I can't speak to the other reviews...kind of confused by it. Because my son and I went on a rainy day in Bloomington and not only was the food excellent, but the service was too! We were greeted and seated immediately by super friendly staff. We received our order quickly and everything was delicious! They were quick with drink refills...and the cocktails were perfect . The fully loaded nachos we ordered were a generous portion of nacho goodness. My son chose boneless wings in a fantastic curry sauce, instead of the regular buffalo....and I highly recommend them. On a Friday at 5:30 we had to wait almost 20 minutes to be seated. No one would come to the host stand.

Arrived and found a parking spot right out front, yay! Was seated after a few minutes. Server was prompt, attentive and friendly. Area we were seated in was clean. Ordered and got our food in a timely manner and was super hot. The cheese curds were freaking amazing, love them! My garlic parm traditional wings were SOOO GOOD!!! Lots of yummy sauce-was pleasantly surprised how good they tasted. They were a bit spicy, almost too much-almost :-) The bbq wings were good as well. I haven't been to Buffalo wild wings in three years today. Why you may ask because every time I eat in or takeout they mess up my order today. The same thing happened. They messed up my order really simple really sweet wings fries cheese curd. Nothing special I picked up my order. Got halfway home, looked at the bag and thought that looks a little small for what I ordered and guess what it was. It was missing the fries and the cheese curd I paid extra for I wouldn't eat at the Bloomington Buffalo wild wings. If they gave me a years free dinner I hope they go out of business. I'm not sure if I've reviewed Buffalo Wild Wings in Bloomington for a while, but guarantee if I had in the past it was a 1-2 star review. A recent visit (as the loss of a bet required it by my son) made me reevaluate and upgrade to three stars. Still only OK, but certainly better than in the past. Historically, I have had a love-hate relationship with BW3 (it'll always be BW3 to me) - love wings. Love their wings. Hated their service, attitude, and prices. The service was 10x better, the restaurant cleaner, and that's what earned the third star. Honestly, I'm a bit peeved that the buffalo chips are no more, but I can survive on tots or fries. The wings are, as always, great. That's what I always order, so I can't comment on the variety of sandwiches, salads, etc. and frankly I'll likely never know what they're like. I order the same thing, every time, every location. The Bloomington store is huge, has great TV's and now that the service - at least on my last visit - was up to speed and I didn't spend two hours waiting for food from a surly server, I'll put this BW3 back in my rotation. I still think they're overpriced, but I'm a glutton to overpay for good wings, and I'm paying for both the wings and the atmosphere, so as long as it continues to be good service and wings, it's a winner for me! read more

This place is horrible. Me and a friend went there to watch a football game and there was probably only 15 people in the place (that should tell you how far they have fallen over the years... this place used to be packed). Even with that small of a crowd it took our server 15 minutes to show up and then 10 minutes to bring us 2 beers. After our beers we decided to order food. We know better than to order their wings as all their wings at this place are over-cooked and smaller than the size of your thumb. So we order burgers and fries. I get a Bacon Cheeseburger that comes with no bacon. The waitress takes it and brings it back out and I look at it again, and now it has bacon bits on it. She explains that's all they have and that they're out of bacon. I tell her this is not what I ordered and to just take it off my bill. Five minutes later the manager walks out with 3 strips of bacon on a paper towel with no apology and no explanation why they would try to fool me with bacon bits. Even after this debacle we're hoping to get a seat at the bar to watch the game closer up. There are seats open but the bartender hasn't picked up any of the glasses or food baskets for over an hour. She just keeps walking by them, then texting on her phone and in the corner of the bar talking with her friends. Finally after an hour (I'm not kidding) she starts cleaning the bar and we sit down. She immediately tells us that they're closing in 30 minutes. So we ask if we could finish our beers and get one more, and she says "only if you want me to be pissed". At this point we've had enough of this place and the stupidity from the useless manager all the way down to ignorant staff. If I ever go back to this dump again, it will be only to dine and dash as they have the dumbest manager, servers, and bartenders in Bloomington. They should have a sign that says "Do Not Tip Your Servers and Bartenders" because none of them deserve it. read more

Use to love this place, but to say it has gone downhill is putting it mildly. They have wine listed on their menu, but most of the time, they don't have it in stock. They definitely need more staff and better management. Took forever to get drinks and food. The poor waitress was the only one for the whole bar area (more than 50 people) she was trying but we were there 2 and 1/2 hours with over half of that time waiting for service. Came in for dinner around 5:30 with my husband and two kids. We knew it was busy, but we were seated right away with no warning of how long it would take to get our food. We waited over an hour at the table and finally the waitress came to tell us we were the next ticket up. We walked in the door with our coffees in hand with full intention to finish them quickly and order iced tea, but the greeter who finally showed up after we stood there for over 5 minutes (and it wasn't even busy)...quite brashly announced that outside drinks are not allowed and so we turned around and left. We came here the other night to watch a Big Ten basketball game. We had a fantastic server, who gets extra points for also happening to be from Chicago! We enjoyed a couple of Angry Orchard ciders and started with some cheese curds. We've had these in the past when we lived in Virginia and thought they were very good, but these weren't as tasty. The smaller pieces tasted better than the larger pieces, but all-in-all they were fine. I got a buffalo chicken salad and my wife got some boneless wings. I had asked for my salad without onions and unfortunately, the kitchen messed this up and even my chicken tasted like onion. My server got me a new salad fairly quickly and I was able to continue eating my meal at the same time as my wife. My wife said her wings were good. She got the small order and had it split between two of the milder, sweeter flavors. We enjoyed the atmosphere for watching a basketball game and we also enjoy playing trivia (though it was only on one TV that night), so we may find ourselves back again before March Madness. read more

Food is good but I'd like to call out the awful service of this location. They close at 12 supposedly but when me and my buddy walk in at 11:30 they denied us service. Tonight we tried to seat a 10+ so we arrived at 10:55 and they still denied us service. I AM LIVID! We just had takeout from this location and the wings were pretty good! We always get bone in, so the medium buffalo bone in wings were spot on and the mango habanero wings were great. We also had the french fries with the salt & vinegar seasoning that they'll put on if requested. For takeout, their fries held up great on the drive home! Everything tasted great! The only improvement for my husband would've been more sauce on the mango habanero wings. They were a bit dry so next time we would order extra sauce for those. Also, they are quite stingy when it comes to your ranch or blue cheese dressings. You only get one or two with each order of wings. When I went inside to pick up I had to ask for more and I still only got two more out of them lol! I don't know why they don't just let you buy more? But my experience a few a weeks ago was a result of poor management. We order online and had to wait 1 1/2 hrs for our food. Every time we ask for a manager we were told he was busy. I finally ask for my money back and he cane out. Didn't actually give us our money because he explained he was to busy but he would adjust it later. To say that to a customer is insane. On top of that I had to call corporate in order to get the return and it took about 2 weeks. I suggest turning off the online ordering if you can't handle it. Pretty typical BWW spot - and this one we've been to twice now. Since this BWW is in a college town it is generally busy with college students and/or their families when visiting. Nice crowd and good TV watching of all sports when we were there. Food was ok, as with most BWWs. Place could be a bit cleaner, but then that is typical of most BWWs also. Wait staff was also three stars - just enough. First time here one of us ordered mild sauce and got lip burning hot stuff. Second time they did it right.
