This is a solid lunch spot! I placed an order online for the Mediterranean bowl and the chocolate mousse cake. The entrees always come with a roll and a chocolate dipped strawberry which I love! The bowl had a good variety of flavors and was reasonably priced. I just had to wait a few minutes for my order to be ready. I took my food home to eat but the booths seemed clean and interior is brightly colored.

Nobody cleans up the mess near the dining area.

I've been here a few times and the food is pretty good. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience is not good. First, the ordering process is pretty confusing. Between the salads and bowls and soup, everyone seems to take orders in different places, and there are a bunch of people running around behind the counter. No one seems to know whose food belongs to who. Last visit there, we stood at the register for five minutes with all of our hot food just waiting on someone to check us out and finish giving us the little items like a bread loaf that came with our meal. The main reason for the low score here is that this place is a mess. Tables don't get cleaned up, there's trash everywhere, the condiment area is a disaster, and the beverages always seem to be empty. It's just dirty overall and messy. It's unfortunate because the actual food they're serving is pretty good and reasonably priced.

I just came for the chocolate covered strawberries, so this review is not fully accurate of their entire menu and customer experience! The strawberries were very juicy and perfectly ripe, and the chocolate went very well with it at expected. The girl taking our order was SO nice and was very happy to help us. The crazy thing was just that this one cup of strawberries was $15 before tip!!! I have a hard time recommending it because it is such a high price for such a simple cup. I won't deny the strawberries tasted amazing though!

Love this spot! Variety of options. I come here when I want decently healthy food. Have tried their soup, salad, and protein bowls. Have loved everything so far! Got the Mediterranean Crunch sandwich today which was loadeddd. I love their try 2 combo so I can get a soup/sandwich or soup/salad. Decent portion sizes. Service is always friendly and very fast. Tons of seating inside. Parking can get difficult in busy hours, but I've never had a problem. Their food comes with a bread roll and chocolate covered strawberry how cute!

Half Sandwich (Turkey, Bacon, Avocado) + Salad (Thai Chicken) Combo

I can't believe it's taken me so long to try this place out, but so glad I did. The Chicken Enchilada Soup was creamy w/ chunks of chicken, corn & black beans. My order came w/ a white roll - like a super gummy Wonder bread one tho. A little crispy baguette would be awesome instead. Jus' sayin'! Wow on the complementary sweet treat they give you: not a mini cookie but a decadent chocolate-covered strawberry. Yum! Can't wait to go back & try a sandwich & salad combo... Today I chowed down on the generous-sized Half Sandwich (Turkey, Bacon, Avocado) + Salad (Thai Chicken) Combo. Sandwich served warm so cheese was oozey/melty & Salad was full of healthy ingredients like English cucumbers, cherry tomatoes & a peanut dressing was a vinaigrette. Usually this kind of salad comes with a thick, syrupy style dressing. So good...

Bread roll

Tasty, colorful food with seemingly fresh ingredients. The bread was my favorite part. I had a Turkey Bacon Avocado sandwich on a ciabatta roll. Each meal also comes with another bread roll on the side and a chocolate dipped strawberry (which is a nice surprise!). The TBA had good texture and tasted pretty good. My only critique of the sandwich was the avocado was a little rubbery. The bread roll was yummy. The strawberry was huge! I was skeptical that it was going to be a good strawberry considering it's late August but it was amazing!! My fiance got the bbq chicken salad with extra chicken and enjoyed it. The reason I knocked this place down a star was because the decor was soooo outdated. They wouldn't have to do much to bring this place up to a modern look. However, they still have an "iPod bar" in the center of the restaurant which is just so odd. Who owns an iPod anymore? The service workers were nice but I ordered my sandwich without cheese and it still came with cheese - pet peeve!

Soup & Sausage Bistro is one of them, serving Ukrainian and Polish cuisine. Parking won't be a problem in the lot they share with several other businesses. Ambiance (3/5): Don't let the simple decor or the non-descript exterior fool you. While it's a casual restaurant, and a small one at that, I'm judging this restaurant mostly on the quality of its food as Eastern European food is generally hard to come by. You order at the counter and then they bring your food to you. There are five or so tables, so tiny as I mentioned. While casual, it is homey. Service (3/5): Pretty average service. They don't check on you. They're not overly friendly. Yet, once again, it's the food I'm primarily concerned about here. Drinks (4/5): Soft drinks and Eastern European beer for the most part. They have a nice selection of Ukrainian beers, which was a first for me. I enjoyed trying something new. Food (4/5): Now for the good stuff. As you would expect, there is a lot of soup and sausage on the menu. Including some famous one like borscht and Polish kielbasa. I've also tried their chicken meatball soup which was solid, but if it's your first time, go with the borscht. Don't let the purple color (from the beets) steer you away. Beyond soup and sausage, they have a lot of other classic dishes including pierogies, chicken Kiev, potato pancakes, and blintzes. And if you're looking for something sweet, their top seller is the honey cake. As good as it sounds. Everything I've had at Soup & Sausage Bistro has been above average to great. They have some nice combos that allow you to try a variety. The prices are affordable. Join their rewards program by entering your phone number at the kiosk and you'll get deals. All in all, great value for the money. And if you've never had Eastern European food before, it's a treat.

In lay man's terms, it's effectively a giant hot pocket but the filling is ultra rich, savory and filling. I tried the og - which historically is beef, potatoes and root vegetables and it was definitely thick and filling - the red wine gravy is a must on it as it's a little dry otherwise. My wife tried the Guinness stew one and that was the winner in my book - umami rich, ultra savory tender beef stew with good vegetal notes. Walked in to a nearly empty restaurant -- just one other customer -- and wasn't greeted. The AC was off with only a few floor fans running, making the space feel suffocating. After waiting 30 minutes for my spring rolls (in an almost empty restaurant), they arrived with no peanut sauce and zero apology from the staff. By this point I was flushed, short of breath, and feeling faint from the heat and poor air circulation. I politely let the male server know I was overheating and felt like I might faint. His response? He told me the AC was on and to "drink more water" -- in a rude, dismissive tone -- then walked away to greet a new customer. I packed up my spring rolls to go and paid without a word. He didn't seem surprised. It felt like this was a pattern he was used to. After leaving I checked other reviews -- long wait times, poor atmosphere, and rude staff are recurring themes. I'm adding my experience to save others the trip. Don't waste your time or money here.
