    Pork stew lunch tray ;)
    Ben C.

Self serve kiosk, number called for self pickup at counter, self utensils & water, self buss when finished. Gets packed and folks will literally stand in front of tables while waiting for the next available seating. Good broth packed with good amount of meat and chives. Self salt to taste. Soup bowl stay hot for a long time. Kimchi is tasty but not refillable. Onions and dwenjang is nice. Rice texture good. Seating is limited; best for groups less than four. Private parking very limited so try to avoid peak hours.

Love this spot! Pretty busy for Sunday lunch with a lot of Korean families & elderly - that's when you know it's legit! You can order at the counter or at a kiosk. Wait for your number to be called. Not much seating so I recommend going a little earlier to beat the lunch or dinner rush on weekends. Got the bossam, pork bone soup, and squid chives seafood pancake. Everything was SO good and fresh. Large portions so also very filling. Pricing is fair for what you get. Note if you're new to soups like this, you must salt/season the soup yourself. Not every table has salt so you might have to borrow from another table. Meats were tender and flavorful. Pancake was perfectly crispy. Can't wait to come back to try other items.

A solid place for a hearty, rich bowl of Korean soup that will warm your soul. You know a place is legit when the menu is limited-- they nailed it here! They do not skimp out on the meat, and an order of the soup is ~$15, comes with rice, kimchi, and radish kimchi. Be sure to add salt, pepper, jalapeno, shrimp paste to your taste. This place is located in a strip mall next to EM Bop, so there is sufficient free parking. Inside is clean, mostly table seating for 4. There's a kiosk you can order at, if you prefer. The food comes out pretty quickly, and you pick it up next to the utensils and water. When you're done, be sure to return your tray by the counter!

Good authentic Korean food. You order at the kiosk, and pick your food up once your number is called. I thought seating was first come first serve but was kicked out of my table by one of the workers when my full party wasn't there. I ordered the Korean Sausage + Pork Soup which was very tasty but a but skimpy on the soondae portions. The tray they give also takes up too much space of the table with all the condiments and side dishes provided. I'd be willing to come back to try their other dishes.

Great self serve place with a kiosk. Broth was very rich but not salty or oily. Very healthy. Loved the bossam too and all the sides. Would definitely come again

What a great chain and a great price! It's quite great to see that a homey dish can gather up so much flavor and a solid following. The service here is prompt, following a kiosk machine, and there is really nothing that you can go wrong with (other than the piping hot food so make sure you don't burn the roof of your mouth). I really wish they would branch out to more location across the country. Solid 5/5!

Decent soup, needs more depth in flavor but not bad. Overall the place is lovely to be in and will fill you up. I enjoy some of the other tofu soup places around the area just a bit more.

The food here is always hit the spot. Steaming hot and fresh. The restaurant is clean. So you order thru the machine at the front counter. You will get a receipt with a number. Once your number is called up, you can pick up at the window in the corner. Self serve from water to utensils, so no tip ... but it's up to you. You can also order at the front counter with the lady. Seasoning is in the open fridge in the right corner. Very efficient

Good food and fast service. The place is mainly self service (order on screen, grab food when number is called) but the food comes out quite quick. Great for a meal by yourself or to grab with a friend or two.

Authentic experience getting Dwaeji Gukbap. It felt like we were back in Korea! Things you should know: I. PARKING Busan DaeJee Gukbap is within a plaza and shares the free, public parking lot with the adjacent businesses. II. SERVICE You order at a kiosk and they call your order number then it's ready. There is a help-yourself water station, area to grab utensils, plates and napkins. Toppings (like salt) are on the table. We used a lot of that .! III. QUALITY Delicious..! For my friends who have never had Gukbap before ~ you throw the rice into the stew.. kind of like congee. It'll get soggy but that's fine. Don't be afraid to add salt either! The LA Galbi is full of flavor ~ highly recommend! IV. CAPACITY Quite busy on a weekend at lunch hours.

This may just be the best pork rice soup I've ever had. The staff were also very kind and helpful. I highly recommend.

