Great food and friendly staff. Are here every night while on a work trip - food was that good!

This is one of my favorite burger places in Reno. There are a wide variety of customizable burgers that are all great and provide something for everybody. Want your burger as a lettuce wrap? Done. Want some tasty Garlic Fries? Done. Want to get something from their drive through? Done (though it is cooked to order so it'll take a little while longer than most places with a drive through). My wife and I come here with friends and family so our party regularly includes a gluten free person, a dairy free person, and a vegetarian and they have all been able to find something they enjoyed a lot. I regularly get their Southwest Turkey Burger and love it. Their Sweet Potato Fries are really good. We'll get Sweet Potato Fries and Regular Fries with the intent to share but we struggle to share once they show up. Their Shakes are really good, though we try to not get them too often otherwise I'd need to get to the gym a lot more (Or get new pants). The staff is friendly and the environment is fun. It is a great burger joint and if you are looking for somewhere to go in Reno or on your way though, I couldn't recommend this place more. read more

I've eaten here two times in the past month. The bison burger and the normal burger were both good. The sweet potato fries are good but very small portions, even for the large. Definitely not fast food place. They have some good beers on tap. They are open late. Atmosphere and cleanliness not the best. read more

~ If you're looking for a unique burger then check this place out. They always have a special stuffed burger. Gluten free options as well. They also offer sweet potato fries as a choice. Good food and great service. I travel for work and stay at the Hampton Inn across the street. It's a convenient choice when I'm hungry and don't feel like going too far. Only thing to keep in mind is that they don't take American Express. As I mentioned previously I am a business traveler and use the company American Express to pay for meals and lodging. It would be nice if the owners started taking this method of payment. Other than that, I don't have any complaints about this place. Oh and they even offer beers for those evenings when you just want a cold one :) read more

Holy Jesus....heard about this place on a local radio interview, so the wife and I drove up from Carson to check it out. We split two different burgers: the Italian Stallion and their stuffed burger of the week, along with a basket of sweet potato fries and a couple of beers. The Italian Stallion was good, especially w the chipotle mayo. Good...maybe not a 45 min drive and triple D good, but tasty. But that stuffed burger (smoked cheddar, pulled pork, onion straws)....the stuff of myth and legend. Definitely one of the top 3 burgers I have had in my life. I will be back...weekly. read more

I had sweet potato fries, chipotle mayo, and the trainwreck burger and I can honestly say that it was the best burger/fries combination that I've ever had. It's obvious that the ingredients are all vey high quality and that the menu is creatively assembled. The staff was friendly and the food was prepared pretty quickly. They offer pitchers, beer, and milkshakes as well. I haven't had the milkshakes so I can't speak for them, but they look really good. Overall, I can't think of a negative thing to say about this place. read more

Only my third time here. The first time it was still Tahoe Burger and the service was horrible. The second time we got take out and it was not bad. Unfortunately this third time didn't win them any points and may be my last time. I stopped by on a Sunday night and went through the drive-thru. I live about 5-7 minutes from Burger Me, depending on traffic. I ordered the burger with bleu cheese and grilled onions with a regular order of sweet potato fries. The bun was good and sturdy, and the grilled onions and bleu cheese were good but the burger patty was overcooked and not juicy. After a few more bites of the burger, I moved on to the fries. More disappointment. The fries were limp and barely warm enough to eat. They tasted like they were reheated in the microwave. Not tasty at all. Since they tasted like they were already microwaved, I figured it wouldn't do any harm to re-microwave them. I had to throw them into my microwave just to heat them up and got out some of my own bbq sauce to make them edible. On top of all this, the whole meal was overpriced. So a vegan walks into a burger joint... And is mainly pleasantly surprised. I used to go to the Truckee location when I lived there a few years ago. To date, I have only sampled their vegetarian burger and the 'Big Salad'...which is only $5.50 and true to it's name. You can also add a veggie burger to the top of it, which is a nice touch. Last night, my boyfriend and I stopped by the drive-through to pick up a Big Dippa (roast beef, onion strings, swiss with au jus & horseraddish creme/$9.95) and a veggie burger kid's meal ($4) for the 34-year old who prefers a less than adult-sized meal. I would recommend adding one or more of their additional burger sauces to jazz up the veggie burger, but as a vegan, I have to say that the patty itself is very unique. This is not a generic Morning Star patty to offer one vegan/vegetarian option at a meat-heavy location; it is a hand-made, soft, and over-sized alternative. I would love if they were able to offer a vegan cheese option to top this, and the bun was a bit dry. I think you would be free to order any of the preset burger combos and substitute the veggie patty for a more customized experience, so it just depends on your preference. I appreciate that Burger Me uses local meat and vegetable options, where available. I think it is important that those consuming their food, whether of the meat/dairy-based diet or not, to think about where the hell it is coming from. My vice, Coca-Cola, was unavailable, but Pepsi came in to sub. Beer is available in-house, and the drive-through was a nice option with an understandably slightly longer wait than a typical drive-through. read more

