My experience here was quite haphazard , I came in on 8/5/26 around 9:30 pm. I was served by young woman with a floral tattoo on her right arm and couldn't have been in more of a rush to clock out and leave. I asked for lentils as the base of my bowl and she took the spoon from the rice 1/3 pan and cross contaminated it with the lentils, the same lentils that were too old, bone dry, and basically inedible. At one point during the process another employee asked me if I was being taken care, I was too rushed to even really voice how disrespected I felt in the moment. I wouldn't have left this review if I could have even eaten my food, but as I previously mentioned the lentils were too old and hard for me to even chew. I've never had CAVA before until this place opened here, and I wish this was here earlier. Where has this been all my life? I always opt to make my own bowl. I switch between different proteins because there's so many different options. I've picked the Harissa Chicken, Grilled Chicken, and Falafel. I like doing the half and half and each of those proteins were delicious. They were juicy and not dry. The veggies tasted fresh, the sauces and proteins were flavorful and so tasty. Also I love how we can choose up to three different dips. I pretty much go for most of the toppings except avocado. And also the dressings!! I mix it up every time and the combinations have worked pretty well together, in harmony with everything in my bowl. It's hard to pick a favorite veggie for me because each one is so good, but I'll always get the pickled onions and fire roasted corn. For me, I have no complaints whatsoever. I always describe this place as a Chipotle but Mediterranean. I always get takeout so I can't comment on the ambiance inside. But ordering online is fairly simple and straight forward. This is one of my favorite places in the area to go and get food. Oh and also the juices are great too. I always get the Cucumber Mint Lime because it hits every single time, but I'd like to try their other juices too. I can't wait until the next time I come back here. Love you CAVA! read more

This was my first time visiting the brand-new CAVA here on Gunbarrel Rd, and my family and I decided to check it out for lunch. We were excited to try something fresh and healthy, and CAVA's Mediterranean flavors did not disappoint! I ordered the Harissa Avocado Bowl, and it was absolutely delicious. The vibrant mix of flavors and colors made the bowl feel like a full experience - spicy harissa honey chicken paired with the bold hot harissa vinaigrette gave it just the right amount of kick. The Crazy Feta and hummus added a creamy balance, while the avocado, fire-roasted corn, pickled onions, Persian cucumber, and feta brought freshness and texture. All of it came together beautifully over basmati rice and SuperGreens. Every bite felt fresh, flavorful, and filling. For my drink, I went with a large cup of fresh lemonade, which was the perfect refreshing balance to the spice in my bowl. The service was quick and friendly, with the staff taking the time to walk us through the menu since it was our first visit. The ambiance is modern, bright, and welcoming - perfect for a casual family lunch but also a great spot if you're on the go. Fun fact: CAVA actually started in 2006 in Washington, D.C., and has grown into a nationwide favorite for healthy Mediterranean cuisine. Food did not look fresh and we almost walked out, but we were super hungry so we decided to give it a try. Staff acted like they didn't know what they were making and definitely didn't want to be working. My son got the Harissa & avocado and there was zero avocado. way over priced for such poor quality. Yikes, I am shocked at the positive reviews. I paid almost $17 for a bowl of crappy iceberg lettuce with a few tablespoons of some toppings and smattering of steak bites. They shove a pita in your face while you're ordering and just threw some cucumbers and tomatoes on there. It wasn't very good and the presentation was horrible. The kids at the start and register were friendly but the people in the middle making the food left a lot to be desired. I'm sorry but I can't believe anyone likes this place. I don't see any chance that I will ever return willingly. read more

I can't comment on the service or restaurant itself because the food was brought into my work by a vendor, but OMG, the FOOD!! I had a steak bowl with the red pepper humus and harissa dressing. It was absolutely delicious!! There was a ton of steak in it, which was tender and juicy. There were many veggies including cucumbers, grape tomatoes, red cabbage, and some lettuce. Crumbled feta topped it off. I love Mediterranean food and this was a nice twist on a salad. We had leftovers so I ate another steak salad a couple of days later and it was still delicious. I'll definitely be back and check out the restaurant itself. I'd love to see what it's like inside and how their service is. read more

Went there on a Friday afternoon. Place not too busy. Service prompt and welcoming. Great options of wraps vs bowels. We tried the harissa avocado chicken bowl. Nice combination of flavors but meats warm not hot. Steak feta wrap was the star of the review especially if you love feta. The chicken and garlic again nice contrast of taste. The meats in the sandwiches warm not hot and at times lost with all the other components in the sandwich. Still overall nicer fresh presentation. Not greasy. I would like to try falafel or spicy lamb next time. Prices reasonable for prices. read more

We made our very first visit to Cava! We walked into a clean space and got acquainted with an attractive menu. There were a lot of appealing Mediterranean selections, but we finally settled on a couple of "Build Your Own" Bowls. Although it is BYO, the Cava team member that assisted us had strong preferences on how it should be layered. We should have passed on the attractive specialty beverages. One sip and we determined that each had an appealing name, but were really "watered down". We sat down and really enjoyed our bowls of veggies and falafel. There is a lot of potential at Cava.
