The issues have been resolved after my last post. The food is great and I have had no thing but good meals from Liberty Bell!

Pizza, burger, chicken sandwich, and fries all fine. Good in a pinch, wouldn't go out of our way for it.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza with banana peppers, and it hit the spot--perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice and crunch. The flavor combo was great, and the crust had a nice chew without being too heavy. Inside, the place has a cute and cozy vibe. The walls are decorated with a fun, local feel, and there's plenty of space to sit and relax while you eat. Everything looked clean and well-kept, which I always appreciate. Liberty Bell is a chain that definitely gives me "pizza place" vibes and yet I always forget it kind of is. Regardless, I never usually get pizza here. I'm something of a chicken fanatic and for a time my friends and I would frequent this location for food doing some work next door. It is conveniently located off of Route 3A in Billerica Center and is an easy stop for anyone. As I mentioned I'm very much a chicken guy so typically I'll get their boneless chicken fingers with fries and onion rings with a side of buffalo sauce. Their buffalo sauce is one I usually imagine from the 99 Restaurant, but it has a distinct taste like most sauces from pizza places have I'm not sure what it is. I'm getting off track here. The chicken, rings, and fries are all great, however, they are quite greasy at times. I'm talking more greasy than your average McDonald's foods. You can tell this stuff is fresh from the friers, but in a way that's a good thing isn't it? Chase the grease with a healthy amount of water and you'll be fine- though I don't think that should have to be the case. Staff have always been quick, friendly, and helpful in my experienced here. I mostly order pickup and they are pretty smooth with that. Eating in a few times they have readily available utensils and such. Tables are usually clean. read more

My favorite place for pizza at this time. The only issue was the wait for it when I ordered ahead. I waited a lot longer than expected. The restaurant is very clean and the food is always good. Would definitely recommend it but they can do better with timing. FYI there is a Brazilian menu. Their pizza dough isn't too thick or too thin where it flops over and goes everywhere. read more

Still does not disappoint. If you want a super casual place for a good roast beast, this is the place to go. It's a hole in the wall but clean. The boys always get the Super Beef, but I prefer their fish and chips. Tried the steak tips recently. It was very decent, as good as some more frou frou ale houses. read more

Gone way downhill. Food and service. People are almost rude and the food leaves a lot to be desired now. Last few times we have gone the beef has been dry, fries undercooked and the prices have gone up Too much considering the quality. Will be taking a long break from here. This has got to be the worst roast beef sandwich I've ever tasted. The meat was dry, lacked flavor and seasonings, and even the sauce couldn't salvage it. Despite adding lettuce, tomato, and onions, the tomato was disappointingly mushy. The roast beef sandwich at Bedford House of Roast Beef is incomparably superior. I am SO SAD about liberty bell, I used to be liberty bells HYPE girl, but hype girl no longer. After a long day of dreaming about a chicken salad club, the fam ordered food for pickup. We got three club sandwiches, an individual calzone and a small side of onion rings. We opened the clubs to see entirely untoasted sandwiches - sad, but fine. Then we see the bread cut in half but none of the meat, tomatoes, etc. were... I took my bottom floppy piece of bread off to attempt to cut and reorganize everything and there sat blobs of mayo - is it tough to spread it when you're making a sandwich? Maybe. And then to twist the knife that is already in my back, no bacon on two out of the three clubs :( SIGH. We want the bacon! I will say my dad said he highly enjoyed his steak 'n cheese calzone - happy for him. It did look good. $60 not well spent. RIP to our spot which has hit the bottom of the hill. read more

Went for lunch with a friend. They got chix parm on pasta and I got the Boston burger and some homemade chips. The place was empty and it took 30 minutes for the food to arrive. My burger was 10 minutes later than his pasta. My burger was INEDIBLE. THE BUN WAS BURNED MEAT AS TOUGH AS HOCKEY PUCKS AND BURNED For $17 !!! Their customer service is absolutely terrible. I ordered from them last night and when I got there I checked with the guy to make sure my sauce was in the bag, I was told it was. When I got home and opened the bag turns out there is no sauce. I called and the girl on the phone basically told me I was lying and when I asked to speak to a manager I was told they left awhile ago, I was told a manager would call me today.. 5pm hits and still no call. This is the Roast Beef from Liberty Bell Billerica. When I say roast beef, I'm being very generous. I ordered rare with extra sauce. This is well done scraps they picked up and put on a bun. Grey, dry, tasteless garbage. I took one bite of this dry tasteless crap , spit it out and promptly threw it in the trash. To be honest, no amount of sauce could rescue what is probably the worst toast beef sandwich in the state. Also got a seafood platter. Maybe 4 clams, a few scallops and a piece of some kind of fish that was thinner than the shoe leather on the sole of your shoe. Is fish supposed to be chewey? French fries where soggy, and i mean pick one up and limp. Same with the rings. 55 dollars for garbage you wouldn't even feed your dog. Stay away! We came here for a quick option as the restaurant next door had a wait. We got a pizza with half cheese and meat lovers. The dough was a more bready type. My husband and daughter enjoyed the clam chowder. We also had chicken kabob salad. The salad was a little wet but the chicken on top was flavorful. Seem like your standard local pizza/sub shop. The Liberty Bell is a great place for lunch. Though it's a bit more expensive, most of their items are big enough to be lunch & dinner. Good sized portions of fish, rings and fries and a well stuffed wrap. You don't need a scale and calculator to make sure you get your money's worth here. I have gone to Liberty a few times before with each time ending with me saying "Never Again!" Well tonight 8/24/22 is the final straw. Liberty has cemented in me that the food up in this area just plain $ V ( k's! and they are one of the worst culprits up here. It took them well over an hour to deliver, They did not give me extra sauce on my super beef that they then charged me extra for, The onion roll was old, had a very bad taste to it, it was hard and dry and crumbled apart when I grabbed the sandwich (I'm shocked I didn't see green mold growing on it, although I'm sure that was just a few hours away) I ended up taking all the beef out and putting it on my own bread. My wife's tuna was lacking tuna on one side of her sandwich. It looked like someone just plopped the tuna in shut the roll and sent it off! Ehn. Not impressed. Hopefully it was just the sandwich I got in which I'll come back here and update my review but until then, here we go. I got the roast beef sandwich since it's included in their name and I assumed it would be their specialty. Hmmmm didn't impress at all. The roast beef was lacking in flavor so thank goodness I had them add bacon. The lettuce was shredded instead of the leaf which would have added needed crunch. Also, there's an unneeded 3rd slice of bread in the sandwich which adds way more bread than is needed. I will give them credit for the large amount of roast beef that they included. Maybe add some salt or a sauce...? Comes with a mountain of fries which are nothing special about their flavor. Huge menu so I'll give them another try. read more

Not sure what all the complaints are. My boyfriend stopped in last week and got me a huge greek salad with grilled chicken and it was absolutely delicious. He got a roast beef sandwich with a side of onion rings and fries and loved it, too. I did not personally go in..I cannot comment on what the people look like..However, I could care less if the person who is making my salad has teeth or not..as long as she's clean and doesn't have her hair in my food, I'm all set. read more

Food is still consistently good. On occasion, I'll order extra dressing only to not have it actually included in the order. I order for my office/warehouse and we typically eat there more than once a week., especially on weekends during overtime. The same person picks up the order all the time. Last time this individual picked up our order, one of the cashiers made a sarcastic comment pertaining to the fact that we place orders there a lot.
