    Beef pie

The beef pie was amazing. I also got some sort of cone shaped pastry that tasted like a Napoleon. Really divine. Prices are very reasonable. I'd definitely go again!

Genatsvale is top notch Georgian spot--rich, comforting flavors, authentic dishes. The khachapuri is absolute must try. Looking forward to the new location opening on Kings Highway! ‍

    Shaurma is sooooooooooo goooooood

Hidden Gem Alert!!!!! This is as authentic as it gets. The Georgian food is incredible in every way. I had the cheese bread and the shawarma pork and chicken. It's life changing. It's not just a hole in the wall, it's the passage way to another world. Order it all, you won't be disappointed.

    The shaurma is huge!

I don't know why I didn't come here sooner; I live one block over and walk pass their sign everyday. Ordered the mix shaurma (chicken & pork), non spicy. The wrap itself is thin, but it's at least 12x16 before they roll it up and put in on the press so it's nice & crispy and you're not getting so much bread in every bite. It's huge! If I was starving I could probably finish it on my own, but I'd be so stuffed afterwards, otherwise it should satisfy two people. It comes with a can of Coke, a really good value. I'll definitely be back to try the khachapuri & desserts.

Disappointed with the extremely spicy shaurma; they added a lot of spicy peppers in it, I hadn't asked for

Generous portions on their trademark shawarma and you get a free can of coke with it. The shawarma itself tastes amazing.

Opened in May 2010 by siblings Peter "Petey" Freeman and Gia Giasullo (with the renovation famously featured on the reality show Construction Intervention), the shop revived the former Longo's Pharmacy space, preserving its original wooden medicine drawers, pressed-tin ceilings, and penny-tile floors. Using their exact menu preparations, all sundaes and milkshakes are proudly scooped using locally sourced ice cream from Adirondack Creamery: Egg Cream: A traditional, vintage New York soda fountain beverage made without eggs or cream--consisting of ice-cold Fox's U-Bet chocolate syrup (or vanilla), whole milk, and seltzer, whipped up froth-topped at the counter. Sundaes: Multi-scoop signature builds built on rich Adirondack Creamery ice cream, including popular favorites like the Mr. Potato Head (vanilla ice cream, peanut butter, warm caramel, and salted potato chips) and Sundae School (classic hot fudge with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry). Milkshakes & Malts: Hand-scooped Adirondack Creamery ice cream blended thick with whole milk, available in traditional standard flavors or served as a malted shake. Warm Biscuits & Savory Options: Beyond ice cream, the counter serves baked goods like house-made warm biscuits with butter and jam, alongside light café items like grilled cheese. Service is friendly, nostalgic, and quick at the counter. It remains a standout destination for classic ice cream treats and historic Brooklyn soda fountain culture.

Seating space (not a lot of it, so I imagine it can get packed on busy times) and bathrooms on premises. Hot chocolate was delicious. We got the spiced dark chocolate and the spices were overwhelming. Get dark chocolate without spices. The extra dollar for marshmallow made the chocolate even sweeter, so it was overwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. But. The extra dollar for whipped cream would be nice because the their homemade whipped cream isn't sweet, so it will just thicken up the drink and give you that extra texture oooomph that you'll appreciate. Torino cafe is basically coffee added to any hot chocolate of your choice. That was tasty with dark chocolate. You definitely tasted the coffee and it was less thick than regular hot chocolate (which was on a thinner, sippier side). You can sample ice cream to make your selection. It's all very sweet, so if you're looking for a less sweet option go with Belgian dark chocolate flavor. For a $18 banana split you get three scoops of ice cream and a caramelized banana. Not a big portion for such hefty price. The tiny addition of toppings didn't make this banana split come together into a cohesive dish. Would get something else next time. Definitely not a good deal. Young lovely girls at the cashier were super friendly and accommodating. The not so young gentleman with a mustache who brought our order to the table was very dismissive and rude when we asked him to please bring us a correct order (he carried multiple orders and was harried to be done delivering them and barked something incoherent at us when we asked for help).

I was thinking to myself, could it be like Kulfi? Turns out yes! It's even better with the flavor assortment and consistency! They had fun combos like saffron pistacho, rose pistachio, mango and cream etc. we got the saffron pistacho and mango & cream split combo for $8.50 and hmmmm it was so good! Both flavors were distinct. I loved the mango one as it actually tasted like Indian mangoes and the pistacho one actually tasted like kulfi. The consistency is imo so much better than gelato. It's creamy and melts in your mouth. The ambiance is cosy, lots of people just hanging out like at a 3rd space. The attention to decor is really good, the walls and ceilings also have this classy look and feel. The service was great. They let me try 2 flavors, and my husband 1. You could also buy pints, if you'd like. Overall, 10/10 spot. Would 100% recommend!
