If you're looking for a good-quality sub, this is the place! They have quite a good selection from the menu to choose from. I had trouble deciding which one to get, but the gentleman was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions. It was a nice day and I was in the Triangle looking for something I could take out and eat in the park and a sub was a perfect choice. I got the regular-sized Original Italian with chips and a drink. I got it Mike's way which has lettuce, onion, and tomato. It's dressed with oil and vinegar and some salt and pepper. There was a short line and it was kind of confusing where the line started (it starts all the way in the back of the store). You order and they slice the meats while you are waiting for the folks ahead to choose their toppings. There's seating up front and against the wall. There's a table or two outside but it's facing a parking lot that doesn't get much sunshine so probably not the best for outdoor dining. As I mentioned earlier in the review, the Triangle has a small park in its center where you can get some sun if you want to eat al fresco. As for the sandwich, it's the typical fast food sub. I'd say a little better than Jimmy Johns and way better than Subway. As for fountain drinks they carry Pepsi products and even a couple sugar cane sodas. read more

I Uber'd a sandwich from the Jersey Mike's at 4601 North Lamar Blvd., Austin, TX. Not only did they make it incorrectly, they put a ridiculously insane amount of mayonnaise & mustard! So much that it was running out of sides and dripping everywhere. You could barely pick it up. The manager, Sandra, was super rude condescending and very defensive which really didn't make sense to me because it was my sandwich made wrong and my money that was wasted. I asked for the number or email to the corporate office and she refused to give it to me! The young man there was equally rude, he refused to tell me his name or remake my sandwich! I have never been treated so badly at any restaurant ever! I see that this location has fewer stars than the other locations, it's obvious why! The staff could definitely use some training in customer service relations. I frequent the Jersey Mike's in Round Rock and Cedar Park quite frequently and have never had any issues, I mean... it's a sandwich! Take caution before ordering from that location. read more

This fast food place makes very good submarine sandwiches and has excellent home delivery.

This place is poorly ran. Dont know why you set a pickup time if it is never honored. I also stand there watching them make the sandwiches and see them constantly messing up, putting stuff on and off that does not belong, cross contaminating items and overall poor quality control. I will not be coning the this location again. Poor standards all around. No acknowledgment off errors or an attempt to make thing right. The best sub shop chain around! If you've never tried Jersey Mike's, you haven't had a top shelf sub sandwich. These are premium in flavor and ingredients, but without a hefty price tag. You cannot go wrong getting your sub done Mike's way (lettuce, tomato, onion, salt & pepper, oil & vinegar, and herbs). My mouth is watering as I write this review... ...Why do I write reviews before I've eaten breakfast?? The hot subs are good, but in my opinion, the cold subs are so superior that I rarely mess with the hots. I am a reluctant convert to Jersey Mike's but I am a convert. In general, chain subs are not the same as real Eastern subs. I love Subway because you can get everything as a salad. As a sub place, its not so great. Non-Subway chains tend to be pretty weak. Jersey Mike's had two strikes against it over and above being a chain. a) They serve commercial off-the-loaf turkey. b) They put mayo on some of the subs. Mayo on a sub gets you banished from the East Coast and forced to relocate West of the Appalachians. (Your only defense is if the sub is tuna salad or lobster salad - and even then you get a warning.) If you put the mayo on a sub with capicola or mortadella, you can't even pick where you go off the East Coast. They send you to Arkansas with no right ever to leave the state. So I am ordering their club sub, with LOAF TURKEY, ham, MAYO, cheese, veggies, bacon and Mike's mix. I am totally prepping myself for the one star experience. But then, surprise, surprise, the sub was not bad. Bacon covers for a multitude of evils to be sure. But the secret was Mike's mix. Mike's mix is the "good stuff" combo of vinegar, olive oil and spices that goes on every sub on the East Coast. Mike's does not add hots - but hots are optional. Mike's Mix is a fine version of East Coast spice mix, and his mix is good enough to save whatever it is that is underneath it. So the sandwich ended up being pretty good, mayo or no mayo. Meat quality is not amazing at Jersey Mike's but it is decent enough. And they have a wide range of flavor options to make the sandwiches lively So you can probably do well enough to eat at this place. You can actually survive on non-awful subs while you are in Texas, until you get back to Rhode Island and do things right. read more

