The food was pretty good. Broth was very tasty. Easy to park and service was nice. The whole place looked new and the restroom was very clean.

Very delicious noodles. I got the maocai spicy broth which is mala broth. It was very good! There are variety of food there. I tried build your own noodles which you choose broth, noodles, protein and extra toppings you want. The service was also great. A girl at cashier was nice and helpful explaining menus. I'll go back to try some else.

I arrived at noon and the parking lot was already pretty full for this very unassuming Chinese…read morerestaurant from the outside. There is plenty of free parking which is nice. When I walked in the atmosphere was great, I could smell good food and heard conversations. There's a large area with large round tables to right and to the left are booths and almost all of them were full. The menu was a mix of Americanized Chinese, traditional Chinese and included Dim Sum as well. There were a number of dishes we didn't know much about and there were dishes being enjoyed by other customers that looked delicious. The wait staff was more than happy to explain the dishes and/or show us on the menu what someone was eating. They took very good care of us and shared the tasks of bringing our food, filling water, and just checking in. Now the food. The food came out very quickly! We all received a well filled bowl of rice. First out was the string beans, perfectly cooked, not droopy, and the flavors of garlic and hot peppers. Even though the peppers were there the heat was not overpowering at all. Next was the shredded pork with garlic sauce. The textures of the pork and bamboo shoots were a nice contrast and the sauce was perfectly balanced and craveable. The special grilled lamb, I was told, was some of the best in the city. It was tender and well spiced. Even when he said he was full he just couldn't stop eating it. For the dim sum order we got the shrimp dumplings, soup dumplings, scallion pancake, and sesame balls and they brought a soy sauce and a chili oil with them. The shrimp dumplings were tender but the dough was pretty sticky. I think this is normal and they were tasty with some of the oil on them. The scallion pancakes were very thin and gummy, this is the only thing we ordered that I would not get again. The soup dumplings were very small but packed a lot of flavor. The dough did stick together a bit so unfortunately some of the soup did leak out. The sesame balls were the hit and we're just the right amount of sweetness that we considered them desert. They were large, at least 2" in size, with a wonderful sesame seed covered exterior and a soft, sweet center. Chuan Jiang Hao Zi is a wonderful somewhat hidden gem. If you want traditional Chinese cuisine including all the different offal they have it and I would totally try it here over anyone else if I was brave enough. Portions were a good size for the price. I highly recommend checking them out!

I had the Kung Pao Chicken & it was by far the best I'd ever eaten. So many layers of flavor & heat. (a bit spicy for me, but I struggled through & loved every bite) Will definitely be back to explore some of the more "exotic" dishes on the menu. (Wasn't feeling to adventurous this trip) The restaurant was well decorated & the staff took great care of us. (saw a large selection of dumplings at this place too.....definitely be back to try those)

Fukuryu is the first ramen place I've tried that lets you customize so many of my favorite extras--mushrooms, fish cakes, and egg. You can also choose your spice level; I went with half chili , and it was perfect for me. Spicy enough to leave a pleasant lingering heat without being overwhelming. I'm glad I read previous reviews because they definitely deliver on the heat they promise. The only downside was that the pork wasn't as tender as the chashu I'm used to in ramen. That said, the rest of the ingredients and the noodles were well-prepared, with great flavor and texture. I would definitely order Fukuryu ramen again.

The broth had so much flavor and the spicy level 2 was perfectfor me, it actually had a kick without being overwhelming. I also tried the panko chicken which was really crispy and paired well with the ramen. The vibe of the place is also great with all the lamps, flags, and decor. The servers were incredibly sweet and made the whole visit even better. They also have a happy hour menu with some great options at a discounted price, so it is definitely worth checking out. Since it is so close to where I live and work, I will definitely be going back again.

It's been a little while since my last Chilispot visit and I'm happy to report it's just as good!…read more We came on a Friday early dinner and it wasn't busy at all - zero wait to be seated and very quiet. We were greeted and seated quickly and service was very friendly. As we were hungry, we took a mi Ute to decide what to order. We had planned on storm fish, but made a last minute decision to Sichuan sliced beef (we loveeee a numbing pepper!) with starts of egg roll and spicy wontons. Seriously those wontons are one of the best things in the whole city. They're SO good I could eat a few orders of those alone and be happy. Egg rolls are nice, but just a simple egg roll. Nicely crispy and tasty with the spicy mustard. The Sichuan sliced beef was the perfect thing for a chilly rainy dinner. We love spicy so I'm a bad judge of heat level, but this is spicy but a numbing spicy. Lovely spooned over steamed rice. The cabbage and bean sprouts were my favorite bits in this dish because they added a crunch. Might ask for extra next time!

There is plenty of lights in order to see the extra large menu that looks more like a coloring book. The women who took our order had problems understanding English from the looks of it. One person at my table wanted to exchange rice for noodles but she didn't seem to understand. The food was very good but a bit expensive but worth it. Because they give you plenty. We had to take some home with us. I would go back to Chilispot they did a great job in service and in taste.

We were the only patrons at this time. With it being our first time, we took awhile to go thru the menu. So many choices to choose from and so many appealing entrees. We ended up getting the diving chicken and braised lamb stretch noodle accompanied by some chicken wings to try. My diving chicken blew my socks off. It was beautifully presented, aromatic, and warm. It was accompanied by white rice. With Plenty of tasty marinated chicken, bok choy, green onions and bean sprouts in a semi spicy broth. Super fulfilling and a nice portion. I shared my bowl with a hungry 6 year old and still had leftovers! Fiance got the braised lamb and stretch noodles, he admitted he had no clue what he was getting or what to expect. Nevertheless he received a nice hearty bowl of lamb and hand stretch noodle in a nice and hot lamb broth. Also accompanied by white rice. He finished majority of his bowl only leaving some broth behind. We both tried each others and both agreed on the diving chicken having a better taste but I think it's because it's spicier. The chicken wings were on the dry side but they were still tasty and completely devoured. Service was standard and immediate. I didn't see a kids menu. Buy we Really enjoyed the food. Can't wait to try more!!
