6/29/26: Legal Sea Foods in the Framingham/Natick area continues to be a reliable choice for fresh…read moreseafood and consistently good service. From the moment we were seated, our server was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. We started with the Caesar salad and a half dozen oysters, both of which were fresh and a great way to kick things off. For our entrées, we ordered the salmon, lobster roll, and tuna melt. The salmon was cooked perfectly and topped with a buttery caper sauce that paired well with the mashed potatoes and broccoli. The lobster roll was generously filled with lobster meat and served with crispy fries and coleslaw. The tuna melt was also a solid choice with plenty of flavor, and the onion strings on the side were a nice bonus. Overall, the food quality was very good across the board and the service really stood out. Legal Sea Foods may not be the cheapest seafood restaurant around, but it's dependable, consistently delivers fresh seafood, and is a place I'd happily return to when I'm craving a quality seafood meal.

This was my first time having New England clam chowder in New England, so I had high expectations. The lobster roll was decent and tasted fresh. Served warm with butter, not mayo. The clam chowder was thick, but the portions were smaller than I expected. The whole meal came out to nearly $70 with delivery. I thought lobster would be cheaper out here given the proximity to the coast, but it was about the same price as back home in San Francisco. The DoorDash menu markup plus DoorDash's fees made it an expensive dinner. The lobster roll came with fries, coleslaw, and bread, although the fries and coleslaw felt more like afterthoughts than part of the meal. The whipped, salted butter served with the bread was one of the highlights. They also forgot to include utensils. I was eating in my hotel room, so I ended up using the bread to eat the chowder and had no fork for the coleslaw. Little did I know this was the start of my clam chowder expedition. By the end of my trip, I'd had my fair share for the year! For nearly $70, I expected more food and better attention to the order. Next time I'd dine in.

Our waitress was great and very attentive, without being over our shoulder too much. I ordered some oysters that were fresh and satisfying, and I also got the bolognese which was great!! The parking lot had sufficient parking availability on a Tuesday night. I hadn't made reservations in advance but despite it being pretty busy, they were able to get us a table for 2 inside (there is some outdoor patio seating available). The service was friendly and helpful though not very proactive (but it was busy so understandable). The one major turnoff was the staff aggressively spraying cleaning solution onto nearby tables. That stuff can waft over to someone and set off an allergic reaction, it can get into food/drinks, and the chemical smell that lingered was not great for a higher-end restaurant. On the other hand, it was a clean restaurant! We got shrimp cocktail (they charge by the piece). It didn't come with the standard cocktail sauce - not sure what it was - maybe vinegar-based(?), but it was just OK - my friend didn't like the sauce at all but we thought the shrimp was good. We each ordered haddock with green beans and mashed potatoes. The haddock was nicely prepared with breadcrumbs on top and cooked such that it was still flaky, moist, and had a nice light flavor. Mashed potatoes were good (as other reviewers have noted), and the green beans were ok - maybe a bit undercooked. The team accommodated my friend's nut allergy by leaving off the almonds, which we appreciate! I didn't love the tomato confit but it wasn't bad. I'm glad that I could visit this beautiful restaurant! I hope that they can find a better way to keep the tables clean.

We started with the Crispy Rice Spicy Tuna and Salmon Carpaccio, both of which were excellent appetizers and a great way to begin the meal. For my entrée, I ordered the Chirashi, while our table also shared the Spider Roll, Money Roll, and Volcano Roll. Overall, I thought the sushi was the highlight of the experience. The fish tasted fresh, the rolls were well prepared, and each had its own unique flavor. If you're visiting Tama for the first time, I'd recommend focusing on the sushi menu. I have tried their hibachi platter on a previous visit, and while it was decent, it didn't stand out nearly as much as the sushi offerings. The service was friendly, and the restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere that's great for a casual lunch or dinner with friends and family. I'd definitely come back whenever I'm in the Natick area, especially for the sushi rolls. I'm also looking forward to checking out their new Canton location to see how it compares. If you're deciding between the hibachi and the sushi, my recommendation is easy stick with the sushi. That's where Tama really shines.

Let's start this review with...this Korean BBQ, IT GAVE ME A NEW APPRECIATION FOR ENJOYING COOKING…read moreAT YOUR TABLE! My truly knowledgeable companion suggested this location so we took a road trip to Natick for this spot! We arrived as soon as noon when it opened and were guided to our table. Our waiter DARREN, greeted us and our journey to Korean Bbq began! My companion guided the conversation of our meal choices! We then went to the buffet section of condiments and Chicken and Boiled Crab! We enjoyed many treats such as Kimchi! Then the magic began...... dishes of raw marinated beef arrived and the cooking in the center of our table began! You can't imagine the excitement and the anticipation of grilled fresh meats the way you want and the aromas just perfumed the whole table..... the sounds of sizzling meats were powerful! She kept an eagle eye on the searing of our meats and then with scissors she cut up pieces of sizzling meat on our plates with rice and grilled vegetables! The flavors of the marinated meats were extremely tasty and made it so delicious. Our waiter DARREN KEPT THE MEATS COMING..... Eventually changing the grill pan for a new one and starting a new batch of Korean Meats that for me was so tender and flavorful! I could not take my eyes off the center of our table. Looking around it dawned on me that every table at this location was FULL OF HUNGRY PEOPLE! Families, couples, and friends all were having the best time cooking their meals! Some had Hot Pot, but most had the Sizzling KOREAN BBQ.... We had such a wonderful experience here that I definitely was satiated to the point of extreme happiness! Thanks to my companion's suggestion that made this Sunday dinner very happy! Go check it out for yourself! A wonderful open space and wonderfully designed and today the wait staff wore their Halloween Costumes and my favorite was Spider-Man, but others were just as inventive and creative!

It has even earned the ultimate "Asian elder approved" stamp of admiration from my parents, making it a fantastic dining destination for families, small groups, and large parties alike. The food quality is consistently good, and the buffet area is kept exceptionally clean and well-stocked. They even post helpful sauce recipes so you can mix and match your own dipping blends. The menu can feel slightly limited in specific areas, for instance, the thin-sliced meat is only on the hot pot menu, meaning you have to opt for both the BBQ and hot pot combo to order it. It would also be great to see popular additions like steamed egg and cheese corn on the menu, but the current selection is still more than good enough to warrant regular return visits. The staff is a massive reason why this location stands out. The team goes above and beyond to make guests feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Water glasses are always full and dirty plates always get picked up before I can even put it down! During a birthday celebration for my dad, the shift lead was incredibly thoughtful down to the last detail--he proactively offered a candle, perfectly timed the tiramisu dessert delivery, requested my dad's ID for a comped meal, and made him feel remarkably special. On a separate visit, the team noticed my mom really enjoyed a specific after-dinner mint that they have in the candy bowl at the front. He handed her an entire handful on her way out. That level of personal, homey attention makes a lasting impression. The restaurant is notably cleaner than typical AYCE hot pot and BBQ joints (no greasy floors or sticky tables - yay!) , and the astronaut-themed decor gives the space a unique, cute aesthetic. Because dozens of individual table grills are running simultaneously, the dining room can get quite warm, so it is best to dress in easily removable layers before heading inside.
