My new go-to burger place! Pretty fast service for a custom burger. Their onion rings were top-notch. Beverage options as well little bit of a sports bar vibe, but not as busy or loud as most of the places in town... more laid-back vibe. Will be back again. read more

Food was pretty decent, but there's like little to no air conditioning in the restaurant so it's hot asf. Also they nitpick on extra charges like (making regular onions grilled, or extra for different cheeses, etc). Waiter was nice though ! read more

Really good food, simple enough menu. I ordered the Jalapeno burger with onion rings. The burgers come with plenty of yummy toppings and you can change up your dressings. Their onion rings are superb -- they've got that bulkiness you look for and were very fresh when they came out. There's an up cost to change certain things but nothing crazy. The best day to come for a burger is probably Tuesday's because they have a couple bucks off then. Other than that they've got some drink specials but we don't drink. We brought our kids and they both got the flatbread pizza which is a great option for kids, but they couldn't eat it all. They also have a kids menu and said they'll try that next time. All in all, great little place with a good atmosphere. It's a bit small and I'd imagine it gets super busy on game nights and when kids are in full swing for the semester. But this is the summer time. The waitress was ok... we told her it's our first time here and she offered zero feedback. I was a little surprised but she was attentive enough keeping up with our refills that I kinda got over it. They also have some lunch specials I'll consider coming back for. read more

Stopped in after our son's graduation from Texas A&M because we were trying to get away from the crowds and traffic. It's a quiet out-of-the-way place. Plenty of parking. Clean. There were 6 of us in our party when we stopped in to try Chubby's Public House for a late lunch / early dinner on a visit to see our sons at TAMU. One of our party is celiac and thoroughly enjoyed her food. Michelle, one of the owners, was absolutely wonderful keeping us refilled and providing great input to us, as none of us had been there before. I will say...we will be back! The food was amazing, full of flavors and cooked just right. The stuffed tots I had I let the family try, then ordered a large order to share. Service was good, but we were the only ones in there. The food was just frozen food that was taken out of freezer and thrown in the fryers. Chili and nacho cheese tasted like something you get from a ballpark and out of a can. read more

The food and Kayleigh (our usual server) is VERY GOOD. Since finding this place, I've introduced friends to it as well. They've returned with THEIR families/friends and also tell me how pleased everyone has been. Although I haven't tried their bar service, they have a good selection of beers, spirits, and cocktails. Disgusting. 0/10 I cant describe the flavor because there was nothing you could describe about it. As a celiac, just go get a lettuce wrap at Freddys/In-n-Out and save yourself some time. How could you possibly make everything taste the exact same? Matter it a patty melt, a burger, or a pesto sandwich? The ketchup tasted as dirty as the water tasted as well, the burger patty smelled like how the water tasted. The sweet tea isn't real sweet tea, pretty sure it's just Arizona. We're literally in Texas and you can't brew your own tea? At least grab a jug from a fried chicken place. 2 sandwiches, 1 burger, a hotdog, and jalapeño poppers. More than $70. For absolutely nothing. Anywhere else is better than here, everything tastes as flavorless as possible. Service does not matter in this situation. And the ambiance inside should tell you enough that you really shouldn't eat here. read more

I expressed our daughter had an egg allergy while speaking about the breads they use. Then ordered her a hot dog (bc no egg in bun). I asked for the hotdog to be dry no condiments. It came with mayo on it. I asked for a dry one-- the manager or owner came out from the kitchen with a dry bun and put it on her plate. I said she can't eat that bc of the mayo she is allergic to. She then scolded me that I didn't order correctly (even tho I did). She wasn't sorry. She was rude. The other food we got was not good. Unfriendly. Unsatisfied. Over priced. Won't be back. read more

Finally got a chance to try this place. We went for lunch on a Tuesday. Place was packed when we first got there (12:15) but slowly declined as the hour went by. Service was fantastic. Our food, bacon cheeseburger and French dip sandwich, were delicious. The atmosphere was what I'd expect for this type of restaurant. Will be back. read more

Came in with a friend a week ago to try the place out. Didn't realize the egg on my burger would be over easy, so I asked if I could have it made over. I was super polite about it. However, the waitress took my platter to the back to communicate the issue to the cooks so they could redo the burger, but told me I could just have my fries back. My only issue was the fact that they took my platter to the back and then brought it back. That is not sanitary at all. read more

I have to agree with Jim, place is hot. Air was blowing but not cold or even cool air. Need to get that fixed!! Service was good. Burgers were ok. Asked the server if it's always this hot and she blamed it on the 100 temp outside. Might but that if every other place in town was that hot but it's not.
