: 5 stars, very garlicky Creamy pesto pasta: 3 stars, it is pesto, but nothing I'd order again. They should really serve bread with it to finish up the sauce after I think this is a great place for a pleasant night out, or a date. I'll be back to try some different items, I've heard the falafel burger is great.

Had an enjoyable dinner here on the back deck. Vibe: Market that also has takeout and outdoor dining. The deck is abutting a pretty body of water Service: Excellent. Our server was polite and straight forward. Everything came out quickly. It was a bit chilly and our server offered us thick flannel blankets Food: Okay overall, didn't blow me a way but was decent. I got a burger that came with bacon jam and the burger was definitely a very processed patty but the rest of the toppings and the bun were really good. I opted for the rosemary fries and to be honest, not worth the extra $2 especially as the rosemary was scarce, that said the fries themselves were good. We got the guacamole appetizer which came with an actually good portion of guacamole and really crisp chips, this was definitely a 10 out of 10. Drinks: I got a strawberry margarita which was nothing to write home about, didn't come with a rim, somehow both very sweet and with a strong tequila taste, maybe not mixed well? Value: About average for dining out at American restaurants these days. Overall, while the dining experience was very nice, the food itself wasnt anything special but it hit the spot. Would consider coming back.

DOM'S STEAK TIP DINNER

We ordered from Turnpike Market for a working lunch today, and I tried the Dom's Steak Tip Plate, requesting the steak medium well. Overall, the bowl was delicious and well-balanced, and the portion size was decent. However, the steak doneness was inconsistent--some pieces were cooked perfectly, while others were much rarer and extremely chewy. Unfortunately, a few pieces were so tough that I had no choice but to swallow them whole. That said, the flavor was excellent, and the dish had a great combination of ingredients. Despite the texture issue, I'd be willing to give it another try because the overall taste was solid. Would love to see more consistency in the steak's cooking, but I can see why this plate would be a popular choice! Delivery was fine. Can't speak to the ambience as this was a delivery.

Respectable lakeside restaurant that's all deck, no restaurant, meaning EVERY seat is outdoors. Awnings help in high heat. It's kind of ambitious, though my take is their reach somewhat exceeds their grasp. Excellent beer selection. Excellent vegetarian selection. Wings: Plump, with decent juiciness, decent crispness, decent flavor (I chose hot honey or similar), but could use a little more of all three. Several flavors available and not all listed on the menu, so ask. Burger: Has all the right naming, a few different configurations with hifalutin add-ons. I went with the bacon jam option and the beef got lost in the condiments and oversized bun. Good overall sandwich, especially if you view burger toppings as important as the beef (I don't), but it didn't scratch the burger itch for me. Steak Tips: That they're Dom's is a huge plus. That they're cut so small and were cooked well past my ordered medium rare are huge negatives. I sent the overcooked batch back to give them a chance to make it right, and the re-do hit the right temp. Unfortunately, no charred crust like the best ones (read: Champion's in Peabody and Tuckaway Tavern in Raymond NH) have. Sides: Generally good. Service: Generally excellent. This place still has a lot of potential, so despite not hitting on a few things, I'm keeping up hope and will keep trying.

On a whim one night we decided to get their Miami cheese pizza. It's not a giant large but it's not a small pizza either. Like a medium size that would feed two people. It was really really good. I'm not exactly sure what Miami cheese means, but it just looked like a regular cheese pizza. The crust was crunchy and good, and it was not soggy. I would definitely order it again.

We were really excited to try this place as we have a new baby and the outdoor dining was beautiful. We arrived about 10 minutes before our friend and wanted to get our baby settled. There was a sign out front that stated their rules, which did NOT include that they won't seat full parties. So, we had to stand down the ramp with our 3 week old daughter and wait for our friend to arrive instead of them letting us sit and us perhaps ordering an app and a drink and adding money to the total bill. When our friend arrived, we go the same table they had already set up for us, so what was the point of making us wait? They also don't allow strollers and instead we had to balance our car seat on an upside down high chair, which really feels like a liability for them. Why didn't we leave you ask? It's hard to get babies resettled. So when we were finally able to order, we had to wait 10 minutes to be acknowledged by a server. We got the tater tots as an app, they were really delicious, highly recommend. I got the chicken caprese sandwich and asked for no red onion, it came with red onion anyway. Good thing I'm not allergic. My husband got the Dom's steak tip sub and said it was good but he wished they asked how he would like them cooked as they were severely overcooked. We had to ask twice for more water and waited about 20 minutes after we were done eating for the check and then another 10 for the server to take our card. Service was horrible and doesn't make up for the food so I don't think we'll be back.

Buttered lobster roll

Used the App to order takeout for lunch. Order was ready about 10 minutes after pickup time selected. Buttered Lobster roll M-T special had decent amount of lobster. Great lunch! (Note, Cole slaw just ok)

I stopped by the turnpike market on a bike ride, having heard they have a great takeout menu. What I enjoyed as surprised by was the deck out back, overlooking the lake, with table service. What an unexpected treat. I had the Cobb salad (gluten free) and an Arnold Palmer. Both were excellent, as was the service. It's like having a catered dinner on your back deck, up at the lake. Highly recommended.

