Chicken quesadilla with roasted red peppers and grilled onions

My chicken quesadilla with roasted red peppers and grilled onions was everything flavors seasoning was on point

Smaller nacho fries ordered with burger.

Great food. Good service. Had the BT boss burger and nachos fries. Yum! Got here a little early but atmosphere was pleasant.

First time at Burger Theory. Had a large group meet that was served as a burger buffet to build your own. Good selection of burgers, fixings and sides. Food was good, service was excellent. Venue was great for intended meet and greet. Probably higher score on food if ordered from menu but I totally get it. Restaurant is next to Holiday Inn. Not too far from ASU Skysong. Put this one on your list.

If your in the area and not in a rush stop by Burger Theory located in the Holiday Inn parking lot. If your not in a hurry is the key word here. The staff is very friendly and the fries are some of the best around.

Lettuce wrap instead of a bun.

We had out of town company visiting and burgers was the craving. We decided to try a new place, but we don't expect to go back. The concept is nice but execution was weak. The highlight was the fries and the bacon on the burgers. The meat is a blend and had a different taste, it wasn't bad - just different. I can't really say why we weren't impressed, we just weren't. We had a new server, but she was trying hard and the rest of the staff helped her out.

Farm fresh burger

A fair option for lunch burger spot. Although not my first choice the variety and build to your own style make it a middle ground if you're in a party with picky eaters. They have regular beef patties (single or double order), chicken, and veggie/portabello mushroom options. Everything that comes out is cooked to your expectation and absolutely edible. Don't forget to pair with a beer, the burgers are on the smaller side. I ordered the farm fresh burger, the cheese was the highlight that added the saltiness and delivered most of the flavor. The onion rings were huge, fries were crispy, and salad was a standard house salad with a side of ranch. A bit on the pricier side and with so many other options available in the area.

Great outdoor patio!

Who doesn't love a juicy burger with a great special sauce all served outside in a casual setting? Great service, nice drink menu and the burgers are a two napkin juicy! Onion rings non greasy too. Travel all day and need a good burger? Here's the spot!

Build your own: veggie patty, sauted onions, mushrooms, lettuce and tomato! Yum!! Side of their seasoned fries!

I really like this place! The menu is fun. Many different options for premade burgers, salads and soups. But the fun part is make your own burger! You get to chose your protein (veggie patty and portabello's avail for the non meat eater), pick your veggies, cheese, condiments and extras like a fried egg! So they have vegan and veggie options! The service was also great. We stopped on our way to a concert so told our server we were in a hurry and he did not disappoint! Got our food, ate well, paid our check and gone! Side note: there is an affiliation with Holiday Inn which I think is a brilliant concept for travelers. Don't have to eat at the cheezy diner next door or the basic hotel kitchens when traveling. Next time out around Arcadia area look this place up and give it a try!

Veggie burger wrapped in lettuce with boursin cheese
Chandra J.

Went here with a friend yesterday for lunch after seeing this place open a few years ago before leaving AZ. I wasn't super hungry, so I struggled with either just getting a soup and fries or a burger. I decided to go with their veggie burger wrapped in lettuce with the boursin cheese. The waitress, who was so nice and attentive despite running the bar and tending to tables, recommended it. When I asked her what the soup of the day was she also recommended it because she had just tried it. It was a tomato based soup with beans, tomatoes, and a sprinkle of onions. She was really sweet to bring me a cup with my meal and it was delicious. The veggie burger was nothing short of amazing. It was cooked just right and had tons of seasoning--so yummy! The cheese made everything pop and I could just go on eating, but my stomach made me stop. The fries were also amazing with a nice hint of salt and crispness! I could've made a meal just out of the fries! Despite the restaurant being a little crowded our waitress was kind and so attentive! I definitely would come back here for the yummu food and great service!

Build Your Own Burger, Coleslaw
Orlando M.

Actually the burger was very good. I liked that they had leaf wraps available for build your own. However the coleslaw was not good, it seemed like something was going bad. Like others say the bread was definitely a weak link for the price of this food. The bar server was professional and quick, and the place was chill casual bar vibe overall.

Decent but not with the price. For a $15 burger I expect a lot. This $15 burger is not justified. Service wasn't too good either.

Beginners Luck is just that kind of place. Food 4.5/5 - I ordered the Crab and Shrimp Roll with fries. It was excellent and quite a portion. More than enough for a second meal. Loaded with shrimp and crab. I wasn't expecting a crab and shrimp salad but rather a mix of the two warm and buttered in the roll but it was very tasty as served. The only part that was a little off was the burned in brand on the roll the cold salad was served in. The charred flavor with the salad was a little off putting. I just pinched off the burnt bits from the bread. Excellent fries! Service 4/5 - I sat at the bar. Bartender was nice, offered regular menu and restaurant week menu as well. Meal was brought by manager, fries were still piping hot. Bartender and manager checked back to make sure meal was to my liking. Ambiance 5/5 - Cute place. A lot of nice outdoor seating and seating inside but a bit less. All in all a great place with a nice complement of offerings! I will return. If only they had a fly through with rotisserie chicken to go, I would never think of Bandera again.

