After grinding through a hard 3 hour workout, the only logical next step was to immediately cancel it out w a buffet!!! Buffet Star didn't exactly sound like a five-star life choice (and Yelp's 3 stars tried to hinder me from eating here), but plot twist..... it was way better than expected!!!!! The sushi made my husband and son happy little sea creatures, the Mongolian grill slapped, and the chicken wings were jumbo sized and fire!! But the real MVP? Chicken pot stickers!!!!! I've never seen chicken pot stickers at a buffet (bc they're 99% always pork pot stickers). Fried rice, noodles, seafood galore..... basically, carbs and ocean things everywhere!!! Food was fresh, they kept replenishing the food due to the amount of traffic flowing through. The place is laid out like they tried to seat half the city in one room (could easily seat about 250 people), but hey, at least the food makes up for the chaos!!!! Service was on point... plates vanished like magic, drinks stayed topped off, and there was plenty of parking. BTW, you pay first before getting seated (pretty bold move) Overall, dinner was a win tonight, would happily return to undo another workout when we're back in the area!!!

Love eating here. The food is always great. I go here only for the seafood and I am never disappointed. It is very crowded at times, but it's okay because I get my moneys worth.

Been here a few times. Good service. Can be a little noisy when packed and is expected. Got my Mongolian style meat and veggies. Just onion and mushroom on beef, chicken and shrimp. Beef was tough but sauce made flavorful and still enjoyable. Some lobster pieces were tough and dry the first try. Got seconds when they put out new a new batch. Better but too much sticky coating and can't taste full flavor of lobster. Rest of what I tried were ok. Best part for me was the fruits. I got rambutan, papaya. Raspberry and pineapple. Pineapple was not as sweet as I've expected but good enough as palette cleanser. Still worth coming back.

Haven't been here for years but we came back to check out the changes! The food is great but prices went up as usual! Service is good they keep pickup your dishes! No wait as it is Hugh inside.

The restaurant was packed mid day. We dined in for a late lunch around 2:30 on a Saturday. The buffet stayed stocked full of many dishes. As soon as one was empty it was promptly replaced. They had lots of crab legs, mussels, shrimp , and classics like pepperoni pizza and french fries for picky eaters. Plates are cleared fast from your table as you finish. Flavors are good.

Got takeout by the lb. yesterday & honestly it'd probably have been worth it to just dine in. The selection was vast including sushi, hot foods, fried appetizers & deserts along with seafood such as crab legs, fried crab, shrimp, mussel, etc. Definitely worth a try if you're nearby & hungry.

2nd time here. The food is good and have a wide variety of food including sushi/sashimi. The reason for coming here was for their crab legs. Weekend buffet is $26.99. As provided on one of the pictures, when we arrived. The crab legs were really thin, and somewhat dry. We came on the weekend, which was somewhat busy. To my surprise, even though it was busy, it wasn't really noisy like some other places. That was great. The problem was that the ladies who would pick the plates and provide refills, I needed to keep trying to get their attention. They would group up to chat among themselves. In addition, towards the end of our time there, there were older Asian women coming in with very elaborate dresses. At this time is when they started to provide the larger crab legs in the trays. The sushi was mostly replaced with fresh cuts. Grrr....

This is a very chill cheap buffet. Let talk seating was terrible gives vibes of a school cafeteria small areas very little moving room and super hot I had to grab my hand fan it was that hot. Now The food is room temperature if you're lucky enough to where they pull out the food fresh then it's warm and hot and taste good they have quite a variety the sushi. I wasn't brave enough to try all of it I stuck with California rolls. It wasn't cold, but it was cool And then they had a Mongolian barbecue grill that was probably the freshest because it's cooked right there in front of you. The desserts again very limited but that's usually what you get from a Chinese buffet all in all for $17.99 not bad but again.. give it a try and then you decide.

Came for crab legs and was not disappointed. They kept refilling the station when it ran low. It was a bit stuffy. Not sure if the ac was just off or wasn't working but be prepared to take your sweater off & tie your hair up.

We came here on a Tuesday about 2:30p My first time here , a friend treated me to lunch . She was looking forward to the crab legs , unfortunately it only served during dinner hours . It was so humid and stale inside , AC doesn't seem to be working . The table settings is setup more communal , so the ambiance of the dining area felt crowded to me . I browse through the food station , before deciding on what to grab. Noticed the cook to order noodle bar had quite a selection. Dessert section has self serve ice cream machine and cubby of disarray of pastries scattered about . I opted to try the tofu and black mushrooms fungus stir fry and string beans with garlic I think . Well the tofu stir fry had a sliver of plastic sting and my beans were too mushy to enjoy . The soups selections were delicious and the fish dish I liked Sadly the fruits selections were a miss for me , saw a fly relaxing on the pineapple slices, I Had to skip that . Overall I don't think I would come back, I didn't feel comfortable, the air in the restaurant was so humid we were sweating while eating . The counters needs some attention in cleaning .

