I was making a quick trip through the Stone Hill Town Center and the craving for a Double Double hit me like a train. My order at an In-N-Out is simple: burger. Their burgers are so satisfying I don't need their mediocre (sorry In-N-Out truthers) fries. Sometimes I'll grab a drink or a shake, but this time all I needed was that burger. The service during the lunch rush was pretty speedy and in about five minutes after ordering inside, I had my bag in my hand, and I was out the door. The staff was friendly and on-point and the inside looked like every In-N-Out ever. Every In-N-Out has been consistent. The lettuce, tomato, and onions are always a solid ratio to the two patties and cheese they throw down. They never overdo it on their sauce either. I annihilated that sucker in my car like the champion I am, and frankly, it uplifted my mood for the rest of the day. Shoutout In-N-Out! RIYL: Some of the best fast food burgers a Hamilton can buy

Two minutes later my food was in my hands while everyone else was still stuck in that long line. So here is the tip: Get the app. Set up your fave meal and your payment method ahead of time. This location is in the Manor shopping center (still under development), but a few businesses--including this Chick-fil-A--are already open. There's a drive-thru, but I recommend walking in! The staff greeted us as we walked in and were incredibly helpful throughout the ordering process. The team member who rang us up was especially polite and made the whole experience smooth and welcoming. We ordered: 2 Kale Crunch Salads 12-piece Grilled Nuggets Spicy Chicken Sandwich Large Waffle Fries We grabbed a booth in the spacious dining area--plenty of seating for all group sizes, plus a play area for kids, which is a great touch. The staff brought our food right to our table, but there's also the option to order by scanning a QR code if you prefer. Everything was fresh and lived up to the hype! Fuddruckers Slaughter Lane -- Absolute Burger Victory! Just…read morecrushed a half-pound Mushroom Swiss at the Fuddruckers on W Slaughter Ln (415 W Slaughter Ln, Austin) and it delivered BIG time! First bite = pure chaos in the best way. Juices immediately started running down my chin. Had to grab a napkin mid-bite because this thing was that juicy. Medium-rare on a thick half-pounder? Chef's kiss. ‍ The meat was cooked perfectly and the mushroom-Swiss combo was outstanding. The wedges? Seasoned to perfection. Crispy, flavorful, and exactly what you want next to a burger this juicy. No complaints here! Toppings bar setup: You build it yourself (lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions + mustard or mayo). I went mustard . The onions were fresh and firm, which really elevated everything. Lettuce and tomato had been sitting a bit longer than ideal, but once I stacked it all together? One of the best burgers I've had in a while. Service was average (about 10 minutes for my order + the family's kids meals), but nothing that ruined the experience. Worth it for the payoff. Final verdict: Juicy, flavorful, satisfying half-pounder that hit the spot. I'll be back for another one of these. If you're near South Austin and craving a solid burger, this is the move.

I have to say that the service and food here has increasingly gotten better throughout the years. Its so great to see them still standing and serving burger lovers, like me, after all of these years. Great seating inside with booths and even long tables for large groups/parties to sit at. For the burgers, there are plenty of options and sizes of burger patties depending on what you want. You can customize and order how you want your burger with any type of cheese or additions like bacon or even onion rings. The kitchen staff are super consistent with their burgers and fries as they are all made-to-order and makes it all fresh and delicious for you. I love the two (2) soda machines they have here as you can also customize what you want to drink. I love finding the Hi-C drinks and customizing it with toppers like creme or making it a sparkling drink. The vegetable buffet area where you get all your hamburger fixin's is always clean, presentable, and fully stocked. I even love that they offer two (2) hot queso/cheeses in cauldrons as well - a regular and a spicy jalapeno one. Parking is plentiful here and never an issue as it shares (and is owned!) by Luby's Cafeteria next door.
