Delicious everything! Got a spread of everything and all that is pictured was about $80 which for the amount of food and quality is really good! That includes 1 tiger stripe cold brew and my friend loved it. Highly recommend.

Among 4 locations, this place has the best sando! Meat is fresh and tasty! Five spice chicken has the right amount of basil and veggie, very balanced! Cashier and waitresses were also helpful and kind. Keep asking me if I need any other support - as a solo eater, I might not finish up a whole sando and fries, they will provide takeout boxes and also watch my stuffs when I used the bathroom. Great experience! And I like this location the best! ( I will return to eat at their market st location and airport locations)

Stopped in for some quick dinner and ended up getting the lemongrass pork banh mi and crispy egg rolls. It wasn't busy and ordered at the counter. Food came out fairly quick. Inside had seating and some outside seating as well. The egg rolls were good. I liked the filling and how crisp and not greasy they were. The sandwich was a pretty good portion but pork wasn't too flavorful and felt slightly dry. We also tried the fried chicken sandwich and was good. It was lightly battered but not very crisp. The chicken was really juicy and liked the toppings. Flavor was pretty good too.

Still my go-to Banh Mi sandwich place in San Francisco. They go for about $13.75 each. Some might say they are the yuppie Banh Mi place but I like the place. Food and location is clean. I usually get the Lemongrass pro or 5 spice chicken, but when they occasionally bring back the catfish that is my favourite I never miss. Salt and pepper fries are a must. Jalapenos are REQUIRED. They also offer salads and bowls.

Not the best picture (because I was hungry lol) I got the classic combo and it was delicious! The staff was kind and fast. 10/10 coming back. (Originally got it because I was missing my Vietnam trip)

    Ordered Sweet Potato Fries

I came in after 230pm and was greeted and helped immediately. I ordered the chicken pho and sweet potatoes fries. The broth was delicious and flavorful. There were large pieces of chicken!!! The sweet potatoes fries were crispy and not dry! They offered a sauce to go with it. Ambiance is very clean and fun! If you are on Fillmore Street, come in and look at their menu!

The Tiger Stripe Cold Brew's sweet cream tastes like yummy vanilla ice cream, but beyond that the drink was just OK since the coffee flavor was mild. I'll try their food items next time.

    Classic Combo Banh Mi

Pros: chicken pho was actually decent portion was good. 3/5 Tiger cod brew: sweet but not overly 3/5 Cons: classic combo was not good at all. The pickled carrots and daikon mixture was too sour and overpowering. I think it had pate but barely, didn't taste any butter/mayo, flavors were so off and meat was dry. This is the first time I had to throw out a banh mi . 1/5 If you want good banh mi for half the price, come visit Duc Huong or Huong Lan in South Sacramento. Area is kind of sketch but just come during the day before nightfall and it's normally busy with crowds. Service was great but when the food you specialize in isn't good, it's not enough for me to come back. Not saying that to be mean. So disappointed.

I finally got around to trying this place today after walking by it so many times. I ordered the five spice chicken. It was so good. I feel like the chicken was flavored really well, and the bread was also really tasty. It wasn't too hard or too soft. I really enjoyed it and I would definitely come back here. I also heard the soup is really really good and the salad. So I would love to try those next time. I also think it's decently priced and not outrageous.

Review based on Postmates delivery order where I got the following: * Bun Noodle Bowl with rice noodle, shredded romaine lettuce, crispy pork egg roll, pickled carrots, daikon, cucumbers, jalapenos, bean sprouts, Vietnamese herbs, peanuts, crispy shallots, nuoc cham sauce (vegetarian available) and your choice of choice of grilled lemongrass pork, grilled 5 spice chicken, grilled organic tofu, or grilled steak (+$3). I got the grilled lemongrass pork with a fried egg for $17.50. I also got a fried egg so that was an additional $1.75. * not pictured was the (2) pieces of shrimp & pork summer rolls for $8.50 plus the salt & pepper fries for $5.50. * Taro coconut cream cloud for $5.75. I ordered this for delivery so curious as to taste how different it would have been after drinking it there.

Ribeye Steak dip - more like a sprout dip

Light on the meat. Bread was good but extremely light on the meat. More like a sprouts dip than a ribeye steak dip. Don't bother coming here if you're hungry.

I love this place! The inside and outside seating is very cosy and comfy. The food came out very fast and was delicious! Pay attention to allergens, if you can't have peanuts make sure you inform the staff as a lot of the menu items contain it. Will be back for sure!

In a controversial move we did not actually try any of the sandwiches but the rice bowl and the pho were both delicious. The chicken in the rice bowl was perfectly seasoned and cooked and all the ingredients balanced well together. I am not always big on Vietnamese cuisine I think because of the mint forward flavor profile but this was really delicate and flavorful. The Brussel sprouts were served with a tasty sauce and wings were crispy and fried fresh. The only underwhelming thing was the egg roll but I would totally come back for everything else again. The food came out pretty quick but we were there before the rush. Good for small groups, not a ton of room for larger groups though.

Overcooked and bit tough, and chewy would not get them again. Ask for extra napkins up front since you do end up eating with your hands most of it.

My boyfriend got the Charbroiled beef with garlic noodles and imperial rolls (#24) with an extra order of beef. Our meal was super filling and balanced! They don't skimp out on either the noodles or the protein (definitely could have done without the extra beef we ordered). The chicken was juicy but the skin stayed crispy. The charbroiled beef had the smallest hint of sweetness for me. The noodles had a nice chew to them, and were dry but in the best way possible. A lot of garlic noodles tend to be too oily and leave an unpleasant lingering mouthfeel, but that wasn't the case here. The noodles could have used more garlic for my preference, but I think it was well balanced with the flavorful protein and fish sauce. The imperial rolls were okay and a nice crunchy side. I wouldn't get them as a separate appetizer, but only $1 more to add to your dish is unbeatable. Overall a great experience and I'd definitely bring some friends here for a comforting meal.

This older man walks around very ambitious with his little credit card terminal ready to charge anyone who is anyone. He gives no receipt. He is the owner and the waiter. But he does not give any service and just expects tip. All he does is walk around and collect money & does the very minimum. I've given this place multiple chances over the years, but unfortunately each experience has been uncomfortable in one way or another. The first time was around 2022. My family and I arrived about 30 minutes before closing, and the owner told us he would still serve us. After seating us, though, he immediately pressured us to order quickly and told us we had to eat fast because they were closing. I was with my elderly relatives too so just turn us away? If that was the case, it would've been better to simply not seat us. Don't be greedy just bc you want a few bucks. Another time, my husband called to order Hanoi-style pho to go, and the owner responded with unnecessary attitude, saying that's the only kind they serve. LOL, ok. The interaction felt rude for no reason. Most recently, we came on Mother's Day. The dishwasher/staff member was also unfriendly. The bun cha was decent according to my mom, and my husband said the beef stew noodle dish was okay, but my pho lacked flavor entirely. I wasn't expecting it to compare to pho in Vietnam or even San Jose, but it tasted very bland so I didn't finish it. The service from the owner continues to be the biggest issue. When we paid, he stood over us while I counted cash, so I felt pressure to count fast and add tip quickly. He left then came back a few seconds later then quickly grabbed the money without even asking whether I needed change and disappeared faster than the wind. The whole interaction felt awkward and pushy. He has a very strange personality. He's honestly very sleazy and has bad energy After several experiences like this, we won't be returning.
