The menu didn't appear too overwhelming with too many choices so it was easy to read and make a decision. The sweet potato fries were crispy and perfectly salted. The peri peri chicken was tender and had a kick of spice. Tri-tip was also very tasty with the chimichurri. Chimichurri was thicker than other places I've had, but it was good. Their fiery En Fuego burger is hella spicy but in a good way and their Thai Chicken Curry bowl has some authentic Thai flavors. The Surf and Turf is for the days you want something healthy that will fuel you up and their Tuscan Chicken Sandwich always hits. Their empanadas are always a hit with a flakey outer and savory inside. I love how this spot is casual with really elevated food at a great price. I saw a sign that they were going to open a location in Brea and have been excited for it! I had only tried their catering service for my work and we love it! Their food is always fresh and great for the office setup so of course I wanted to try it fresh from the restaurant. I got adds on my social media to sign up for their kitchen testing and was lucky enough to get in and we have been back since. I did not want to write a review based solely on the early opening date as I didn't think it would be objective given that they were testing and some of the dishes included sides that they normally wouldn't. On both visits the staff have been super friendly and helpful! They have some selection of tap beers including some local ones and some of their own drinks. You walk up to order and get a number to take to your table. The my had multiple tables with indoor and super cute outdoor seating areas. This is a fast casual family friendly place with multiple healthy options. My bf likes empanadas so we could not leave without having some. We tried their pumpkin empanada which was the seasonal one at the time, their chicken and their beef empanada. I personally don't like pumpkin but he loved it so much he even bought one to go for his mom. My personal favourite was the chicken empanada. They are very meaty, have a good flavour and tasted fresh. The beef one was also good, but I personally like the chicken better. Their chimichurri sauce is delicious, not needed for the empanadas, but for sure love it! For our main dishes my bf had the chimichurri gaucho steak sandwich and I had the surf and turf with salmon and tri tip. The salmon was perfectly cooked and very tender, I loved it! The trip tip was also good, but I liked the salmon better. As for the sandwich, it was PERFECT! So much so, that for our second visit, we both had that because my bf only gave me a bite the first time. My bf also ordered a Greek salad to go and some empanadas for his mom, she enjoyed both. If you order empanadas to go, you can tell the flavours apart by the cute letters they make on them C- chicken, B-beef, and S is for the special season flavor. Had a wonderful first visit to this chain for the soft opening for their new Brea location. The staff was very welcoming and friendly for our gratis lunch. The cashiers were very knowledgeable about the healthy menu and also super friendly. We shared a delicious, warm pumpkin empanada witha side of whipped cream to start. I loved my Gaucho Steak Sandwich with the yummy chimichurri sauce and side of right-spiced Roasted Korean Cauliflower. So filling and delicious. I took half my sandwich to go and had it for a pre-dinner snack. My daughter enjoyed her Cage-Free Chicken Bowl with Jasmine Rice and Grandma's Mac & Cheese. She thought the chicken was great and tender for chicken breast; though, she would've preferred dark meat. And, her fave side was the Mac & Cheese because of its creamy texture and great taste. I got invited here to try out their food with my family. We all got something different, five different items. The overall concensus is.... AMAZING!!! This made from scratch kitchen is the beez neez. Everything is amazingly fresh and full of flavor. I personally tried a fuego burger, the Nashville spicy grilled chicken, the sustainable salmon bowl, the surf and turf plate with tri tip and salmon, the sustainable salmon plate and the empanada. I gotta tell you everything was a home run. Definitely get an empanada. I love this place. If I could give them a ten I would. The service was so above and beyond Larissa at the front was out of this world. I have nothing but great things to say about bushfire kitchen. This was our first time trying out Bushfire... needless to say, it's always a risk trying out a new place that you haven't heard anything about... but thankfully we did. My wife LOVED her salmon bowl. She said the salmon was done perfectly and it tasted GREAT. I tried the curry bowl... while it was a little too spicy for my taste, that didn't stop me from finishing it. It was very good. We also got the chicken empanadas which were amazing. I am extremely disappointed to be writing this review after loving Bushfire for so long, but they majorly messed up our takeout order tonight and overall seemed frazzled and understaffed. The person taking my order seemed weirdly distracted, but wasn't the one who put the wrong toppings on the bowls so I don't know what's going on all around. Also, when you charge extra for certain toppings for the bowls, you'd better not randomly put a different topping on it! I wasted my money! I ordered two bowls: one with miso broccoli and one with Brussels sprouts. We received neither, instead had some squash and carrots and onions. I cannot even eat onions. Which was why I ordered the miso broccoli. And paid extra for the miso broccoli. Our receipt on the bag was correct, so by the time we got home and realized the mistake it was too late to drive all the way back and correct them. read more

First timer here! Good was Devine. Their Gaucho and Nashville sammich was top tier in flavor. The restaurant is super clean. I love the fact that they work an open kitchen, so you can see your dish to be prepared and see how the magic happens. Their cashier was lovely and kind we unfortunately did not get her name. Their server Hailey however, was a breath of fresh air lovely and sweet. Very engaging of conversation and super informative of their new location. The sweet teriyaki sauce on the side tied everything together. - Peri Peri Chicken Plate w/ Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Roasted Brussels Sprouts: Every component was spot-on. The peri peri had a nice, subtle heat, and the chicken was incredibly moist. - California Burger: A well-constructed, satisfying burger that came with avocados, basil pesto aioli, and a toasty bun. - Gaucho Steak Sandwich: Yumm, generous portions of tender steak and a great meat-to-bread ratio. I'd return just for this! - Beef Empanada: They're known for the handmade empanadas so we had to try one. Recently tried Bushfire for the first time this past Saturday on a rainy day. I rarely leave reviews on yelp, a restaurant has to either be really bad or really good in order for me to come on here, and this place was amazing and deserving of a good review. Great quick service, decent prices, a variety of options on the menu and delicious food. The kids menu is great and the happy hour menu looks good, every day 2-5pm. We tried the steak sandwich, butternut squash, chicken empanadas and kids quesadilla and all of it was flavorful. It's a great casual spot to get quality quick food and has wine, beer, hard kombucha and craft sodas as well. It reminds me of urban plates, but smaller. I'm definitely going back to try the happy hour and the grass fed burgers. read more
