    Sizzling Beef

The menu is in Chinese so it checks out, and my parents and their friends come in hoards so must be good. My parents ordered in Chinese, not totally clear on what some of the dishes we ordered are called in English. The whole fish needed to be ordered in advance, a steamed flounder and it was delicious. The Thai spicy wings had great flavor and the salt and pepper ribs are some of the best! The sizzling beef and daikon was delicious, I'm not sure I can name a favorite dish of the night. The spicy pork and veggies were VERY spicy, beware. Everything was amazing, authentic and I highly recommend. The dining room isn't big but most customers were getting take out, no frills on the inside but the food is worth it!

We had such a great time dining there during our short visit. We ordered lots of dishes and they were all very delicious. I would highly recommend the spicy fish fillet, salt and pepper squid, clam dish and beef chow fun. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Their deep fried seasme balls were absolutely delicious and fresh.

    Pork egg foo young.

LOVED the food! Egg foo young - the gravy is legit and doesn't separate. Not the oil and brown gravy packet base of many Chinese restaurants these days. And the egg rolls are so good as they're fried in peanut oil as they should be. Won ton soup had pork slices and delicious broth and the cashew chicken actually had a flavor - a really really good one!! Several large group tables and then plenty of four tops in this strip mall gem.

Was in the area and got takeout (for 2 ppl) for the first time from China House. Did an order of General Tso's chicken and an order of General Tso's tofu, along with an egg roll and a spring roll. Service was quick and friendly - the order was done in less than 10 minutes!! Food was tasty and there was a large portion of each - definitely enough for another meal or two. The only thing was there wasn't any vegetables, which may have been an oversight on my part from looking at the menu. Would order food from them again.

Excellent! Our go to for Chinese food. Good portions because the best thing is the leftovers! The chicken wings are crunchy and spicy and the fried rice is very good.

China House is one of the better Chinese restaurants in Westerville, and there's lots. It's located in a not so nice area. That's the one bad thing. It has pretty affordable meals. There's good and healthier options. I had the Homestyle Bean Curd. It's about $7 for the lunch portion. This is one of the better tasting tofu options recently. It was crispier than many other places. The tofu wasn't burnt though. It came with a good amount of vegetables, unlike many places who just put a few pieces of broccoli in it. The food was ready in a few minutes. If you want good quick Chinese go to China House. It's in the strip mall off Westerville Road. There's a few sports bars you can stop in to wait.

The chief was great, all dishes are yummy! Service is good too, they are very busy during dinner time but we have been taken care of! Food portion are great, price are amazing!

I was pleased with Mark K and my first visit. It's in a small strip mall, but It's a lot nicer than what you would normally expect to find.. Mark got: Southern Style Egg Rolls - Very Tex-Mex. Good, filling, and not too spicy. Beef Pad Thai - Decent, but not mind-blowing. Could use more scrambled eggs and bean sprouts. I got: Hot And Sour Soup - Quite good with a nice smokey flavor. General Tso's Chicken - It's as good as it gets, folks, meaning it's a rival to my favorite at China Bell in Grove City. The sauce is excellent! The chunks of white chicken meat are just lightly breaded enough to hold the sauce but not overpower the dish. I'd say it's a 95% chicken to 5% breading ratio. And they still serve it with broccoli. Outstanding! I'd go back again to do some more exploring in a heartbeat. Like I said, 5 stars.

I'll start with what was good: the Mei fun, takoyaki, and the (delicious) egg roll. What lacked for me were the soups and the sesame chicken. I can see many people loving the sesame chicken, but I like mine drenched in sauce, and this felt like a healthier version with a glazed grilled chicken taste. I am also not the biggest fan of Asian soups but I always try them in case I find one that changes my mind. People may love the soups as well.

Good service; she was busy with a couple other diners and constant carryout orders but kept up on my items and drink refills. I tried the agedashi tofu, perhaps the best version I've had. Big squares, crispy and flavorful on the outside, silky and mild (and hot!) on the inside. Served with a tangy sauce that nicely balanced the tofu. I got the gonchu beef rice pot as my entree. Several other things interested me, and my standard for a first visit is Mongolian beef so I can compare methods, but rice pots seem to be their specialty and this looked good. Tender lean beef, marinated in a slightly sweet sauce, with green beans over rice in a metal kettle with lid. Sort of like bibimbap but the kettle/bowl is not searingly hot. Very tasty. I was stuffed between the two. Oh, and a spring roll comes with the bowl, also pretty good. Fast. Flavorful. Convenient. I'd definitely come back.

We got there around 5:30 and it wasn't very busy, which was nice. We were seated right away. One thing I noticed is the lighting--it's pretty soft in the dining area, with most of the brightness focused on the food stations. It actually gives the place a relaxed vibe. Now let's get to the important part...the food. Everything was hot, fresh, and honestly just really good. First plate in and I already knew I made the right choice. Some standouts for me were the egg drop soup, General Tso's chicken, black pepper shrimp, and the pepper steak. All solid, all flavorful. I made a couple trips (no shame in that at a buffet), and they do a great job keeping everything stocked and fresh. The place was also very clean, which always matters with buffets. Service was great too--our server kept our drinks full without us having to ask, which I always appreciate. Wrapped things up with an almond cookie, which was a simple but perfect way to end the meal. At the end of the day, you're getting good quality, tasty food for under $15...that's hard to beat. Definitely a great value, and I'll for sure be back again soon.
