The garlic broccoli was NOT edible--it tasted like vinegar... Food was decent, portions are good. However, both the website and the menus are out of date. Went with a group today and was told they no longer serve sushi, sashimi, or bento boxes. Most of the flip side of the lunch menu is therefore out of date. This really needs to be fixed. (They do still have tempura, though.) This isn't going to be my new go to for Chinese food, but if you are in this part of town and want Chinese, it's fine. read more

Place is a hit or miss. Last time I came here it was great but this time, it was all subpar. My sesame chicken was tough as if it had been fried a while ago and was just sitting in a warmer. Zero stars!!I have been going to this restaurant since they started. My husband and I always order hunan shrimp combo. Tonight it was just me so only ordered 1 hunan shrimp. Went to pick it up and they said I ordered hunan beef! I have never ever ordered beef before! They said I did and were not going to fix the order! This is very poor customer service. He said it was verified which is a lie! I talked with a girl there who apparently can't hear! I will never ever go there again. Also this is the first bad review I have ever given! Cafe China is one of my favorite Chinese places in town. Whether I am getting take out or dining in with a meal or small plates the food is always delicious. The portions are also quite generous and the prices are very fair. They do quite a bit of lunch business as they are quick and so they are a little crowded then. As for the dinner hours they do quite a bit in take out orders.The service has always been great, they recognize me as I am there pretty often. The food always made fresh to order and tonight I found out that their spring rolls are hand made there every few days. read more

I got crab rangoons and chicken dumplings and I know that those are bad items to review but I never knew that something as simple as that could be messed up :( There were 6 of each and I only ate one and threw it away it was very bad and pricey. read more

I've hesitated to go here due to its lackluster reviews but recently have been craving some good general Tsos and have not been impressed with the couple of other places in Dublin. So thought we would give this place a try and was pleasantly surprised. The crab Rangoon's were excellent. Filled nicely and tasty with small pieces of crab. General Tsos was very good, my palate was content. Also ordered the chicken fried rice and there was a lot of cubes white chicken pieces throughout the dish. My wife got a vegetarian dish with tofu and said she felt like it was made very fresh. We may have found our go to Chinese restaurant. read more

I've been in to Cafe China a few times in the past few months and I must say that, although not the best Chinese/Japanese I've ever had, it is quite satisfying. The wonton soup is better than many of the restaurants I've been to lately and their sushi is well made (Sundays are 20% off sushi, take advantage). Their mushu chicken is good and the portions of the main dishes are always large enough that you can have them for lunch the next day. It is a cute family run restaurant so you will always see their children running around and coming to greet you. The price is right, and it is practically next door so I'll continue coming here to grab food on movie nights. read more

I decided to try this place since I have been looking for another decent option for quality Chinese food instead of the local strip mall take-out. I was surprised by the decor and ambiance of this place. It looked new and had a comfortable feel to the place. The service was friendly and quick. The food was a pleasant surprise. We ordered Mala Wontons for an app. They were reasonable priced at $3 and were tasty. The sauce was a little heavy. I ordered the Hunan Triple Delight which cam with about 6 large shrimp along with chicken and beef. I rarely order beef at Chinese places because I have found it to be usually suspect, this was tender and flavorful. The large shrimp were perfect. The plate was large and left me some to take home. My wife ordered the Kung Po Chicken which she was pleased with. Each of our entree's said spicy which I did not think they were. But, I usually order the spiciest dishes at Indian and Thai so my spicy index isn't the best to compare with others. I like the need of water after a few bites. The price was under $30 which is pretty good but expensive compared to your local Chinese Lunch Take-out. I may go again if I am in the area but won't drive 15 minutes just to go there like I did today. My local strip mall Chinese will usually give me my Chinese fix for less gas and money. read more

I called on New Year's Eve to place an order for take out. I was told it would be 40 minutes. I was then told it would be another 25 minutes once I arrived in the parking lot. 20 minutes later I called and was told it would be another 30 minutes. The order was placed at 5:39pm and was ready at 7:24!!! I was hung up on repeatedly when I tried to find out what was going on, and then they wouldn't answer the phone when I tried calling to cancel. I know it's a holiday and they were busy, but they could have told me that up front and not let me freeze in the parking lot for over an hour! I ordered take out here and rate this highly mainly for the fact the ingredients were so fresh. Fresh crunchy out of the garden cabbage could be tasted in the egg rolls. The dipping sauce for the egg rolls was by all accounts hand made. Definitely not out of the plastics package. The broccoli in the schezwan chicken was crisp and delightful. I was truly refreshing to actually taste the fresh ingredients of the meal and not have them hidden behind a over powerful sauce. I will be frequenting more often. I asked for my dish (General Tso's) to be prepared spicy and the waitress brought me hot oil. :/ I would've preferred that the dish be cooked with additional peppers instead of artificially turning up the heat with the hot oil. Oh well.... Chicken was fresh white meat; very tender and not tough. Sauce was good; a bit sweet, and without any spice. Overall a decent lunch experience, but would not be my first choice. Went here for a work lunch. They had a large selection as one would expect at a Chinese restaurant. The food was good, but nothing special. What was fantastic was how quickly our food was prepared. The lunch specials all came with a side of soup which was nice. I got the hot and sour soup and the combo lo mein. Not sure I'll go back unless I am craving Chinese and need it quick. When we arrived the waitress had no idea what we were talking about, and it did not look like Crescent had ever moved here. Since we were already at the restaurant, we decided to order there. The chicken and rice were amazing, nothing short of perfect dishes. The egg rolls are great. The crab rangoon was alright, could've used a bit more crab and less cheese. Our Friday night go to for "carryout and a movie" on lazy winter weekends. It's pretty cheap and pretty good. Portions are huge. My husband who gorges himself at every meal usually gets 2 large meals from it. Ive visited this place a few times cause its the only Chinese restaurant in the area near my old office. Its a small place with good service during lunch. The food comes out quick so if you going during your hour lunch, you should be fine. The food is ok, nothing to write home about.
