Overall the vibe is cute, bright, and right in downtown. The matcha latte was really good and I like that they asked me how sweet I want it. Not the best place if you're looking to do work since there isn't very much space/seating and the seats are not very comfortable. My friend also liked a chicken sandwich he had there. If you come later in the day, they do tend to have fewer sweet food options. I'm sad to rate them 3 stars since I was hoping this would become a regular go-to of mine, but I just couldn't justify more. I would try other parts of their menu again though at some point and see if it was just an off day. 1. Cinnamon financier (weekly special flavor) - very dry and I personally would've liked a greater hit of cinnamon 2. Yuzu financier - by far my favorite! This one was moister and I could definitely taste the citrus in each bite, even getting a tiny bit of zest which I enjoyed. 3. Einspanner - the coffee itself was good but I didn't get the housemade whipped cream I hoped for and had seen in other Yelp pictures. The cafe itself was cute! read more

Love their coffees. This little cute shop is right next to the delicious Korean shop, Bentoful. Servers are friendly and always inviting. Stopped by on a coffee break for a latte and ended up treating myself to a Honey Financier. It's a small almond cake that is dense, sweet and moist with a nice outside crust. Can't wait to try all of the other flavors. Adding this to my short list of coffee shops. read more

My standard order at coffee shops now is a large Earl Gray tea with room for cream. Most places have cream on the outside, and if they don't most places are respectful when I say do not pour the half and half in for me give it to me on the side and leave room. This place did not do that. When I said room for cream they asked if I was fine with half and half I said yes but leave room I wanted to steep it first. Instead of doing that, she proceeded to fill it with hot water not let it steep and pour the half and half in. When I said fill all the way to the top she left an inch of room. That isn't no way in line with what I said which was explicitly large Earl Gray tea with room for cream with the cream on the side. I will not be coming back to this establishment. They could have done hell of a better job. read more

I've been to Cafe An Clair more times than I can count and it never disappoints! They have amazing drink options and great pastries - especially their financiers (they also have scones, but I find them a bit dry). My go-to drink is a matcha latte, iced or cold, it is delicious. You can also customize sweetness and all types of alternative milks! It has a cute interior and great location as well and service is always good. Love that it is a small local business and very excited that they have opened up an additional location in SLU! read more

Very cute spot! Nice ambiance and has a decent amount of seating outside under a tent. I came for breakfast around 9:30am. Not too busy and there were 2 people working, one on drinks and the other on food and cashier. They were both very quick and efficient! I got the egg bacon and cheese sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie. The sandwich was very good. A good amount of bacon and cheese and the brioche bun was great! For a little cafe, I think this breakfast sandwich was better than most. I will say though that the ingredients weren't very evenly spread out so I had a few dry bites, but probably would've been made better if I had added the avocado. Chocolate chip cookie was good, but a little cakey for my preference. It wasn't warmed, but I didn't ask for it so not sure if they would if you do. But overall I would definitely recommend this place for a quick grab and go breakfast! read more

We went this morning and it was a small, very clean cafe. I could see they had many regulars because the employees could anticipate some of the orders. I enjoyed the window seating and there were several people in there working on lap tops and drinking coffee. It wasn't too loud of a cafe. I appreciated the attention to detail because when giving me my cup of coffee, there was some spilled coffee on the side of the cup and saucer. The barista cleaned it quickly and changed the saucer out. The negative is that my husband and I both felt like our coffee and latte were too cool. They just were not very hot. I rarely would say that at a cafe, but honestly our drinks were room temperature by the time we ate our sandwich and finished off with the drinks. The sandwiches are a 5/10, nothing to rave about but as a whole I would return if we ever visited Seattle again and was in the area. This is officially one of my favorite coffee shops in Seattle. It doesn't have the hipster vibes you'd expect from a Seattle coffee shop; it actually leans closer to cute LA koreatown cafe, which is fitting since a lot of its employees were Korean. They have a decent selection of sandwiches (they have a bulgogi sandwich!!) and coffee. Their drinks all tend to be on the sweeter side since some of them, including the Spanish latte I ordered, use condensed milk. Luckily, you can adjust the sweetness if you don't have much of a sweet tooth. My Spanish latte had a whole stick of cinnamon in it, and plenty of cinnamon powder on top and mixed in. It wasn't too spicy and somehow maintained a sweet cinnamon flavor. My only gripe with this place is the seating. There's plenty, but the tables are soooo close together. Like I had to ninja my way around to get to my table without touching anyone, and doing this while holding a hot latte was quite the challenge. read more

