This restaurant has a beautiful ambience with an outdoor patio if you prefer eating outside. The staff were friendly and the service was excellent. I usually eat at their Aliso Viejo location and I try something different each time. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu, but my favorites would be this salad that I had with strawberries and goat cheese or the BLT. They also have empanadas served with the best chimichurri sauce I've ever had! Bushfire is always a hit. I will be making this new Long Beach location my go to since it's much closer to where I live. read more

I was blown away by Bushfire Kitchen. The food is extremely fresh and bursting with flavor. I had the Peri Peri chicken with sides of Brussels sprouts and maple glazed sweet potatoes. The chicken was super tender and the Peri Peri sauce had a nice spice. The sweet potatoes were not too sweet and super well balanced. The plate came with focaccia and scallion oil.. omg. The flavor of that oil was off the charts. It took a piece of bread so an entirely new level. As good as everything was, the biggest highlight of the meal was the beef empanada. Super flaky crust, perfectly spiced filling. I'd eat one every day if I could. They also have really great customer service!! Can't wait to go back! read more

I got a Gaucho Steak Sandwich. The chimichurri sauce is tasty. The sandwich is small in size (maybe 6") and is not a meal. It was nothing like it was pictured on menu and very light on the tri-tip. The entrance and flow of store is mess. The ONLY doors open right into the head of queuing order line. There is lots of staff but no one tell you anything until you get to counter to order. Customers enter store and socially gather up their party just inside door which further adds to the confusion in where the line is to order food. 3 stars is kind. (light on meat, sandwich small, flow of store is a mess, little parking, and overpriced IMO) read more

We had read about Bushfire Kitchen and its excellent reviews and decided to drop by with our golden doodle, having confirmed that there was outside seating and that the restaurant was dog friendly. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich which had pesto, avocado, and some other wonderful ingredients on it on a baguette that she said was just delicious, as was the whole sandwich. I ordered a brisket bowl with vegetables and topped with very tasty squash. The bowl was absolutely delicious. We were extremely impressed with Bushfire and not only the good food, but also the fact that real plates and real silverware were provided even though you ordered from a counter inside the kitchen. The food was excellent, the service, including the attentiveness to our dog, was great and a good time was had by all. read more

Bushfire Kitchen just opened up in Long Beach and it's already a hit! Came here with some friends and everything we ordered was bomb. The En Fuego Burger lived up to the name--juicy, flavorful, and packed with heat in the best way possible. The Tri-Tip Bowl was tender and super satisfying, and don't even get me started on the Mac n Cheese--absolutely out of this world creamy and cheesy We also tried the Gaucho Steak Sandwich which was loaded with flavor and grilled to perfection. The vibes were chill, the staff was friendly, and you can tell they're passionate about what they serve. Definitely putting this place on my go-to list. Reading the other reviews, maybe we were here on an off-night. Nonetheless, the customer service was frustrating and confusing. The interaction ordering at the register was awkward and the person taking our order seemed socially inept / borderline rude and at one point she said "I know kids are picky". I guess so. Not mine really but whatever. I feel like she needs training. The cost seemed out of alignment with our experience and the quality of the meal. My salad was surprisingly small and unimpressive. Tables were dirty although, the gentleman who came out and cleaned one up for us was extremely friendly. They mistakenly delivered someone else's burger to us, which we didn't realize at the time, and took a bite of, and then the people to whom it belonged waited a really long time for their order to come out. I was so excited to try this place and really let down. With so many places to choose from nearby, it doesn't feel worth returning. read more

i thought the food was ok. nothing too special. good but not great. however, i am a little disappointed by portion sizes. sandwiches looked kind of small. amd sides are ala carte. so it's not included. i had the strawberry spinach salad, it was tasty and the strawberries and toasted nuts were great. but the portion was kind of small. the beers are pretty good. we stopprd here after a round of golf and it was a nice late lunch. with the food and beer. but i think if you increased the portions a little more, it would be a better value, and more likely to bring in repeat business. overall, decent food. but lacking in portion sizes. read more

We heard about Bushfire Kitchen on Social Media. So me and my wife decided to give it a try. The food was so flavorful and delicious. I ordered the brisket bowl and wife ordered the salmon bowl. Not only they are delicious they are also healthy meals. We loved it so much we came back the next day. I liked the brisket bowl so much I had to have it again. My wife changed up and tried the curry chicken bowl this time. We loved the food. Very flavorful healthy food. Great Atmosphere, friendly staff. Awesome experience. The burger was amazing and so was the gluten free bun. The tri tip plate was good. Meat was a not as tender as I like, but the sweet potato fries, and the brussels sprouts were divine.
