We had arrived on a Saturday morning and walked in. We waited 5 minutes and no one was around. Completely empty. There were 10 sandwiches already made and sitting in the warmer. ( so much for fresh). New chicken sandwich looked good but tasted like day old store bought fried chicken and cost the same as an 8 piece from any local grocery store. We stopped in at the drive thru tonight and while ordering we were asking politely for Pepsi when asked "what to drink" with the meal we ordered. The drive thru attendant was very mouthy and disrespectful about the fact that they serve coke product and not Pepsi. I absolutely love Whoppers. A simple and straight forward burger that you can really lower the fat grams by taking away the cheese and mayo. I'm not saying they're "best," just that they are my personal favorite because of size, consistency, ability to really lower that fat, and are usually executed reasonably well from store to store. I did not get a simple Whopper this time. This time it was my wife and and I and we did a Big King and a Big Fish. Both were terrible. The biggest issue: cold as ice. I mean lower than room temperature kind of cold. I've never been a big fan of other stuff at BK...maybe the original chicken sandwich... some times, that thing just scratches an itch, but by and large BK for me is a one trick pony. But man, I do love that pony. So, super disappointing to have an atypical menu choice for me to be so punitive. We didn't even finish them, as we both became concerned for food safety issues with mayo that should have least gotten heated to some degree, then allowed to cool so dramatically. The cheese on the Big King was hardened into the bun... which was not exactly "soft," and the beef fat was turning back to white/opaque. This particular location has had more than it's fair share of quality struggles from day one. It's really... REALLY sad that it is the only BK nearby as I have finally had it, and I'm just not going back. Ever. I'll hit BK a gain to be sure, like I said, I love me a decent Whopper, but I've wasted my last dollar at this particular store. read more

Stopped after a hike with some middle school kids to feed them supper. Have previously had good experiences here, both with our children when younger, and other middle school kids on a return trip. But not this time. We tried to be organized and when we questioned the lady in charge (kindly: we simply thought some things had been missed) we were made to feel stupid, especially that we didn't understand their shorthand as to which sandwich was which! Then, in frustration she turns away from the counter, sends an underling to take her place muttering something to the effect that "This is ridiculous, YOU cover the counter!" I wonder how the situation might have escalated if we had been rude or confrontational rather than calm and simply asking for help and clarification? I know this is Burger King, but the experience was simply sad and negative because of this individual and her unkind attitude. This is unacceptable in any area of the service industry: minus four stars. (Unfortunate, as this location used to be a happy wayside.) By the way: the 'double stacker' ($3.69) is just as pussy a sandwich as the 'double cheeseburger' ($1.69)... Sadly, the extra $2 is not worth it: minus one star. On the plus side: the kids did enjoy their food and had a good time. They were even treated kindly by our rude host upon return visits for additional food: I will award one star back for that. Additionally, the younger employee sent to the counter after the negative encounter with the supervisor was very kind, professional, and even apologized for the quality of the sandwich when I sincerely asked if the mediocre 'double stacker' in my hand was really the sandwich I had ordered: two stars back for that- (thanks, young high school student!) read more

Food wise, it's Burger King, like any other. You either like it or you don't. I felt compelled to point out, however, that the staff at this location is not very considerate, and I would go so far as to say downright rude. The actual service is OK, but the employees spent a lot of time gossiping loudly enough for the entire dining room to hear, and on one occasion an employee and manager had a dispute about hours right there in front of everyone, which made me feel pretty awkward. But the worst part was that when I went and got a seat, I noticed two employees leaning in close to each other and muttering while STARING at me. I made eye contact with them, so they knew I was aware that they were staring, but they didn't stop. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable. It's not often I leave a restaurant feeling outright terrible. Skip this place. There are plenty of fast-food places that have polite and courteous employees. This is not one of them. read more

Stopped at this BK location for the first time and I was impressed by how friendly the girl who took my order in the drive thru! Unfortunately these days it seems like most fast food places I've went to the person who greets you at the drive thru window (or even when you go inside) seem like they're annoyed that you're bothering them, but not here! She was very pleasant when taking my order and when I pulled up to the window. She even thanked me! I know that seems like not much, but so many places don't "thank" the customer anymore. The general manager very rude... She basically told off my wife for asking "hello" on the intercom and the manager told her not to raise her voice and practically threw the change at my wife. She asked for a receipt to she can write a compliant to corporate. The manager just slams the drive through window on her and walks off without her receipt. read more

Noticed that this BK hasn't been reviewed in almost a year, so it is maybe time. When we walked up, the manager had to make the employee get down off the counter to wait on us. The BK nuggets were dry enough to obviously have been sitting for awhile. My wife was sick the whole next day from her chicken sandwich. We will not be back. There are better choices for fast food just as close to us. read more
