Surprisingly this is my favorite go to place for its Tonkotsu Ramen. The restaurant is in a nondescript location at Carriage Place Plaza off Bethel road. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and very clean. Their ramen itself is worth the price of admission. The noodles are tasty and are perfectly cooked to be just a little al dente. The soup is flavorful and not salty as in many other ramen restaurants. The bowl comes with a generous helping of condiments but the real star of the show is the char siu pork! So much flavor and the meat melts in your mouth! Unfortunately the many times I've gone to enjoy the ramen there, the restaurant's been relatively empty. If you love ramen, do yourself a favor and visit the Yu Nan Bridge Noodle restaurant and support this wonderful little establishment. read more

Really enjoyed my delicious meal from here the other week. Loved the variety of the menu and the restaurant was so cute and cozy. We had amazing service and didn't have to wait long. Our favorites were the beef stir fry noodles and the Dan Dan noodles and we finished with some tasty mochi doughnuts. My only note is that the spicy potato chips are a thin stack of boiled potato slices with cumin seasoning and are not fried as we were surprised when they came out. Mark is a good explorer when it comes to finding interesting restaurants. This time, Kung Fu Noodle near Bethel and Godown got the nod. I was very impressed with the Chicken Lo Mein. It's an authentic Chinese style with thicker, chewy noodles, onion, cabbage, zucchini and tomato in a rich savory sauce. Mark got the Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup and he was very impressed with the flavors and textures. Their price to portion ratio is very good. Holy cow. I've heard good things about this, but it's just not on my usual routes. I missed out on the Japanese place that was in this spot before, and was determined not to miss this one. Met Mike G. for lunch. It is a small place, 8-10 tables, set up for Korean BBQ or hotpot it seems. Maybe those are left over from previous occupants? Anyway, small but interesting menu. They make their noodles so I had to get something with those. I ended up with the item at the top of their menu, beef Lanzhou noodle soup. Mike got stir-fried noodles with chicken. That sounded pretty plain to me. But when the lady brought our dishes out, after not very long, wow: they both looked, and smelled, amazing. His noodles were a little different than mine, and were in a good sauce with chunks of chicken. I tried a bite and wow. I was jealous. Mine was great too, though. The noodles were a little chewy and had some pull, and worked so well with the rich broth and thin tender beef. Plus there were a fair number of veggies in the broth. Excellent. Hard to eat gracefully, but the tables beside us had a lot of slurping going on so I didn't feel embarrassed. The portions were big. We both had essentially a full meal's worth left over. (The noodles didn't reheat well; they lost some elasticity. So try to finish them there...) Lots of other things on the menu I'd like to try. The place is nicely decorated. We were looking for a new place to go that offered Asian noodles. We walked in and it felt so clean and welcoming. Once we were seated, the waitress was so helpful and helping us decide what to order according to the things we like. She then told us that every noodle dish was hand pulledand we got super excited! Hand stretched noodles are one of my favorite things to eat in the winter and the noodle soup was perfect for the cold weather. The beef noodle soup came with lots of bok choy and scallions in the warm broth, but I remember there being more carrots in the one at the Dayton location. It was still good though and the portion of noodles was large. Since the broth is on the blander side, I also enjoyed eating it with the chili oil sauce, which added a nice kick. The Dan Dan noodles were so flavorful and surprised me with how good it was. The minced meat and sauce created the perfect creamy texture mixed with the noodles. The Chinese hamburger was an interesting dish. It was an English muffin type of bread, filled with what looked like pulled pork and green peppers. It wasn't spicy and the flavor was savory with a slight crunch from the pepper. It was packed with meat, so I got pretty full just eating this! My friend who travels frequently to Asia brought me to this spot. I'm in the Bethel road area often but I have never noticed this restaurant before. It's in a strip mall, but the indoors is not what I expected based on the name and location. It's really nicely decorated and looks more upscale than you'd expect. We came an hour before close but service was quick and good. I'm gluten intolerant and vegetarian and the waiter let me know there are gluten free noodles available (the menu doesn't indicate this) and he custom created my meal with gf noodles, tofu, bok Choy and the spicy dan dan sauce, which was the right amount of spicy (I have a pretty high tolerance) and great flavor. My friend ordered the pork stomach appetizer and normal Dan Dan noodle option. We also got an unfiltered sake and he got an Asian beer. They are known for their hand stretched noodles similar to Jiu Thai and specialize in Northern Chinese cuisine They are right by Tea Moji. My friends and I focused only on the appetizer and noodle sections this time. They had tried the one in Dayton before and really liked it, so they were looking forward to this Columbus location. The restaurant offers different kinds of cold dishes and skewers, as well as a variety of noodles--either with soup or stir-fried. We ordered two different kinds of soup noodles and one cold noodle dish. The soup noodle portions were big, and both soup broths were tasty, but some of the noodles were clumped together. The steamed cold noodle was refreshing, but I wished it had more flavors in it. For certain noodle options, you get to pick either Lo mein or hand-pulled noodles. Apparently, for hand-pulled noodles, you can select either thin or wide. They didn't ask me about my preference, but I wish I knew so I could've chosen wide noodles instead. During the winter, we came almost every Saturday after Pickleball with friends. It quickly became a tradition and something we always looked forward to. So. This place opened over the weekend on Godown at Bethel to little fanfare. Did a takeaway. If you're not into reading a somewhat negative review, scroll away now. I had super high hopes, living 2 mins off Godown and wasn't fond of YF Chinese, its predecessor nor of the BBQ place before that. I lend a grain for new places to work the kinks out. And expect a minor issue perhaps. Kung Fu noodle isn't new really. Its been open near Dayton for a good while. So they should know what they are doing eh? Ordered Fried Pork and Jalapeño over fresh hand pulled noodles extra spicy. What i got was breaded pork with mushy commercial lo mein noodles in a bland !extremely! underseasoned watery greasy soup. The fried breaded pork got soggy real quick which tbh became very unappetizing. Thankfully i sprung for two tiny cups of pickled vegetables to add something to the mess. Meh 3/10. Ordered homemade steamed dumplings. Appearance, they looked great. But no flavor! The black vinegar didn't help much. I don't know if the chef is afraid to add spices or salt even. I mean, they could be very delicious if they would work out a better recipe. 6/10. Ordered shrimp crisps, what I assumed were the rainbow prawn chips. Not included in my bag. I also ordered a pint of plain broth. Because I didn't think I was getting a soup as my main. Soup was OK, watery and oily. I'll probably use it for something else. Initial impression? Dud.
