Selenna was our server and she was so attentive to our party of 6 as well as the other tables she was taking care of. The salmon on my strawberry feta salad was seasoned to perfection! My brownie sundae for dessert was made even better when my request to have chopped walnuts added, was honored. The overall ambiance was calm, but high spirited. There are large TVs with sports playing, indoor and a heated patio for seating. Did I mention that Selenna was great?? I highly recommend trying this place!

My husband had the Smoked Brisket French Dip - Smoked Brisket, Caramelized Onions, Provolone Cheese, Au Jus, French Hoagie with Beer Battered Fries. I had The Motherclucker - Springer Mountain Farms Southern Fried Chicken, Spiced Pickles, Hot Sauce, Duke's Mayo, Niedlov's Bun. Hunter recommended adding Pepper Jack cheese and Bacon, as well as the Brussels Sprouts with Maple & Bacon. Everything was wonderful. There were way too many Brussels sprouts. It also would have been nice if they were cut into smaller pieces. They had a special dessert of Blackberry Cobbler with Vanilla Ice Cream. This brought back childhood memories of my grandmother's cobblers. My husband had the Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream.

We tried a few beers from Five Wits and per her recommendation got the creamsicle shake as well. Solid beverage choices. The shake tasted part float part milkshake and it was absolutely delicious. Would order again. The food on the other hand was a bit eh. We ordered the Asian q burger and the mushroom melt burger and it took quite a while for them to come out and when they did they had unfortunately been left on the grill for way too long and were charred and crunchy. One set of our fries was cold and the bun to burger ratio was extremely off. Luckily, the staff agreed that our burgers were accidentally overcooked and they remade them no questions asked. The remade burgers were moist and better but still not fantastic. They were just burgers with minimal toppings on them. Not really seasoned and the flavor came from the toppings themselves. The buns were still too big for the burgers so there was a lot of extra bread and they have potential to be great but they were just average. Would have probably been a three star review but the staff and drink selection really earned the extra star. Would go back to drink and maybe snack but probably not order a burger.

We had a reservation that was taken promptly, our service was convenient but I wouldn't say pleasant. We ordered the veggie pizza (great flavor, slimy texture from too many mushrooms etc 4/5) the ceasar salad (started with some finesse 4/5) and the jerk cauliflower(5/5). The only item we were disappointed in was the wings (1/5). Now let me explain. Wooden city reads as a smart modern, quality of food type of location. The wings were great values finest: and thus were huuuuge and unappetizing. Yall pull up, just don't get the wings lol

The vibe is relaxed and social, great patio energy, easy place to hang out with friends, and it feels lively without being overwhelming. The food was solid. Tasty, well prepared, good portions, but nothing that blew me away or felt dramatically different from other brunch spots I've tried. That said, the pricing felt fair. I had the breakfast sandwich and my wife had the Mexican Omelette. The Bloody Mary was actually really good, balanced and flavorful. I was a little surprised they didn't have any stuffed olives (my go-to garnish), and the server wasn't familiar with them, which caught me off guard. Not a big deal, just unexpected. The only real hiccup was at the end. Our ticket got mixed up and I tried having the server correct it. He said he would at the computer, he took our cards and I get a receipt where my card was charged on another ticket. So I ended up paying for someone else's food. It wasn't intentional and these things happen, but it was a frustrating way to wrap up the meal. Overall, I'd come back. Good atmosphere, fair prices, solid food. It's not a "must plan your whole weekend around it" spot for me, but it's a dependable option if you're in the area.

This restaurant is located in the Chatanooga Choo Choo train station building. The entrance is in the front, altough you might be able to enter from inside the station. I have been in the area numerous times and this is the first time I had dinner in this area. This was a late dinner, so we focused on sharing a few plates over a full meal. I did not write down the type of oysters on the menu that day, but got one of each of the rotating oysters. The poke was the star. Very nicely prepared with a wide variety of vegetables to complement the fish and rice. The kale was my least favorite, but the way they prepared it added to the poke. After trying different things individually, we mixed it into the biggest mess. She had the elderflower sour, which was a nice blend of sweet and sour, with cucumbers to offset some of the sweet. I usually get a old fashioned, but decided to get the Road Less Traveled, which was similar to my norm, but with a blackberry twist. I would definitely visit again, given the chance. Solid restaurant.

I actually had my rehearsal dinner here, and the staff was absolutely amazing and so accommodating throughout the whole process. Food-wise, I love, love, love their Italian chopped salad. The dressing is so good and it's something I end up ordering every time. They also offer pizza by the slice, which I like because they always have specific slices available plus a rotating "home slice" each day, they're also pretty generous size wise. The slices are good, but ordering a full pizza is definitely better because it comes out fresh. Another thing I really like is the adult fried cheese appetizer, which is basically like a spicy pepperoni and cheese egg roll and it's really good. Parking is typical for downtown. There's street parking or a lot across the street. Most of it is paid parking except for nights and Sundays. Overall this is one of my go-to spots in Chattanooga and somewhere I always recommend when people ask where to eat downtown.