Can't go wrong with any of there burgers, but other very delicious burgers can be found around Reno for 3-4$ less. If you're over that way and want a burger, it's a good stop. I'll give this 4stars simply for reason that for a "fast food" burger the burger quality was very good. Far as presentation burger was certainly just thrown together made it very much more messy than needed to be. Considering a good burger will be messy so no need to make it worse. We were not really impressed with this place. Went here with a $20 gift card and we left satisfied but glad that we did not pay for the meal. I ordered a caesar salad with a burger patty on top. The meat was decent but the salad was old wilted lettuce and packaged caesar dressing - unimpressive and unappetizing. My boyfriend ordered a burger with fries - it was fine. Nothing impressive about either. It's fast food quality at dine in prices... for a quick bite, it's fine, but we likely won't be back. read more

I've been to this location a handful of times in the last couple years and it is super consistent across the board; the food quality, the customer service, and the cleanliness of the restaurant are all top notch. I generally order whatever the stuffed burger special is and of course a side of sweet potato or garlic fries. I think I might like the garlic fries just a smidge better. They have a couple of dipping sauce options by the soda fountain, in case you're like me and you use food as an excuse to eat ranch. The stuffed burger is generally beef (sometimes Bison) with some sort of smelly-tasty cheese and bacon shoved inside it. Super good, super filling. I've come to the point where I order it sans bun in a bowl because I know I can't eat all of that. Of course, I could skip the fries but no, no I can't. The prices are a little high but completely worth it in my opinion for quality meat from somewhat local farms. A couple weeks back, I took a weekend drive to Verdi and decided a burger sounded good. I pulled off I-80 and into the drive through where I was greeted promptly by the friendly voice behind the curtain. Presented with many selections, I narrowed them down to the qualifications for my dream burger- wheat bun, single patty, cheddar cheese and sauteed mushrooms. And A side of fries and a diet coke, because you always have a diet coke with this kind of food- right? :) I pulled up to the window and waited patiently while the chefmaster grilled up my order. I was pleasantly surprised when I learned they'd be able to hook me up with a side of A-1, which ensured my journey to Burger Nirvana would be a delicious ride. I received my order and was presented with a massive hill of freshly cooked, "little bit well" done fries- salty, crunchy and OH MY GOD YUM!!!!!!!!! I drove on for 10 more miles before I realized that the burger had... Gasp...Onions! (Onions are one of the free sides, if you ask. I don't ask. I ask "Don't!".) I tried to call back but the number on the receipt was not answered. I tried the number on another review site and it was disconnected. I decided that the promise of Burger Nirvana was important enough to stop by on my way home and headed back to the restaurant. Once I arrived, I walked inside with my receipt and my burger. There was no one at the front counter, but the grillmaster saw my hungry look and asked if he could help me. I asked if they normally mix in onions, I can't eat them and he was very gracious and apologetic and immediately started making my dream burger. While I waited (because REAL burgers don't cook in 90 seconds), the owner stepped up to the register and asked if he could help me out. I pointed out that the number on the receipt wasn't answered and that the number on the review site wasn't updated. He apologized, we tracked down what numbers went where and they handed me another card, amazingly identical to the one they handed me when I first stopped by and then completely forgot about as I was falling into a french fry coma- yes those fries were THAT good! They offered me another soda while I waited and I was very impressed by their friendliness and their willingness to get me to burger bliss. The moment came where they handed me my new Nirvana. I took it to my car, started in on the fries again, and then stopped myself. I pulled the large, juicy burger from it's thick paper wrapper, (checked for errant onions- none of the mushrooms on this burger even knew what onions were), bathed the burger in A-1 sauce and sunk my teeth into a tangy, juicy, meaty cheesy bite of satisfaction. Burger Nirvana had been reached. So after all this, I'm a fan. I really appreciated their friendly service from the beginning and their willingness to go the extra mile (with the free onions) and then make Me happy when that distance wasn't what I wanted. The burger was great, admittedly, and enough for me for 2 meals. But the fries? The fries will keep me coming back. read more

Recent transplants to Reno, we were really hoping to love this place. People tend to have loyalties to certain burger chains and since we have lived mostly in the East we are traditionally Shake Shack kind of people. I ordered the BBQ bison burger and the hubs had a classic cheeseburger with American. Burgers were not bad, not great, just not much flavor in either unfortunately. My patty was dwarfed by the toppings and pretty pink for medium but still lacked any flavor. I figured it was my issue ordering lean bison but then I tried the beef burger the hubs ordered and it was really just kind of boring. Sweet potato fries were excellent and it was very family friendly. Out three year old was entertained and we could drink beer so that alone was worth a star but we probably won't be regulars. read more

