Loved our visit to Bushfire Kitchen! The house white sangria was light, sweet, and super easy to sip on. The salmon plate was cooked just right -- flavorful and moist without being overdone. The En Fuego burger was such a fun surprise with that sweet-and-spicy bacon twist! The BBQ chicken plate hit the spot, especially with the creamy mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts on the side. My absolute favorite, though, was the Gaucho steak sandwich -- that chimichurri sauce was insanely good and tied everything together perfectly. We finished with their cookie, which came out warm, gooey, and perfectly balanced in sweetness. Such a satisfying way to end the meal. i thought the food was ok. nothing too special. good but not great. however, i am a little disappointed by portion sizes. sandwiches looked kind of small. amd sides are ala carte. so it's not included. i had the strawberry spinach salad, it was tasty and the strawberries and toasted nuts were great. but the portion was kind of small. the beers are pretty good. we stopprd here after a round of golf and it was a nice late lunch. with the food and beer. but i think if you increased the portions a little more, it would be a better value, and more likely to bring in repeat business. overall, decent food. but lacking in portion sizes. read more

I've been here twice already because it is that good! The staff are super friendly. They all seem to enjoy being there. I had the strawberry spinach salad with homemade poppy seed dressing. It's truly the best I've ever had. The salad is extremely fresh and the dressing is superb. My husband had the salmon bowl with Mac n cheese plus mashed potatoes (he's a carboholic ) The Mac N cheese was like homemade meaning as good as it gets. The salmon was perfectly cooked. We received surprisingly good service here Sunday evening- the staff seemed genuinely happy to be there and like they enjoy the food too! This place is fairly new to our area and we have tried quite a few times already! We had the salmon and Tri trip plate, the Tri tip plate, a couple of their salads and the empanadas, and the quesadillas that they offer during happy hour. Everything was DELICIOUS! They're exceptionally hospitable and were really great at anticipating our needs. It's only been open for about 2 weeks and the place is really clean. I wanna start out by saying the food is always really good and this is the first time I've had a bad experience. I walked in went to look if my food was at the pick up section because I had gotten a notification that it was done. There was nothing there, and then when I went to the registers, multiple people just looked at me and didn't acknowledge me at all. I will say they did look a little bit busy but at the same time you can at least let me know. Hey I'll be right with you and then mind you gave me the wrong food because he didn't speak with his chest and I didn't hear what name he said so I just said salmon and bowl and he said Yes. Hopefully this place doesn't start going downhill cause that was my first bad experience but just cause you're busy doesn't mean you don't have to acknowledge your customers even if it's to tell them to give you a second. read more

Went to Bushfire Kitchen today for the second time. This time I got the Thai chicken bowl. I got it with mashed potatoes and vegetables. It was really good. I will be getting it again. I really like their iced tea. The only sweetener they offer is stevia which is not my favorite. So I have to remember to bring sweet and low when I go. read more

This restaurant has a beautiful ambience with an outdoor patio if you prefer eating outside. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. I usually eat at their Aliso Viejo location and I try something different each time. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu, but my favorites would be this salad that I had with strawberries and goat cheese or the BLT. They also have empanadas served with the best chimichurri sauce I've ever had! Bushfire is always a hit. I will be making this new Long Beach location my go to since it's much closer to where I live. read more

I was blown away by Bushfire Kitchen. The food is extremely fresh and bursting with flavor. I had the Peri Peri chicken with sides of Brussels sprouts and maple glazed sweet potatoes. The chicken was super tender and the Peri Peri sauce had a nice spice. The sweet potatoes were not too sweet and super well balanced. The plate came with focaccia and scallion oil.. omg. The flavor of that oil was off the charts. It took a piece of bread so an entirely new level. As good as everything was, the biggest highlight of the meal was the beef empanada. I got a Gaucho Steak Sandwich. The chimichurri sauce is tasty. The sandwich is small in size (maybe 6") and is not a meal. It was nothing like it was pictured on menu and very light on the tri-tip. The entrance and flow of store is mess. The ONLY doors open right into the head of queuing order line. There is lots of staff but no one tell you anything until you get to counter to order. Customers enter store and socially gather up their party just inside door which further adds to the confusion in where the line is to order food. 3 stars is kind. (light on meat, sandwich small, flow of store is a mess, little parking, and overpriced IMO) read more