My partner and I were searching for a new Korean restaurant to dine in, and he came across Busan DaeJee Gukbap. I love soups, so I was really excited about trying the restaurant. We walked in for lunch on Sunday and were the only guests there. The restaurant was squeaky clean and the walls were decked out with photos of the entrees that are served there. I ordered Spicy Pork and Rice Soup, while my partner got the Pollack Ox Bone Soup and Spicy Blood Sausage Soup. My soup had a strong pork flavor, and so I swapped my meal with my partner's Pollack Ox Bone Soup. This was completely opposite; it was very bland. I don't think my partner and I were the ideal customers for these types of soups. I personally prefer hearty soups with a lot of flavor, as long as it doesn't taste too porky.

We found our new go to breakfast spot in Duluth Ga we live in Columbia Sc and go to GA pretty often anywhere from 4 to 6 times a year. It is a very clean and cute restaurant where you can also self order or order at the front cashier. They have so many great food options. So we ordered the soondae and pork gukbap We loved the soup, the broth was very clean and delicious. Their radish kimchi was also very tasty. Next next time we go, we will definitely order, possibly the Ramen and order dumplings! Can't wait to go back and try it again.

Nice entrance! I love the simple but chic look.

When I opened the omurice, the rich egg and cheese aroma covered the entire dish, and every spoonful of rice was full of flavor. The sweet and tangy fried chicken skewers were also delicious. Surprisingly, craving this got me to come back a second time. The Fire Chicken Omelette Ramen had the same presentation, but Buddok ramen instead of sushi rice. Disappointing, because I could have just made Buddok ramen at home. The Schewan noodles were not spicy nor tasty. Takoyaki was good, on a bed of potato fries. Would order again. For the Beef Bulgogi Cheese Fries, the bulgogi is good, the fries are not. These fries are from the frozen section at Costco, make no mistake. They are bland, 2/5 star fries. Even if the bulgogi was on top of better fries, the bulgogi is dry and the cheese on it isn't melty or saucy, so the fries and the topping don't mix together well. Just a pile of dry food.

Even though it was crowded, our server was very friendly and attentive. They cooked the meat right at the table, which made the experience better. My partner and I came in around roughly 9:50-10pm. When we arrived we're were initially informed that we had to order soon because they were closing in 30 minutes and were understandings of that. Shortly after we were seated, (literally 1-2 minutes) about 3 employees came to our table letting us know we needed to order within the next few minutes. It was like 10:05. I tried asking one of the employee what the meat options were and was just interrupted by him being persistent in us ordering and did not really answer our questions, mainly because I noticed some of the meat options were pork and I do not consume pork for personal reasons. My partner and I felt overwhelmed and just ordered something we thought would not include pork. After submitting our order another employee came by with the check already without us asking insisting for us to pay before our food even came out. Mind you the restaurant closed within 20 minutes at this point. When our food did come out, it did contain PORK!!! We just left shortly afterwards and left the food on the table.

This time, I brought my friend who has never had Korean bbq before for her to try. We went right when it opened so it was quiet. I told the server it was her first time and he was eager to explain everything to her. I don't think she was prepared at all what was about to grace our table He brought out a cart full of side dishes and start to explain what each one is along with the flavor profile. When he got to the scallion salad, she was just not loving it, but he told her to at least try and see what she thinks (don't knock it til you try it!) Then he said they're still getting the charcoal ready so it'll be a few more minutes and my friend's eyes just (like what?) So we start with trying a bite of all the sides. She enjoyed everything except the sliced onion salad. Surprisingly, she loved everything else, including the scallion salad! She's a texture eater, so I was weary of her trying the tofu, but she really enjoyed that too! So... the charcoal comes out, and she's just Then the server brings the grill with the cheesy corn, spicy bean sprout, and he poured in the eggs. Followed by the meats! Since she didn't really know what she likes, I made a few suggestions and the server suggests letting him bring us the most popular items first and we can work our way through the menu. What a great idea!! Started with brisket and ribeye and wow ... meats were fresh, paired with the sides, and the dipping sauces, it's just chef's kiss!! We then had bulgogi and pork belly and those were just bursting with flavor! The cheesy corn was good but burned too fast on the grill, the spicy bean sprouts are amazing, and the steam egg is my favorite . The only downside is that if you don't eat those sides that are cooking on the grill right away they'll turn dry and burned and it won't be as good. The cheesy corn also caused some splattering to our hands when we were cooking the meats. The server apologized for the oil splattering since he heard the squeal immediately soak up the oil from the cheesy corn so the splattering would stop. Overall, my friend gave it 10/10!!!
