Unfortunately, this review couldn't quite make it to 4 stars. That doesn't mean I wouldn't give it another shot. I needed a quick lunch and decided to check out this spot. I had a craving for a smash burger (like Nola Sliders) and this was one of the few places open at the time. I didn't have a bad experience, it just wasn't what I hoped for. While the burger tasted fine, it was not a smash burger. I'm not sure if they used the wrong meat, but the burger patties did not have the thin, crispy, seasoned edges that you would expect. It was more along the lines of frozen burger patties that you get from Costco. While those make a great option for the cookout, it doesn't quite work for smash-style patties. The saving grace was that the fries were super crispy! The staff are friendly and the lobby is simply 4 chairs and 2 small tables to wait for your order. The ambiance doesn't really have an inviting vibe. The menu seems a bit jumbled - almost like they aim to be a jack of all trades but a master of none. It wasn't the slowest service, although, I would hate to see what would happen if they had 10 orders in the kitchen at the same time. When ordering delivery, I always try to go for something not hot, that way I'm not diss appointed when it arrives cold. Uber, make your people use hot bags! Anyway this was so good! I was incredibly excited to see this place here on Yelp. It is near my home and many of my friends and Yelp Elite All-Stars had given it rave reviews. When I arrived, it was warm (95 outside). I asked some questions about the menu and the person taking my order was nice. He even got me an ice water while I waited for my food. I give the food I had 3 stars for a few reasons: -I specifically noted I have a pepper allergy when asking what would be a good option and my French fries were COVERED in a Cajun or Chili seasoning. Food shouldn't be seasoned for the smoker who has no tastebuds left. -The fries were also rubbery. They were more like shoestring fries than the ones pictured here on Yelp. -The burger was good but it wasn't really a smash burger. No problem unless you are expecting a smash burger. -Due to the small kitchen, Minimal staffing, substantial mobile orders, and the (in theory) fresh food, it's a longer wait time for food here. They seemed concerned about this and know it's an issue. I appreciate what these folks are trying to do. I will likely go back and try to avoid the spicy food issue next time. I will order ahead. While I was waiting outside I watched a family go to the Mexican restaurant next door, get their food, finish eating, and leave while I'm still waiting. 45 minutes later I'm handed my food. No apologies for the long wait, no explanation. I get to my car and check on the food. Burger, fries, onion rings were soggy and cold. My sandwich was warm though. We got the double smash burger with fries and jalapeno aoli dipping sauce - Very flavorful with seasoned meat and seasoned fries. We came by the other night for our first time to order some takeout! Located in a strip mall, there is plenty of parking out front. This spot specializes in takeout, it is not a dine-in restaurant. They have an interesting menu with a lot of variety, so there's something for everyone. I ordered the spicy chicken ramen (no pickled carrots) and my husband got the loaded mac n cheese. It took about 20 mins for our food to be ready. My husband loved his bowl! The cheese was creamy and it came with big chunks of crispy chicken bites and bacon. Serving size was a little on the smaller side but quality was great. My ramen was also really good! There were several pieces of chicken and lots of noodles to make this pretty filling. It tasted a little spicy at first but it tastes more spicy the longer you eat it. As I neared the end, I almost couldn't finish it because of the spice level. This was without adding any of the extra spicy sauces that came on the side. I typically like spicy foods but this might've been a tad too spicy, even for me--one level down would've been perfect. I didn't see an option for adjusting the spice level on the menu but that might be good to consider. The minibus vast and although a take-out eatery,, patrons, were outside waiting for food. What a great little place. It's unlike anywhere else in town and I recommend giving it a try. After two great visits I knew I needed to leave a review. A few things: -This is a take out restaurant. There is a common seating area outside but nothing inside. -Their hours are limited. Weekdays only and they don't open until 4pm. -The menu is huge. Check it out online before visiting. If you had a hard day at work and you need a quality takeout, give it a try. They use all the takeout apps, or you can call in your order, or simply walk in and order. Great chicken sandwiches, burgers, meatball sandwiches, ramen, macaroni and cheese.......etc. They even have chocolate chip cookies they bake fresh while they prepare your order (if you're not in a hurry). About a week or so ago, I visited Tasteful Tangle for the first time and promised to return, which I did tonight. This time I had their Mac and Marinara with Meatballs and I found this dish superb. The macaroni was cooked properly - not andante, which I don't care for, but softer without being soggy. The marinara was very tasty and well made. The meatballs had a little bit of heat to them which was really, really welcome. The outside of the meatballs were slightly crusty in places, which was just like my Mom used to make them, so they brought back great memories. Tasteful Tangle has a great hole-in-the-wall vibe and some shared outdoor seating. It feels like a true foodie spot which Reno seems to be lacking. I ordered the double smash burger and it was pretty good and definitely a lot of food! The patty's were big, honestly a bit too big for a true smash burger, but still juicy and flavorful. The bun was nice and soft and was overall a pretty good burger. You definitely get your moneys worth with how much food it was. Went to this restaurant months ago and enjoyed their single smashed burger and fries on their patio. Well worth the price. Very good. However, I just ordered a delivery from them at 3:30. Chose again the single smashed burger with tangle chips. The chips looked and tasted like left overs from lunch that day. Disappointing. The cheese was not melted on burger. Unmelted American cheese slice on meat. Yes, of course burger won't be hot when delivered but this was COLD! Perhaps that was why cheese slice was solid and not melted. Very disappointing. My son just moved to a new neighborhood and we were looking on Yelp for a new restaurant to try. I saw scotch eggs on the menu and knew this was the one to try. The two people working were very friendly and the space, though very tiny, was inviting. There is a nice patio area but we ordered to go since it was evening and chilly. The scotch eggs were very good, not exactly as I remember them from my visit in Scotland but tasty enough to hold me over til my next Scottish visit! My son got one of the Mac-n-Cheese entrees and we also ordered a couple burgers for his roommates and me. All good!! I've been to this place a few times now and I haven't had anything miss yet. From talking to them during one of my orders they had a handful of people complain about things being too spicy so nothing is really spicy that I've tried. I avoid any of the "spicy" dishes since there really isn't any spice to them, but literally everything else that I've had there is absolutely amazing. Ordered the Chicken Ramen. Please take this off your menu if you don't know how to cook Ramen. It was literally Top Shelf ramen in a bland broth, with a boiled egg cut in half and carrots. An Ajitsuke Tamago egg was not even used , I'm truly surprised someone would sell this as Ramen. read more

Found this complete gem on accident and I couldn't be happier. The food is great and the Tangled Up Coffee they offer is now my new favorite drink. It's a cute little cozy spot with great workers and I love the different type of menu. It's refreshing to see something new and unique open up in Reno. Tried the Spicy Chicken Ramen, and wow.