We were seated inside quickly - it was a slow afternoon. Signs on the door let you know they have A/C however they left the front door propped open so it wasn't that cool inside. We each had a cocktail and they were pretty good - him a Painkiller on Main (he said it was good) and I had Ranch Water Paloma but asked them to mix tequila and mezcal rather than have me choose one over the other. Quite tasty! We just did apps: Fondue Blanc served with linguisa, pretzel bread and roasted cauliflower. The fondue was especially delicious with the cauliflower. We also had pimento cheese served with potato chips and chicharrones. I've only ever tasted grocery store made pimento cheese and was not a fan but when I tasted the pimento cheese at Beginner's Luck, I instantly became enamored. Totally enjoyed it with the chips. I recommend stopping in for a bite when wandering Old Town.

The outdoor patio is beautiful, with string lights, a brick fireplace, and surrounding trees that create a warm, inviting atmosphere. It's a fantastic setting for dinner, especially when the weather is nice. We had quite the spread, including the Chicken Nachitos, Green Chile Cornbread, LGO Short Rib Tacos, Ribeye Tacos, and Green Chile Burger. The nachitos were piled high with chicken, melted cheese, guacamole, fresh pico de gallo, and jalapeños. Although they're no longer listed on the current menu, I wanted to include them because they were part of our experience. I actually appreciate how Chelsea's Kitchen changes its menu over time, giving guests something different to look forward to while keeping some familiar favorites. The Green Chile Burger was another standout in presentation, featuring roasted green chiles and melted cheddar, with macaroni and cheese on the side. The short ribs and grilled ribeye came with colorful accompaniments, including guacamole, pico de gallo, and a kale salad. The Green Chile Cornbread was also beautifully presented in a small skillet with a golden crust and butter on the side. We also tried the Brussels Sprout Salad with manchego, almonds, dried fruit, and bacon, which offered a nice contrast to the heartier dishes. The cocktails were thoughtfully presented, and we finished the evening with key lime pie and a refreshing sorbet. Beyond the food, the patio is what makes Chelsea's Kitchen particularly memorable. Between the fireplace, warm lighting, and lively but comfortable atmosphere, it's the kind of place where you can easily spend an entire evening catching up with friends or family. The service here is always amazing and feels like a concierge level service. Overall, Chelsea's Kitchen offers a wonderful combination of Southwestern-inspired dishes, generous portions, and a beautiful outdoor dining experience. I especially appreciate a restaurant that continues evolving its menu rather than keeping everything the same year after year. Definitely a place worth revisiting to see what's new!

Afterwards, he mentioned that he tasted it and agreed about our comments- I appreciate that level of attention. Shortly after, the food arrived. Spicy pork tacos for me, and BLTA for my wife. The tacos looked a little overdressed. I was so wrong. Flavor and texture were balanced perfectly. The tortillas were firm, but again, perfectly suited to the juicy pork, that had a teriyaki vibe. Sprouts, carrot and cucumber toppings worked well, despite my expectations. The BLTA was HUGE. Great flavor. Both entrees were ordered with sweet potato fries. Unusual cut to them, but seasoned perfectly. I paired mine with chipotle aioli and ate every last one. I really love the aesthetic of this place. First of all it's tucked on the back corner of a strip mall. You wouldn't know it was care without looking, even though there is a small patio that wraps around. The dining room is kind of a great mixture that stuff it's very industrial working with lots of concrete with open duct work, but it also has a lovely tufted Bank at and crystal chandeliers. The perfect balance and I love it. You can see into the kitchen which I also like. Our server was delightful, and I loved the attentiveness, like making sure to move the curtains when the light was hitting in an odd way. I started with a delicious drink that I think was called Mezcal Orange Fizz. It was yummy! For the first course I chose the Salmon Crudo. It had a citrus dressing and crispy rice chip. It was absolutely delicious, but very tiny. I could have licked the plate because the dressing was so yummy. My friend had the gazpacho, which she said was very good With main course I chose the Garlic-Lemon Scallops and Corn. It was four delicious scallops on polenta garnished with popcorn. What a cool surprise! It was really good! My friend had the short ribs which she seemed to like as well. For dessert, we both chose the key lime tart. It was a little bit of heaven on a plate! I really enjoyed it. The portion sizes were appropriate - - what we probably should be eating rather than the huge portions we normally get. I was able to finish everything, and I left full but not stuffed. I did remove a star because I did not like that they charged a gratuity on a check for just one person. I normally tip a minimum of 25%, but they added 18%. I just left it. I understand the need to include the gratuity with a larger party (somehow the server always seems to get the short end on those larger parties). I don't know if that's a normal thing, or a restaurant week thing because, to be honest, hubby always pays the bill. I do recommend this hidden gem of a place. It has a lot going for it and I've always enjoyed my visits here.