For a Saturday at 4:30pm, we were seated and waited on immediately. The menu was expansive and I was surprised with the amount of vegetarian options for a Chinese restaurant. Our server was helpful in suggesting various fish options and knew their wait times. Some notable dishes were the sizzling beef with black pepper, beef scallion rolls, honey walnut chicken, mapo tofu, and fried chicken. The dishes that could be improved for flavor were the vegetarian steamed dumplings, steamed whole fish, and beef chow fun. We probably ordered around 8-10 plates (all dishes came with rice) and many arrived at the same time. The prices were very reasonable for the portions and it was just enough for everyone. Since we had a birthday celebrant, they were able to put our personal cake in the fridge. Our server provided a complimentary matcha cheesecake and candle towards the end of our meal. His robot server sidekick also sang happy birthday! I did feel like they were understaffed because the lobby hostess had to find the server for me several times when I asked for our cake and the check. Overall, it's a great place for large groups and celebrations.

When we arrived, the hostess attempted to seat us at a table that would not have comfortably accommodated our group. I politely asked if we could be seated at a nearby table that had more space. In response, she rolled her eyes and let out an audible sigh, which felt unprofessional and dismissive. When we were eventually seated at the requested table, she placed the menus down abruptly and did not hand one to me directly, instead leaving it at the end of the table. The interaction came across as unnecessarily rude and, frankly, not in line with the level of service I would expect from a hostess. That said, I want to note that the rest of our experience was positive. Our server was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our meal. The food itself was also very good (I would not recommend the orange chicken though) and something I would return for. I hope management takes the opportunity to address the front-of-house experience, as first impressions matter and can significantly impact a guest's overall perception. I've grown up in the area and have branched out to living all over california. However the sense of entitlement the locals here have is insane. China Town Fast Food has delivered good tasting AND affordable Chinese-American food for quite some time! The portions are the best bang for your buck in the Loma Linda area, and the staff is also very nice. There are language barriers to some extent and a plastic wall that could make it hard to hear for both the customer and the server, but pointing fingers at the food and putting extra emphasis on enunciating my words have always helped, and if they can't hear, both the customer and the server can go to the side to hear each other clearly. The place is also small and can easily get packed during the rush hour. There are usually only TWO people in the front and a cook in the back, so I believe it's very key to have patience for when you go out during these hours. In all forms of service whether it be food, retail, etc. please remember that they are still human and working at a pace that tries to accommodate for us. In hours closer to closing, it does slow down and it does get quieter, I believe those are the best times to go when it's not so busy. Food wise, I'd highly recommend getting their Orange Chicken and House Special Fried Chicken. The orange chicken has a nice bit of sweetness, tangyness, and crunch to each bite and the House Special is just that... it's SPECIAL! Freshly fried chicken, usually about a 10-15 minute wait. Paired with a side of a garlicky, green oniony, shoyu sauce helps create just the perfect bite when combined with some rice. Their teriyaki chicken is also very delicious with a beautiful char on the outside. It's not your typical, Seattle, Japanese-esque teriyaki chicken, but it will taste very good! I hope this review helps with all the negative feedback I'm seeing and introduces you all to a classic spot to check out. Enjoy the food and have a great day!

Pretty good Thai food for IE area. If you're from the area or familiar you should know there's…read morelimited tasty options worth trying. This place is worth trying. The cocktails were tasty and presentable. Food is a decent size and shareable. However, I must say they lack ingredients like for curry it was really watery and plain, it didn't have veggies like I would get from other restaurants, there were some chicken pieces and a few tiny bits of potato. The crab fried rice and beef pad see eww didn't have that much protein but it's alright since there's equal veggies mixed in. Chicken wings were good but I would pass on the egg rolls, it was gritty and dry in my opinion. Mango sticky rice is not bad, your typical dessert like other places. The wait for bigger parties can take some time on weekend or peak time since it's a small restaurant. There's a few bigger tables all the way in the back of the restaurant. 20% gratuity is required for parties of 5 or more.

We were excited to find a place in this area serving Korean-Chinese dishes like jjajjangmyeon,…read morejjamppong, tangsuyuk, and more. The ladies serving us were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself is small. It felt more like a full size family restaurant that was jammed into a small coffee shop type space but it was clean and comfortable. We went as a family and ordered the jjajjangmyeon, jjamppong, kkangppong fish, fried rice, braised eggplant, honey walnut shrimp, and steamed rice. The entrees were the standout. The fish, shrimp, eggplant, and rice dishes were all so delicious, and we will absolutely be back for those. The jjajjangmyeon and jjamppong were a bit underwhelming, so I probably would not order those again, but everything else was solid and very satisfying. Overall, a great find for this area.

Diane and I came here again for dinner, and began with Juicy Pork Dumplings that were indeed juicy,…read moreand Wor Wonton Soup that was packed with vegetables, some shrimp, and imitation crab that looked and tasted a bit fuzzy. The wontons in the tasty broth held very dense chicken that tasted like dough. For my entree I selected Tomato Beef that contained big and juicy fresh tomato wedges, while Diane ordered Honey Walnut Shrimp that initially came out without walnuts because of a miscommunication. Diane had asked for no vegetables in her Honey Walnut Shrimp, which was misinterpreted as including walnuts for elimination. They were added on request. Steamed White Rice rounded out our meal. Service was very good, including our waitress running to clean up a spill after I knocked over my filled water glass. We washed everything down with good Hot Jasmine Tea.