I used to hit this place often, because it fulfilled the cravings I had for their burgers that could only be obtained up in Truckee for the longest time It was cause for celebration when they opened a branch here in Reno. I'm afraid it's going downhill, though. I ordered the Southwest Turkey Burger as a take out lunch. I got back to work on the other side of town, I found out the turkey burger was undercooked. Cheaper than Truckee! We are still in search for the best burger place in Reno. We have tried Truckee location once, we liked it OK but felt way overpriced. Reno location is a lot CHEAPER. Like Bison, or Ahi Tuna burgers are at least $5 less. They seem to keep the quality the same at both locations. So far, I liked their burger the best in town among fast food restaurants (we like 775 the best of all though) . They offer fair size 4.5oz natural meat pate, wheat bun, and my hubby enjoyed chicken burger called Dirty Bird. But 4stars because their fries are overcooked shoestring fries (I like thick fries), and overcooked heavily battered onion rings. Fresh onions are served freely at the corner but all chopped up so it makes it harder to put them in burgers. Overall, I like Juicy Burger better. Although they don't have whole wheat buns, or natural meat. They offer more classic burgers (good size pate cooked to order, soft buns, thick fries done perfectly). Not overpriced, just too much greasy smell in the restaurant. I was hoping that they will get rid of previous restaurant (Tahoe Burger) decor and have lots of metal sheets to make you feel like you're in someones garage just like the one in Truckee. But it was not the case. Little disappointed. We will go back to Burger Me again depending on our mood. At least we don't have to drive all the way to Truckee! =) read more

This is my first review in Reno Nevada. & I am very pleased with the food here. I'm even more static about the service. Walked in got a chance to meet Joe who was really nice and explain the whole menu to us. I got myself a bison burger and it was remarkably delicious. My girlfriend got the Dirty Bird and she said it was good. Definitely recommend the French fries as well. This place is close to work so I'll be here very often. Thanks again everybody. read more

First off yes, except to pay $3-$10 for a burger and an additional $2-3 for fries. As a cheapskate, I only went in with a deal chicken coupon in hand but was so impressed was willing to pay full price. I don't understand why people give midtown eats with their lack luster food and high prices good reviews yet dismiss this place as too expensive. Midtown eats just has pretentious decor, mediocre food, and bad service. Burger me on the other hand, nothing pretentious about it. You could bring your kids here (if you don't feel like feeding your kids hormone injected meat). Good and relatively good for you food and great service. At least here you get what you pay for, good food and good service without a surcharge for yuppie decor. The best sweet potato fries in Reno, yes even better than great basin's sweet potato fries. If I feel like overeating, I'll order 2 burgers off the kids menu (Veggie and Turkey burger) and my sweet potato fries. Otherwise, one gourmet adult non -beef burger will do if I don't feel like packing on the weight. Both of my go to meal options cost around $10. Maybe people expect waiter service for a $10 dollar burger meal, I just don't get why people are so harsh while giving other places with similar price tags for burgers a pass. read more

Yum. 50% of the time, after camping and drinking all weekend, E-Dawg and I stop here on our way back for some solid grub to get our psyches ready for Monday morning. Ahi burger, while pricy, is always my choice... I like to get the lettuce wrap option which even though it's runny coz of the juice leaves room in my carb budget for their BOMB sweet potato fries. I'm pretty picky, but these fries are worth it. Also like the condiment bar, where I can decide if I want BBQ sauce w/said fries (go with the chipotle mayo!!!!!). Pretty good unsweetened iced tea too. Had a blue cheese cole slaw here once that was not so good, but even E loves their cheeseburgers and garlic fries. read more

Nice to stumble across a good burger spot. First thing I notice is the Guy Fieri, host of Food Network's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives banner on front. Ok have to try. We get the bison burger side of onion rings and turkey burger and fries. To our delight the turkey burger was juicy and tasty. Fries were decent some were not so crispy. The bison burger was soft and juicy. Overall place was clean. I just don't like those wood tables covered with lacquer, after awhile they just stay sticky even after cleanings. I just used couple of napkins to rest forearms on. Service was good. Women at counter was polite and server brought food out to table. read more

My family and I have been coming to burger me for nearly 2 years, and come once a month! The staff has always been fantastic! Great service and up beat environment, and kid friendly! Ingredients and tip of the line, gluten free options, and lettuce wraps! The bision bbq burger is so tasty, but so is everything else here! Worth trying, you won't be disappointed! I waited 30+ minutes in the drive thru line tonight to have my order wrong. I'm pretty disappointed with the dry burger and had zero pink coloration to it when I asked for medium rare. If it wasn't for me reminding them I got a drink they would have missed that as well. read more

My boyfriend and our little one were in there just last night for Memorial Day, let me say, food was great! Last time we visited this place it was Tahoe Burger. (More than 4 years ago). The food will definitely speak for itself and will show its quality when one considers the prices! There is always room to improve though, customer service, if the restaurant focuses on that everything (I am assuming) would run much better. The good: one of the employees helped my boyfriend with the food out as my daughter and I were sitting outside, loved that! The not so good: as soon as we arrived we could tell they were understaffed... Which happens! But, if it would of been addressed I think all of us in line would of accepted waiting in line a little better. Being someone that has worked in customer service, the customer would rather know what is going in the just waiting there. Other than that, great place!! We will definitely be coming back! read more

Pretty good burgers. I used the online ordering feature on Yelp. It would have been better if I was informed that the order was ready rather than wondering. The estimated time was 30 to 45 minutes even though I ordered at opening time. I am sure my order was ready way before that but it would have been nice to be notified when the order was ready. Other than that, I highly recommend the burgers and sweet potato fries. Delicious!! read more