There was no wait which was nice, the inside was a little small so not much seating but outside there's a nice spot with a fountain to sit. It tasted really good and actually had a kick to it, usually places like Starbucks have more mild versions. Only downside was that it was a little pricy, but not that out of the ordinary for Seattle. My husband and I went here the day before we left Seattle. It was only down the block from our hotel. I got the hot chocolate. My husband got the Spanish latte and together, we shared a blueberry scone. The hot chocolate was pretty good. My husband really liked his Spanish latte. He said it was the best coffee he's had while we were in Seattle. It tasted sweet and had a cinnamon taste to it. I immediately realized I liked the blueberry scone and got another one to go for the airport. They didnt have dining options inside but they did have one outside. One of my go-to coffee shops for the past year! If you're in the area for a boost of caffeine or munchies for some sandwiches, this place provides. I love to work in this small cafe. When entering the glass doors, you immediately notice the natural lighting pouring in through the large glass windows. The design is minimalist with white marble-type tables and wooden chairs over a cooler concrete floor. I enjoy the lighter roast Americano, but they have plenty of items on the menu to choose from. The workers are especially bright and have especially strong customer service. Upon frequently coming, the workers know your name and order rather quickly. I highly recommend this cafe for anyone who likes minimalist-type cafes with good coffee/food. Caveat is that the space may be limited during the lunch rush. read more

Wow. Customer service on point. It blew me away. The girls who worked there (possibly the owners) were so friendly and helpful. I don't think I've received that level of customer service at a cafe in a very long time. The girl at the counter gave me a brief rundown of their menu drinks and made it easy for me to find a drink I wanted. I ended up ordering the Ainspanner, which is an americano with a dollop of their housemade cream. The drink was splendid, and the housemade cream is so worth getting. First time, I got a latte and my sister tried a Spanish latte. The Spanish latte was the bomb! Very smooth and sweet! I really like the combination of condensed milk and cinnamon. After that, I always order it! Besides the coffee, you can order Bulgogi sandwich and financiers. I tried all flavors of financiers (Yuzu, honey, berry and bacon). They are all good but my favorite is Yuzu! Their sandwiches are perfect for lunch! I wish I work nearby so that I can go weekdays too. Perfect way to start the morning. They have many delicacies such as scones and financiers or even breakfast meals with bacon. The almond scone and the honey financier were a delight. They weren't overly sweet and were obviously made fresh as they were still warm. They even have gluten free options. I also had the hot chocolate which was excellent: rich and with the perfect sweetness. On their menu they also have coffees, chai latte or matcha latte as well as many other items. I ordered a latte and three of their financiers (honey, banana (special), and brownie for $1.50 each). I was a little disappointed the latte was served in a togo cup rather than a mug and was lacking in flavor and richness. The foam was also not as smooth as I typically like. The financiers were also nothing special. The honey was the best of the three and had a really great crust that was sweet and browned in flavor and was relatively moist. The banana had almost no banana flavor and was pretty dry. The same goes for the brownie flavor. Overall with so many other great options for coffee and bakeries in Seattle, I would not choose this one. read more

The thing that stands out the most is the great customer service -- they do a great job of creating a warm + welcoming environment and genuinely care about each individual's visit! The decor and ambiance is very cute too :) They also offer an extensive drink menu with some unique offerings, like their cloud foam cold brew. I ordered a matcha latte last time that was also really good and I was able to customize the sweetness level. As for the food, I've only tried their sausage breakfast sandwich, but they also offer other sandwiches and salads for lunch. There's way more options for coffee closer to my office, but I think going out of the way to stop at Cafe An'Clair is worth it! read more

I'm not usually a fan of honey flavored things, but this was amazing.
