Love this location! For $6, a huge salad with fresh ingredients and an easy lunch. They even have a breakfast/lunch combo deal for $10. Today I got the harvest salad with tofu and my friend got the bbq each with steak

A love Salad and Go, not only for their salads, but also their wraps. Over the years, I've ordered wraps numerous times. My only complaint is that they aren't properly folded (or include a "half wrapping") and tend to fall apart. Not fun when you're trying to avoid getting everything all over your shirt and there's no fork included. I must admit, on my most recent visit, the person who folded it, put it together in such a way that it kept its shape, at least at first. Apparently, that comes at a cost ... there was a whole in the middle of the wrap, so it fell apart, anyway. SAG: If you're reading this, please include a "half wrap paper" and train your employees to properly fold. This would create a much more pleasant User experience at minimal cost. Your speed of service and fresh ingredients otherwise warrant five stars that I just can't give without these minor improvements.

From Chicago and my two college aged sons swear by this place, so I had to try it. They say it is the most efficient, cost effective, healthy lunch you can get... and they might be right! I got the BBQ ranch salad with chicken. The salad is definitely a meal. The combination of ingredients works well together and the BBQ ranch is a very different flavor---I liked it, but I couldn't eat it every day. Healthy (4/5) Costly (5/5) Tasty (3.5/5) If you're looking for an inexpensive way to mix it up, give Salad and Go a try : )

    Nasty chicken

Whatever they've done to the chicken is disgusting. I've gotten two buffalo chicken salads over the span of 3 weeks. I got the second on in hopes that the chicken was just weird the first time- nope. It's not the same and it's quite literally disgusting. Mushy, flavorless and clearly not freshly made.

We shared a Berry Avocado Quinoa Bowl and a Perfectly Grilled Cheese. They even plated them separately for us! (2 plates with half a grilled cheese and French fries on each and 2 bowls with our Berry Avocado quinoa! So sweet and helpful!) Everything was very delicious--fries were seasoned and crispy! The grilled cheese and sweet and salty (they use their spiced pear bread, a delicious four cheese blend and bacon). Quinoa bowl was very hearty! The space was cozy and not too loud--my friend and I were able to catch up without having to raise out voices. Cannot wait to come back to try the rest of their menu!

I ordered one of the side salads but I asked if I could have them add fresh pear to it because of course the name of the place is Perfect Pear Bistro so I was naturally craving pears. The ambience was cute and classy. I sat on the patio because it was gorgeous outside, but I did take a peek inside and it has a low lit upscale rustic vibe. There was plenty left in the salad after I housed my sandwich (elegantly) and I finally had to tap out and get a to-go box. Lovely little stop, would come back.

I really love the aesthetic of this place. First of all it's tucked on the back corner of a strip mall. You wouldn't know it was care without looking, even though there is a small patio that wraps around. The dining room is kind of a great mixture that stuff it's very industrial working with lots of concrete with open duct work, but it also has a lovely tufted Bank at and crystal chandeliers. The perfect balance and I love it. You can see into the kitchen which I also like. Our server was delightful, and I loved the attentiveness, like making sure to move the curtains when the light was hitting in an odd way. I started with a delicious drink that I think was called Mezcal Orange Fizz. It was yummy! For the first course I chose the Salmon Crudo. It had a citrus dressing and crispy rice chip. It was absolutely delicious, but very tiny. I could have licked the plate because the dressing was so yummy. My friend had the gazpacho, which she said was very good With main course I chose the Garlic-Lemon Scallops and Corn. It was four delicious scallops on polenta garnished with popcorn. What a cool surprise! It was really good! My friend had the short ribs which she seemed to like as well. For dessert, we both chose the key lime tart. It was a little bit of heaven on a plate! I really enjoyed it. The portion sizes were appropriate - - what we probably should be eating rather than the huge portions we normally get. I was able to finish everything, and I left full but not stuffed. I did remove a star because I did not like that they charged a gratuity on a check for just one person. I normally tip a minimum of 25%, but they added 18%. I just left it. I understand the need to include the gratuity with a larger party (somehow the server always seems to get the short end on those larger parties). I don't know if that's a normal thing, or a restaurant week thing because, to be honest, hubby always pays the bill. I do recommend this hidden gem of a place. It has a lot going for it and I've always enjoyed my visits here.

We visited Jewel's bakery and Café today for the first time and I RAN to Yelp to leave this review…read more One of our family members was recently diagnosed with celiac disease, and we are learning the ropes of a gluten-free life. Going to Jewel's cafe was the most stress-free dining experience we have had in weeks. We ordered onion rings as an appetizer because they have been dearly missed for fear of cross-contamination in other fryers. I had the March special corn, beef skillet in honor of St. Patrick's Day and my dining companion had pancakes. Just the other day they said the things that they missed the most were crispy edged pancakes like the ones from Cracker Barrel and onion rings. Problem solved and all of the food was delicious. We splurged on some bakery treats to go. The macarons are excellent and I'm told the chocolate mint cupcake is epic. The real star of the bakery case is the cinnamon roll. The flavor is outstanding, texture is very good though has some of that GF crumbliness and it is not dry, thank goodness. It's really big and definitely enough for sharing. The bad news for me is that Jewel's is far from our house so we won't be able to go all the time. The wait on a Saturday at 10:30 am was about 40 minutes and they don't have the waitlist feature. They do take reservations for parties of 6 or more. It's spendier than traditional cafes but no more expensive than other GF options and all of their inputs are more expensive than traditional spots so that makes sense to me. In other words, this spot is more than worth the trip and the wait even if both are long because you will get good, safe food at a fair price.

Food is great. I always want to pick more than one dish. If…read moreyou are pressed for time, order it as take out. Can be loud inside.