A hidden gem on Nuttings Lake....well maybe it's not so hidden! We went a bit early as I had heard it gets crowded and there can be a wait. This place started as a market that was a bit run down when ownership transferred. It took a few years but it has become a great market, take out restaurant and in the warmer months an outdoor sit down restaurant. Everyone, and I mean everyone was welcoming and friendly. This is sometimes expected when dining out with a smiley 10 month old, but it wasn't just the baby they treated well, this was clearly the norm as every other table was treated the same way. You can always tell the service quality when dining out with a baby-is it the same after she has dropped half her food on the floor as when she arrived all smiles? I can assuredly say yes, it is the same here! Excellent service. The owner (I think he was the owner ?), and his wife (again not sure) were attentive to all tables and supportive to the staff. I could go into great detail about the food but this review would turn into a book! We got a few varied dishes with a start of rosemary fries. My son in law requested those first as the baby was getting hungry. They were delivered in minutes. Everything was delicious. I had the best falafel wrap I've ever eaten anywhere! My husband ordered for me and ordered a side of fries but the wrap was so huge I didn't need the fries! And the pizza was a huge hit for the kids. And the view of the lake was stunning!

The food was excellent, from appetizers to meal. Drinks were mixed perfectly. Server was so pleasant. It was a hot summer night but the breeze was just right. Will definitely go back

MEATBALL & RICOTTA pizza

Awesome outdoor dining in an unexpected spot right on the water. The parking lot is a bit small so watch out for that, but if you're able to get a spot it's worth it as the food is really good. The Dom's steak tips were awesome and the mashed potatoes were also excellent. There were many choices of pizza and the meatball ricotta was delicious. They have beer and wine offerings as well as canned cocktails, but as they do not have a full bar you can't order any ad hoc drinks that aren't on the menu. Highly recommend this spot!

Wow. This is the fastest I ever wrote a review after leaving somewhere. This was also the worst…read morerestaurant experience of my entire life, so the urgency is warranted. And I've eaten at probably over 250+ restaurants in my adult life. Why was it so bad? The salami on the antipasto salad was so rancid, my poor wife almost immediately vomited when she took a bite. And I mean she instantaneously gagged audibly and could barely maintain her composure. She felt embarrassed but when I smelled the salami I completely understood why she would react that way. It smelled like it was bad a week prior. We told the waitress, who took the food back. The kitchen staff had informed her they checked the salami and it was fine. My wife works in food service and said this salami was rancid. I have no such experience and could tell by scent and sight that this was badly spoiled. It was yellowish in some areas. I wanted to leave then, even though we had an entree on the way. I took one look around at the dated, cheap decor, the nasty blinds caked with dust and food particles, and thought to myself: this is one of those places from Kitchen Nightmares, where Gordon Ramsay would pop out, shut the place down, then go stick is hand in some slop in the back. A supervisor comes out and explains that they aren't saying we are wrong, but that the salami they checked was okay. That the portion we received might have been spoiled, but they assure me the rest isn't. C'mon. If the kitchen staff couldn't admit or tell this was revolting, then what the hell else were they going to serve me? I soon found out. We got the chicken francaise which is a cutlet dredged in egg and tossed in flour. It should be like a pan-seared cutlet with a slight coating. No, what we were served was a chicken cutlet inside an omelette. Swear to god. There was visible egg scramble layered on top and the bottom of the chicken. I was absolutely starving so I had a couple of bites. I commented on how it was like an omelette and my wife responded "that's what it is like!" And then commented on the egg smell. This was the grossest texture you could imagine. Our waitress had just come over to ask how our food was. We asked her to take it away and said it was the worst meal of our lives. I felt terrible for her. She felt so bad and was clearly nervous. We told her not to be sorry repeatedly as it wasn't her fault. It was the kitchen. They comped all the food, which we didn't really eat, but made us pay for our cocktails. Fine. Although considering the fact they ruined our night and we left hungry, they really should have comped those too. It was that bad. I had 7:45PM reservations. As I type this it is 9:14PM. I ordered DoorDash over 15 mins ago as you can see by the pics I have provided. All of this tonight that happened is true and I sincerely hope people read this and think twice about going there. I read another review that said it was the best food of their life. I joked that's because they died immediately after. This food was disgusting, low quality, and the place is a dump.

Cute local Italian restaurant. The Rhode Island Calamari was crispy with peppers and the side mayo…read morewas ok. The Eggplant Rotini was very good and crispy with ricotta in the middle. I then ordered the chicken parm. Flattened to the point where I could taste if it was chicken or veal. I like to cut into a moist chicken breast, this was not. The sauce had no spices rather bland and the side meatball was very dense, adding a panade would make the meatballs lighter. The side homemade tagliatelle that I paid an extra $5 for was too firm and chewy. Overall Not worth a drive down from NH from a recommendation from PG but to meetup with friends it was a pleasant dinner.
