This is the best little Chinese place around!! Prices are good and food is always hot and fresh. The service is good and food is always on time for pickup. You can eat in or carry out.

Dragon Village is one of the few options in Pataskala for some Chinese. It's much better than one thinks. There's a few locations in Licking County. It has mostly the same menu. There's the usual Chinese items but they're done well. I had the General Tso's Tofu. It's about $7 for the lunch portion. This is a good amount and if it's only for you then you don't need any more. It comes with huge pieces of tofu, which are crispy enough instead of almost mushy like many fried tofu at Chinese restaurants in Columbus. The meal also came with a good assortment of vegetables. It has really fast service as it took only a County Levon minutes until it was at the counter. There's a bar right in the strip mall you can wait until you get it. If you're in a hurry go to Dragon Village. It has fast yet good food. The inside is clean but most take it out.

We were looking for something to eat in Etna Ohio. We were referred to the Dragon Village by a friend. Very happy with choice. It really is a local joint. Price was reasonable. Food was good and hot. Owner came out to check on us. The two of us ate for $20. Second visit. Food is always fast and hot. They really try their best to make sure that our visit is the best it can be We will come back and make sure our friends come too

I'm a truck driver, and when I'm in the area, I order a Happy Family, Egg Rolls, and Fried Rice, it's really damn good, highly recommend.

Even though I didn't order ahead and they were very busy, I got my order quickly. This is close to my home and I will be back for more

We ordered sweet and sour chicken, vegetable lo mein, an egg roll, steamed rice, and yum yum sauce. I was surprised that all our dishes were fairly bland; I found myself dumping soy sauce on the lo mein, for instance, to get any flavor. The yum yum sauce was much more like a honey mustard than any other version of that sauce I ever had, and neither my daughter nor I liked it. Sweet and sour chicken was decent: chicken was not greasy or had too much breading, which i appreciated. Portions were not huge, unlike a lot of other Chinese restaurants, especially given the price. Fine, but I'll be looking for other Chinese restaurants for take out in the future.

We ordered our usual Lantern Chicken, one egg roll and crispy chow mein noodles. It was $19. We…read morealways got a full container of Lantern Chicken and a paper container of rice. This time they put the rice and the Lantern Chicken in the same container and it's a smaller container. You're getting less for more money. We called and they tried to say we were getting the same amount because they said they measure it. How can you get the same amount if the container is smaller? More lies. We are now done ordering from them. And we have been ordering from them for over 20 years. Wish I could post a picture. Picture is an old container showing the size, second picture is the new container, which they say is the same size of food as the old container but 1/2 is now the rice.

Went there for lunch, friend recommended…read more I went there once before, it said open at 11am, and...is not So this is the second time, giving them a second chance. First of all, if you never been here before, you just going to keep on driving, even tho is located in a plaza , big parking lot, but if you look at all businesses in the plaza, all are signs "open", welcoming, here? Is all super dark, windows are all cover, more like a sign saying "go away" we closed When I walked in, I just stood there, no one greeted me, no host by the front. One of the server saw me and told me to take a seat anywhere. I'm only there for lunch, so I look at the lunch menu. Now here is the thing. I believe every restaurant should only serve one type of food, meaning if you want to serve Chinese food, Chinese food only, if you want to serve Steak, Steak and Lobster only, don't do Thai and so Italian or Vietnamese and Gyro, this place is Chinese and...Thai, and they got a Mexican serving me, okay, is like so what are you? Friend of mine told me they also serve Vietnamese coffee, I asked, he said only Thai coffee, okay, no big deal. Ordered a drink, asked for a a straw, nope, don't have it, asked me if I want a to go cup, a restaurant don't have straw? Thats your only one job, order everything you need for the "restaurant". To me, that's a very poor management, because when you owing a business, you do not and never wait until everything is out to reorder, when ever your products are running low, not out, you reorder Poor experience

Daniel made it so easy tonight for my husband and I . We've always said we wanted to try it - our 2026 is about doing it , not talking about it . He recommended the XiXia stirred noodle with beef and mentioned they make their own soy for it . I wanted to try the hot pot noodles . We got to choose wide or thin noodles (they're fresh !!). We got wide for the stirred and thin for the hot pot . We also ordered the pork , shrimp and chive dumplings . First of all - the handmade dumplings . DAng . I don't think I'll ever get BIBIGO again with this place so close . Melt in your mouth delicious . and they were large . We totally loved both noodle dishes . Stirred noodles were the hit - the sauce is homemade and they were wonderfully tender and dang that homemade garlic/soy sauce !! They should bottle it . The hot pot noodles were awesome . Like a lo mein but not even close because the noodles are handmade . And can we talk about the beef ? Not chewy at all . Lots of Chinese beef dishes have chew to them . This was melt in your mouth tender . We loved both love Thai food and my husband said this blows Thai paradise away( noodle dishes ) . I agree . Handmade noodles will always win . We'll definitely be back . And with family/ employees like Daniel , XiXia is sure to win and gain so many more customers . He is awesome !!!!

We ordered a bunch of soupy pork buns (XLB)- hands down the favorite for the kids. They took a little longer to come out but everything else was quick. I got the Spicy Beef Stew Noodle with wide handmade noodles and baby bok choy. The Szechuan peppercorn spice hit just right-- tingly and balanced. The noodles were bouncy with a perfect bite, the bone broth was rich, and there was plenty of meat (a few pieces a bit tough, but still solid overall). Hubs got the Curry Chicken lunch special and cleaned his plate. Service was great. They default to forks, so ask for chopsticks and soup spoons if you prefer them. Ordering is through a tablet, which keeps things moving and you pay at the counter. Everyone left full and happy, which is really all you need to know. NOTES/TIPS: **Wheelchair-accessible. Easy parking in shared plaza lot. **Clean bathrooms. **Bonus: their takeout containers are high quality and reusable.

Ambiance/Atmosphere: it's small and clean on the inside. When really busy it can feel pretty crowded. Food: The food here is really good. I don't eat Chinese food all that often, but when I do this is definitely the go to. Orange chicken: excellent tang with the subtle orange flavor and always fresh and vibrant. Crispy, juicy, and every bite full of flavor. Best orange chicken I've had. General Tso: A delicious rendition of this classic American Chinese dish. Crispy, flavorful, spicy, but still a slight sweetness. This is a must order every time. Honey chicken: The crispy honey chicken is really good. The crispy salty sweet chicken is a perfect subtle sweet pallet cleanse from the other more savory items. Chicken and broccoli: An excellent pairing with fried or white rice, plenty of chicken and broccoli in the portion. Flavor is good and not oily, but really just your average chicken and broccoli. Cream cheese wontons/crab Rangoon: Crab Rangoons are my mom's favorite and so whenever they're on a menu it's a must grab and Dragon Village executes these perfectly. Great pairing with the sweet and sour sauce. A delicious balance between a slight sweet and savoriness of the cream cheese filling with the crispy shell. Egg rolls: The egg rolls are delicious.