I don't have a ton of experience with Jersey Mike's - this is the first and only location I've been to. If you are like other Jersey Mikes' locations, this should do just fine. The people are friendly, and the location itself is on the small side but clean and well-stocked. There are a few small patio tables available if you're inclined to eat there. Having only had the vegetarian options, I think the food is just okay. The regular size is enough to fill me up, but nothing particularly stands out about the Veggie sandwich, which I had Mike's Way. Perhaps adding something else would have helped, but I wouldn't know what! I do like that the cheese is super thinly sliced and they include plenty of it. I've also had the Grilled Veggie Wrap, but wasn't much of a fan - seemed way heavy on the lettuce. I'm sure with all their other menu options, Jersey Mike's hits the spot for most people craving a sandwich. I wouldn't be opposed to returning, but many other places have more choices if you have any dietary limitations or even if you prefer a greater selection of bread, greens, or sauces. read more

This is the best sub shop chain in the Triangle area! Something as simple and basic as a turkey and provolone on wheat tastes fantastic with their fresh ingredients. This place is one of my favorite sub shops! I noticed this location when I was in the triangle last week and made note to stop back since the only other options around me are fast food burger or taco places. I was glad to have seen this after having a dinner party at my house and not wanting to make anything for lunch the next day so, I ventured in. I snagged a front row parking spot and there wasn't a line. There were only two ladies working and I always get the Italian sub but, was wavering on getting the grilled pastrami reuben since it was cold out and comfort food felt in order. The gal helping me said that she could make me the Italian sub on the flattop and that it's amazing. I agreed to it and got it Mike's way, added pickles, mayo and went on my way back home. Let me tell you, she wasn't wrong about how good that Italian sub is hot off the grill! It wasn't even soggy when I got it home and the flavors of the meat was enhanced by it being cooked; that coupled with the cold vegetables on top made for exactly what I needed. Terrible customer service! Today I took my daughter this this location in the Triangle (N. Lamar & Guadalupe) for lunch. She ordered a giant sub with chips and giant drink. The cashier rang it up incorrectly and I didn't realize that she did. She asked if I needed the receipt and I said no, so she threw it away. I gave them a 15% tip as I always do when I go in there for lunch. When the order came out, the sandwich was the wrong size, so I brought it to there attention. Wasn't expecting the response that I got. The cashier told me that I ordered it wrong and would have to pay for the additional half of the sandwich. I questioned it, stating "I ordered a giant sandwich and giant drink, I did not make a mistake, you did." She immediately told the person making the sandwich, whispering that I had made a mistake and then she started going through the register receipts to prove that I ordered incorrectly. I was like this is piss poor customer service. You are actually trying to prove I ordered incorrectly? Someone else from the back came out and joined in on the argument as I repeated to them that their customer service was poor and I had even left them a 15% tip for a wrong sandwich and they were still arguing to prove me wrong. When I said I was going to make a formal complaint, one of them stated "What else do you want from us? We're giving you the free sandwich, don't you want it? I said, you told me that I had to pay for it, but that is not the point. You stood their and tried to call me a liar in front of the other customers and took the time to try and look up the transaction and ignore me while I tried to explain to you what had happened. Then all three of them said, what you want us to say that you weren't wrong? FINE YOU WERE RIGHT, You HAPPY NOW. I even tried to explain that looking at what she input into the register didn't prove anything since she put the order in, not me. I tried to say, look, you got the drink right, so it safe to say that I did order a giant sub and she just made a mistake. They ignored me and kept talking over me and refused to acknowledge that maybe they did make a mistake. I have never been into any establishment and had a response like that. I told them that I was going to report them and also let all of my staff that worked in the area know not to go their anymore..... They did not care and was like so what. I ordered an original Italian sub from this location using DoorDash. Usually, the sandwiches from another location have been delicious. But, this time, the sandwich left a lot to be desired. The outside of the top of the bread was extra hard. Like the bread was at least a day old. They applied too much oil and vinegar because the bottom of the bread was soggy. I found it difficult to taste the meat because the bread was too hard. If this does not change, I will stop ordering sandwiches from them. read more

The first time I got a sandwich to go here it was pretty awesome- good bread, nice amount of veggies and cold cuts etc. The second time I ordered the exact same sandwich to go and it was almost inedible. They drenched it in SO much olive oil, that it soaked through the entire crust of hoagie bread and made the veggies soggy and unappetizing. Literally, every time I tried to take a bite out of my sandwich it all came squirting out because it was so lubed up it couldn't stay in the bread! I ended up feeding a 10.00 sandwich to my freakin dogs. Won't be coming here again. They really need to pay better attention to how much oil they squirt on these sandwiches. My advice?
