As Van and some others said: fast, cheap, friendly, and decent but not amazing food. I needed to grab a quick lunch while up this way, and swung in hoping for the best. And left satisfied. A typical strip mall Chinese place, plus a few extras. The usual menu items, but also quite a few Thai dishes and some good specials. I had the beef with string beans, a lunch special. Decent, slightly tough beef, fresh green beans, a mild brown sauce, white rice. Big portion, and I enjoyed it. Added a pork egg roll- very thin, though long, so the volume was the same as a normal one. Pretty darn good. Canned pop, flimsy plasticware. All that for less than $10. The place is small, but clean and kept in shape. The owners are friendly. It's nothing spectacular, but cheap and fast will get you a long way, and the bonus of some interesting menu items means I will keep this in mind for future lunches. read more

Been to every Chinese Restaurant inbetween and there's two Chinese Restaurants that standout in a class of their own and this is one. This was my second time here and both times it was delicious. Very inviting, and nearly perfectly clean. The service was fast and friendly, we ordered the pepper steak and the sesame chicken as well as wonton soup. Everything was so flavorful so much more than most Asian places. General Tso Chicken I didn't like this at all. It was so sweet. I like mine hot and spicy. The chicken was dried out. The rice was ok but again too sweet. I've never seen egg rolls so thin, like the size of a cigar. Hardly any filling and not crispy but tough. All in all a waste of $16. Will try somewhere else next time I want Chinese. read more

This is our favorite Gahanna area Chinese food to go option for a few reasons. The owner is very friendly, food is prepared quickly, portions are decent and they use fresh vegetables. A lot of stir fry places use frozen or processed veggies but they use the real deal. Additionally, the egg rolls are nice and thin so they get a good crisp. I also like that they serve to go orders in a solid plastic container so I can reuse it for other things. Overall, a good option for basic Chinese food. read more

Tried for the diary time. Good to know tis is only 5 minutes from the new house. Egg foo young, the greatest of all Chinese/American comfort foods is totally legit, among the best I've ever had! I had the house version which was loaded with goodies. Also picked up a chicken with cashews. Really good, a little different than some versions but good. It was the small which was, uh...not small. Will absolutely be returning. Update- We returned the day before Thanksgiving and got food to feed 20 people. All of the food was delicious and fresh. Panda Wok is now our go to for Chinese take out. Service- A+ I like to support family owned businesses and the young girl who runs the register is a pleasure to interact with. The cook always gets my order correct and caters to my special requests. Food- A+ I have tried several different dishes and have been completely satisfied with each one. All the sauces are flavorful. I like that I can add spice to my meal. Decided to try them because they were new on GrubHub in the area where I work and I was certainly pleased with the whole experience. My order was 100% correct and tasted really good. I ordered their wings, a pint of eggdrop soup and pork Pad Thai. The portions are good sized and well prepared. Definitely going into my rotation for lunch. My son loves the wonton soup, my wife really likes every shrimp dish, my daughter likes the chow mein noodles, and I like just about everything. They have a different special available every day of the week, and their lunch and dinner specials are a steal of a deal. The food is fresh, delicious, and prepared wonderfully. This is a most dependable place on our take-out list when visiting Gahanna. The family run operation tries every time to make this a memorable meal for our hungry family. The dishes are well prepared, use fresh ingredients, and almost always include some fried donut balls. You can dine in at a few tables if you want, but bringing it home suits us. We got the house pad thai, Hunan triple delight, sugar biscuits (just Chinese donuts), hot sour soup, pork wonton soup, and two egg rolls. First off, don't judge me, we were super f'n hungry and we slammed that ish hard. Ok let's review the food: Hot and sour soup: BAD. tastes sweet, nothing like mark pi's, no thin strips of shiitake mushrooms, regular white mushrooms sliced instead. Didn't like the flavor or texture Baes Pork Wonton soup: good! Wonton meat needed a bit more flavor and was a bit dry , weird bc it's in soup right, but it's a thing that happens. Would eat again Now to the important stuff Hunan triple delight: HELL YES. THAT JUMBO SHRIMP IS EVERYTHING. They cooked it perfectly. It was jumbo af. And it had great flavor. The sauce was good. The white rice was made well. Not mushy. Pad Thai: I took two bites before my bf stole it and inhaled it. I really liked it. Shrimp weren't rubbery, which is impressive, bc the shrimp is overcooked in every Chinese place ever. Sugar donuts! YES! only disappointment that they don't add cinnamon with the sugar nor do they use any honey or syrup. They were perfectly fried and then packed in sugar..which is fine.. But they could really take it a step higher with a few added spices. I'd still eat this until I got diabetes tho. Anyway that's my review. No idea why this place has 4 stars, only reason I tried it. Worst Chinese food I've ever had. Batter on the shrimp was undercooked and soggy, threw it away after my first bite. Rice was either extremely old or instant, not sure which is worse. Chicken was at least cooked but since the sweet and sour sauce tastes like it was made at Speedway, I just fed the rest to my dog. The egg rolls and spring rolls were literally just little thin rolled pieces of dough, we could not see or taste anything inside them. Literally thinner than your fingers. If your looking for cheap food please save yourself the salmonella and go to McDonalds or Taco Bell. That's what I ended up doing anyway. read more

I didn't actually get to see the inside of this place, my boyfriend brought me home some for dinner and i have to say i was not impressed! I know good Chinese food when i taste it and i just was not diggin it. I had the general tso chicken and didn't even want to eat it. But on a brighter note my boyfriends shrimp lo mien was pretty good, i would eat that again. They also have sushi which was a bit odd. We tried a roll and also was not impressed. (Even online) The little girl who helps out sometimes is better than 90% of the cashiers in the country. Good general tsos, garlic chicken, cashew chicken, Lo mein, egg rolls.
