Brand new Whataburger in Elgin! Always great food and sides, shakes and breakfast food. This location seems to already be busy but I know Elgin is excite to have them! read more

Burger was good fries were good for a late night munchies run it would definitely be at the top of my list, it is just what hits the spot at the midnight hour. If you know you know... read more

Service is slow, order will likely be wrong and the food gets cold in a concerning amount of time. Not every experience is bad or unpleasant but it's def hit or miss. Check your order before leaving and make sure you're not starving or on a time limit and you should be good. read more

My wife and I have stopped here 5 or 6 times now, hoping for improvement. It hasn't happened. The food is good but average compared to other Whataburger locations. Constantly out of coffee during breakfast hours. The service and hospitality is terrible. read more

Got home and completely wrong order placing on line. I was the only person in the line ordering for the app. I called later to report to be nice and the person wasn't interested in who got the wrong order and said "I apologize" and just hung the phone up. This is the second review I have written. It is the worst fast food place I've ever seen. read more

Food took forever. I hate when they have people pull forward. I know it's to stop the timer as to how long it's taking them to get customers served. Especially since I literally orders a kid's burger and a jr burger, that's it. It took 11 minutes. I've never had these options before but I was disappointed. The burger patties were pitiful. The staff were decent however I'm not coming back. read more

Whataburger - Jr hamburger - Fast Food Near Me - Elgin, Texas

Claims to be a 24 hour business. Sat behind a car in the drive-through for 10 minutes. Called the store and the worker said they're running behind but almost finished. Sat for another 10 minutes and left. I shouldn't have to wait in a drive through for 20 minutes and no one answer the drive through intercom. read more

No one seems to been in charge of getting the orders filled in a reasonable time. Don't go here if you are expecting the normal quick service from other whataburgers read more

Awesome as always! Just glad they have on in this small town, food is good and if the kid is happy with his meal I am too. Two thumbs up read more

Whataburger - the exterior of a fast food restaurant - Fast Food Near Me - Elgin, Texas

As a native Texan, whataburger was my go to. Until about 9 years ago... I have tried in here and there since then and never went back within the same year or two. Tonight it was the only thing open on my way home and I decided to stop in. Staff was very kind and polite, and the food is the best I've had from what's burger in the past 9 years! This is the best location I have tried since then and I'm actually happy with my food. My honey barbecue chicken strip sandwich didn't taste like old fryer oil or poisoned with salt. Everything was exactly as I had in high school and blew my expectations out of the water. Seriously I am so glad to live in Elgin and know that in a pinch this whataburger won't ruin my day/night. read more

Whataburger, Elgin TX. Don't Bad, took out a long hair from the bite of my Cheese Burger that I had bitten into, how nasty, I threw up.... I called Whataburger and told them they should be wearing hair nets, manager told me that they would after this incident!!!! Don't even des a STAR!!! read more

Why even have curbside? I ordered 20 minutes in advance and then sit there another ten minutes watching everyone in the drive through be served first. Meanwhile the employees can smoke outside but can't manage to bring the food. This and many other reasons make it the worst Whataburger ever. read more

Place an order online. Figure it's a busy night so I'll show up 5 minutes after it should be done. Pull up to drive through, we have your order. 20 minutes later still waiting in the drive through. I've seen rock formations form faster than this place try to push out a burger. read more

Best food around! You can't go wrong with Whataburger so go grab a bite. Their hamburgers are great and so is everything else.

Went to order breakfast in the second line. Was told it was closed and sorry for any inconvenience, but the line wasn't blocked off AT ALL. Then I couldn't leave, because they had both pickup lines blocked through. So not only did j not get to order, but I had to sit in the drive thru line trapped for ever. I wouldn't normally post but this is my 3rd terrible interaction at this whataburger. Skip it. read more

Service was nice. The person who took my order was really sweet. Unfortunately it took 20 minutes for my one entree and sides to come out and somehow everything was cold. The store smelled a little weird as well, but it looked very clean and everything was well stocked at the counter. I was offered condiments when my order came out. read more

better off getting something at QT. This Jalapeño burger the #4 ! when they asked me if i wanted everything on it i said yes not knowing they where going to put a hair in it. read more

