We requested a high chair for my toddler and they had one available. I ordered a chicken pesto panini and my husband ordered the Sucuk kavurma burger meal with Turkish sausage, fries and a soda. The prices were reasonable for the quantity of food. The food was good but the panini was a bit salty for me. The fries were good. They had a good selection of dishes. This unassuming Turkish spot in the heart of Sheepshead Bay is dishing out some of the best food Ive had in a minute. On a long drive from the airport home, I decided to pop in and check out this beloved local Turkish spot known for dishing out, elaborate and amazing pide. I wasn't sure what to order so the cashier was friendly enough to recommend a few things, I went with the meat lovers. As I waited for my delightful oblong pizza to be baked, I was treated with the utmost Turkish hospitality and offered a cup of tea. I also picked up the baklava here, because it looked very promising. Honestly, the pide did not disappoint, it was chock full of vegetables and meat, and the cheese ratio was just absolutely perfect. Despite being such a huge baked item, it wasn't too heavy or doughy, which I appreciated and surprisingly because I was hungry I was able to demolish the whole thing in one sitting without feeling sick to my stomach. The baklava was also very good, heavy on the pistachio, which is just how I like it. Tea was served piping hot, and I enjoyed sipping on it as I veered out the window on a beautiful spring day. This is my third time here I can tell you without a doubt the food, ambiance and customer service all are top notch. Made reservation of 7:45 but got there by 7:30 and since it was not crowded we took a nice 4 person table. We ordered the pineapple and strawberry smoothie, spicy chicken pesto toast, spicy chicken bbq pizza, large fries on the side, ginger ale, small cappuccino, small Turkish tea and kunefe. The Turkish tea was on the house, we also ordered spicy chicken panini to go but were instead given bbq chicken pizza which was a honest mistake by the server and I let him know about that which they apologized for but I will give them five stars for excellence in all other things. Honestly the paninis are fantastic. Soft, flavorful, and warm paninis are made fresh and served in a pizza box. They are massive and can feed 2 people! Their special panini with beef and lamb is delicious with all the veggies also included. They give a hot nice sauce that is not too hot along with ranch on the side. Pide is my favorite dish at Turkish restaurants, unfortunately, not every restaurant makes it. My favorite one is at Taci's Beyti, they are truly the golden standard, but Burchak Pide comes second close. The crust was amazing, the meat portion was generous, the only thing that I would want to improve on, it could use a bit extra cheese. Otherwise, it was very tasty, and I am glad this place is right next to my sister in law's place because I often end up working out of her apartment to attend to various appointments in Brooklyn. They have a great variety of vegetarian options as well. The place is clean and the workers are friendly. read more

My friend's reaction when he bit into his spicy chicken pizza ( Not spicy at all ) told me I was in for a good meal. We were left on the same page when I then bit into my veggie pizza with added on beef pepperoni ! The Turkish pizza is shaped differently than traditional Italian shops and has a thicker consistency . My Pizza was 4/5 in overall goodness which is solid , but my friend's spicy chicken was definitely better . The spicy chicken had greater flavor and depth and I think it had some drizzling of hot honey if I remember correctly . The size of the pizza is just enough and comparable to one of those small pizzas from those large franchises. On a side note , I'd like to say that the lady at the front was exceptionally nice and inviting and patient with us as we ordered . Super comfy experience at the sweetest new café in town!! My boyfriend and I saw that they opened up 10 days ago, and finally got a chance to dine in. We didn't know what to expect with a brand new spot, but we were determined to taste enough to reeeallly know ;) And they're awesome! You have to get the freshly brewed turkish tea. We ordered the Beef Soundjouk Cheese Pide(Karisik) and it was soooo delish with kashkaval cheese and cripy bottom. I had to try the Lahmacun, as The NY Times raved about this dish. It's perfectly seasoned minced meat and vegetables with tomato, herbs on top of a perfectly crispy and thin Turkish type bread. My description probably isn't doing this dish the justice it deserves, but trust me, it's amazing and addictive. We also ordered the chicken pesto and bbq chicken wraps which we enjoyed very much as well! You can literally taste the freshness of every ingredient and love in each bite. Delivery was flawless with all items packaged carefully and everything arrived nice and hot. The food, but especially the service, was so good. I had the traditional pide, and it was cooked perfectly. Crunchy on the sides, but not overcooked or burnt, and the filling was flavorful. They brought everything to my table and set me up with a place setting like I was having a meal at someone's house. The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful.
