My boyfriend ordered the bacon burger with cheese (.$40 extra), while I ordered the bulgolgi burger. They have a vegetable bar with fresh vegetables including lettuce, jalapeños, tomatos, & more! I went with a friend and got the bulgoki burger. The meat was very tender and the veggies were fresh and the lettuce crispy. The bun was soft, fresh, and I'm guessing homemade. Great burger joint. Fat juicy high quality patties made from fresh beef from a local butcher, served on a house baked sponge bread bun that has been nicely toasted. The condiment bar has fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions plus pickles and pickled jalapeños. The burgers are the real draw here but the bulgogi burger is also excellent with a not-too-sweet marinade and tender bites of beef. I never thought to eat bulgogi on a bun with burger fixins but it's pretty good that way. The fries are fresh and well seasoned. I didn't care for the batter on the onion rings, although they were well made. Good ice tea, nice staff. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in Bryan. read more

Simple but Amazing burger! I got the bul-go-gi, Korean style sweet and mildly spicy barbecued beef, in soft bun made in-store, mouthwateringly awesome. You get all the charred bits which gives it so much more flavor. They have all the fresh cut veggies you may want add, I personally always go for the jalapeños. They also have some great fries, right out of the fryer. Will go again to try the other meats there! Looks pretty torn down from the outside, but neat and simple on the inside. We ordered in the drive thru and they had our food ready within 5minutes, it was very quick service! We both ordered the #1 with cheese and the burgers were delicious! Fries were seasoned and were good as well. We have been avoiding eating out due to coronavirus concerns, and my husband stated that they wiped down the receipt booklet before handing it to him, which we really appreciated. Burger house is pretty damn good. They season the burgers with more than salt. All the fixings are out on a salad bar. So, if you want more than one tomato slice on your burger, it is available. They sell a bulgogi (Korean BBQ) burger that is we delicious. The prices are reasonable. I think they make the buns there in the restaurant. read more

Here's another example of not being fooled by appearances. The outside looks kind of old and forgotten, but it's a great little burger joint. It's clean and the workers are super nice and thankful. I ordered the bul-gogi burger with fries and a drink. They have a condiment bar so you can assemble your own burger with whatever toppings you want. I didn't add cheese to my burger and honestly it didn't need it. The meat is chopped in a korean bbq sauce. It wasn't too overwhelming or anything. Just the right amount of flavor. Their fries were seasoned well and had a nice crisp on the outside. They don't give you a large amount of fries but if they would've given me more I wouldn't have been able to finish it all anyways, so no complains from me. read more

My biggest mistake was probably getting this though when I was craving an actual normal burger bc the bulgogi burger is more reminiscent of a banh mi turned Korean turned burger. Burger House has been detrimental to our "eat less meat" diet, because every week, I whine, "Can we get Burger House?" If you've been to Austin's Burger Tex, this place is pretty comparable to it (they are both owned by Koreans). In fact, we mistakenly refer to "Burger House" as "Burger Tex," but we get each other's point. The burgers are seasoned just right, and the buns are to die for. They're not the crappy sesame seed buns you buy at HEB but a little buttery and has just the right amount of chewy texture to it. I like their bulgogi burger because I'm Korean, and this meat dish is like our ham sandwich, but I still like the regular patty burger better. And yes, they only give you a handful of fries, but should one be eating more than a standard "small" size of fries anyway?? I like that you can top your own burgers, because I like to eat only mayo and onions on mine, and I like plenty of both so that they are oozing out the sides. These are the best burgers in town. The normal burgers are very good, but the real reason to go is the Bulgogi burger. I've taken tons of friends there to try it, all of them were skeptics at first, and now every single one is a convert. The fries are amazing, thick cut, crispy, and seasoned rather than just salted. Most of the fixings are laid out for you to assemble yourself, and having gone there probably 50 times, I've never seen anything less than fresh. I'm not aware of any restaurants in town that have coke dispensers with natural sugar soft-drinks, so maybe Greg should stop getting his panties in a wad. They do have tea (that tastes fine) and real sugar packets, so if you don't do HFCS you'll still be okay. Only down-side is price. If you get add-ons like bacon and mushrooms it gets really expensive in a hurry, but it's still well worth it. read more

Burger House rules, not because they actually have a veggie burger, but because they have an awesome veggie burger. It's got nice crispy edges and no gummy soy flavor or texture in any bite. Their buns are totally super ridiculously awesome. They're crisp on the bottom, light and fluffy inside, perfect outerwear for any patty, meat, or not meat. The burgers come naked and you dress them as you see fit with typical toppings. They have thick cut fries, which are always better, and the ketchup and mayo come out of those squirty bottles where you push down on the button on the top. ILOVESQUIRTYBOTTLES. Service rules, and it's always the same guy at the counter, and he greets you upon entering, and hands you your card back with a flourish, and is always smiling. The only downside is that it's closed on Sunday. And that means you will be hungry for Burger House every Sunday LIKE CLOCKWORK. If you're a vegetarian, these veggie burgers are the best. If you're not the bulgogi is excellent. They also has great onion rings. And the server-man is a super awesome Korean that hands you your food in a fairly dramatic Korean fashion. And they share with a great old burger place in the DFW area. This is my choice location for a burger other than Chef Tai. I have not tried Stover Bros, but it's definitely better than Koppe in my opinion. read more

Love Burger House! The bulgogi burger is amazing. My husband took me here a few years ago and its our go to place for an amazing burger. The owner is always there and extremely kind. You make/dress your own burger. The veggies consist of lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, jalapeño and they have Mayo,mustard and ketchup. You get free refills. They have lemons for the tea. It is a small place but cozy. They usually have the TV on a sports channel. My kids like the kids menu. (They serve chicken nuggets and burgers) Awesome place!! read more

I've been waiting FOREVER to try Burger House. Like Greg D. put it, this is really a local gem! First things first. Get the bulgogi burger. They also sell "regular" hamburgers, along with veggie burgers, fries, etc. but I would skip right to their specialty! I've only had bulgogi burgers at one other place - Burger Tex in Austin - and I think they're comparable. The burger here is much stockier, with larger chunks of meat than the one at Burger Tex. The self-serve veggies area was unassuming but filled with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and more! The guy at the front is very nice, too. The only let-downs were the price (too little meat for such a high price!) and the soggy fries. read more

An interesting and unassuming little restaurant. The burger is pretty good with a nice little toppings bar. The cook obviously took her time making the bacon from scratch and toasting the bun in butter. I wasn't as big of a fan of the bulgogi burger. It was good but it's a korean (I think?) style burger, not your everyday American burger, which I love. Also the onion rings are obviously homemade and delicious. Excellent little place. Unpretentious and comfortable. I got the bulgoki burger and the word that comes to mind when I think of it (sorry for you people who hate words like this) is succulent. It was well marinated and highly flavorful. The toppings were fresh, even though I came at 4 p.m., which is between standard meal times. The owner was courteous and polite, and even gave me a bow.