Whataburger stowed my money they are thieves from online ordering ! NEVER ORDER ONLINE !!! So this is not for the Whataburger in store. This is for the online service I ordered . The meal that was 17.73 . The Whataburger in Elgin was taking too long even though I ordered it online I had to be at work so I told him I'd come back and get my money I was told I could not get my money in store that I had to get my money from the online service since I ordered online . This order was done on 9/20/2024. Called many many of times for the help service till this day December 6th 2024 I still have not received my money was told many times it was going to be escalated that way it would be done faster . I still have not received anything . So i called back again today was told it was going to be escalated once again. Today is 10/6/2024 today I spoke with the supervisor for online orders ,hopefully I will get my money but I'm not going to hold my breath. I will keep putting this message out there till I receive my money back . I JUST HAVE TO TELL WHATABURGER ON LINE SERVICE TO FIND A BETTER WAY TO service people with help getting their money returned. I was also told that they had no time limit on when I will receive my money So Whataburger If I give you money and something happens and I want my money back that y'all can take as long as yall want to ? read more

Whataburger - This is my receipt. My proof and never received my money ! Be better online Whataburger. I will never order online again! - Fast Food Near Me - Elgin, Texas

Went in to get some lunch, I waited a long time, everyone who came after me got their food, I questioned the lady at the counter and her response was " she shrugged her shoulders and said it is not my problem". I know it is hard getting good help these days but an attitude like hers could hurt your business. read more

Perfect order placed online just took a little longer than stated in app. Brought out drink first in case I was thirsty. Two different crew persons working as a team excellent work. read more

The service at this restaurant is not very good, it can be rated 3 out of 10. They take a long time and the people who work there are very bitter. read more

When ordering a whatameal i got home and no fries. Not the first time i was missing an item. I dont expect perfection but this location has a training issue, as incomplete orders seem more like the norm than an exception. Please fix this! Not asking disrespectfully . I should have looked, but before an order is handed to a customer, they should look to see if it is there. It was not very busy so no excuses. read more

I wish I could give zero stars . You can order a simple order and wait forever to get your order !! It's a bunch of kids playing and gossiping behind the counter !! Super unprofessional.. read more

They always forget at least one part of your order. Drive thru can be empty and you still get the "Give me a moment". I would rather have a car wash over this place. read more

Took forever for just 2 plain hamburgers. We saw the workers outside right in front of us talking, and when they saw us they left and laughed. After that we spent maybe 5 more minutes before getting our food. They said they had a "long" line but there was no one there. Horrible service read more

Terrible evening staff, lack of management, and no sense of urgency. Glad to have another burger place in Elgin, but this place went downhill quickly after GO Arrived at 750pm for a mobile order pick up. Sat and watched 4 groups (and 2 employees) get their food first, but ordered after I arrived. Finally got up and asked what the deal was, and the order was brought out with no thank you and no apology. I'm pretty sure it was just sitting on the heat lamp and none of the staff back there cared to check. They were two busy messing around and not paying attention to the lobby. Not the experience I want after coming home from a 12 hour workday. I'll just stop at Manor next time on the way to town and ensure others do the same. Time to swap out the Whataburger with another chain. read more

Super slow service! You will be waiting 20-25 minutes during non-peak times in the drive through. Been multiples times and they are consistently slow. read more

Amazing customer service.... The attended was awesome she took care of our customized needs..... highly recommend this place.

Service at night is very poor. The crew is involved in a lot of horse play. They touch their hair and noses, I did not see any of them wash or sanitize. The customers are the last thing on their minds. My food was cold and when I told them about it, the response was yes it has been sitting for a while. They never offered to remake my food. I would not recommend eating here at night. I have been here 2 times and both visits were unpleasant. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This place sucks. Picked up my order and when I was almost home I realized they did not give me any fries. I went back to get the fries. When I got home the burgers were cold and to top it all off they had onion which on the online order I asked for that to be removed. Definitely do not recommend! read more

Everything was perfect and the cashier was very good with people .She recommended the breakfast bowl and it was really good .

Terrible place. Wait time is forever. They can't get the order right. There's no organization to this place at all. Don't recommend anyone going here. read more
