    Steak Fries and a Hand-Cut Sirloin with a dr.pepper

The Texas roadhouse in Bloomington has so much food to eat and it's all really good. I go here every year for my birthday and it's my favorite restaurant I'll ever go to.

    Steak and one shrimp lol

Texas Roadhouse is crazy popular, always has a line out the door so we felt pretty lucky to have very little wait. We ordered fried pickles and omg-LOVE! They are delish!! We also had another appetizer but now I can't remember what it was-the pickles were the star! I got the steak with Mac n cheese, came with a shrimp on top. Food came out fast, hot and was delicious. Steak was cooked to perfection!

This was an excellent Texas Roadhouse location. We were looking for a restaurant close to our hotel and this turned out to be a great choice. We were seated promptly and Tanner, our server, introduced himself and brought our hot rolls and butter. He was quick to serve our drinks and kept us supplied with refills throughout our meal. My favorite appetizer is the rattlesnake bites, and they were served piping hot, full of melted cheese. The house side salad was fresh and crisp. I ordered grilled salmon and it was perfectly cooked. My loaded baked potato was delicious. My coworker ordered steak and he was very happy with his meal as well. Great food, excellent service.

$60-70 Let me tell you what I experienced on 2/13/26…read more We had an OpenTable reservation, and our group traveled to Bloomington (from Carmel) for a play. We tried calling several times throughout the day to notify FARM that we needed to change the reservation because two of our guests were ill and would not be able to join. The restaurant's phone just kept forwarding to voicemail. We arrived at our reservation time and were told that we would be charged via OpenTable for the guests who did not join. When I mentioned the phone issue, the hostess said that it did not matter if we had called today, because the cancellation policy is 24 hours in advance. I did not know they would be ill 24 hours prior to the reservation - but whatever. I was not happy, but did not argue the issue. We were seated, only to find that there was a prefix "Valentine's Day Menu". We thought that was interesting because we had researched the website & menu before the evening, and there was no mention of this menu being the only option for Friday (2/13) night. Even the menu PDF says "Valentine's Day" - there were signs throughout the restaurant noting "Valentine's Day Menu". The server also mentioned that many other patrons were upset. The items on the menu were also priced far higher than the regular menu. So, we were excited to try FARM, arrived to a very sassy attitude (from the host) about the party size, noting that I was going to be charged. Getting to the table to see a modified menu, whose prices were jacked up. The (very sweet) server validated our feelings and confirmed that other patrons were upset, too. We finally just decided to leave. On the way out, the "sassy" host was snarky and mentioned that we would likely be charged again for the remaining guests leaving and not eating. I have pictures of the signs, and screenshots of the website - and I dare FARM to charge me for their false advertising. At least note the website, signage, and OpenTable if you are following modified menus or processes, and train your team better!! We were thrilled to try FARM, and left saying that we would NEVER go back. So disappointed :(

I did not get a smile from a single hostess or waitress. While the decor is a vibe, the seating is uncomfortable and close. Our son was constantly having to move his chair just so the waiters could get by. Our family enjoyed the garlic fries appetizer. I ordered the breakfast poutine and it was a soggy mess. I concur with other reviews that the menu lacks diversity. Perhaps their evening menu is more appealing. Overall, we were very disappointed.

In this case, a couple of buddies and I met for dinner and drinks. It's a shame Kirkwood isn't closed to cars completely, as the space was limited and there were kids on motorcycles driving up and down the road. Other than that, another great experience. As usual I ordered the Stromboli with no pickles. Word to first timers, when they say pickles they mean a LOT of pickles and the juice will run into the bread. So if that's not your thing, tell them to put them on a separate plate far far away or simply skip them. The strom at Nick's is, without a doubt, the single best sandwich in Bloomington. I ordered a side of fried mushrooms with mine, which are admittedly overpriced but also delish. Friends ordered a breaded tenderloin with fries and a burger with onion rings. Both enjoyed their meals, but other than the onion rings those wouldn't be anywhere the top of my list for a Nick's visit. The rings are fantastic, but I just love the pizza, stroms, Italian beef and some other things before I'd go the more traditional tenderloin or burger route. The place is a landmark in Bloomington with great food, great service and is a great place to hang out, have a great meal and a few beers and enjoy the night.

Still wouldn't do anything and said even if we called the cops to validate the ID he wouldn't accept it as valid. Need the "Real ID" to get on an airplane to get here. But this guy apparently knows something everyone else doesn't. Hmmmm. Crazy.

What really sets Malibu apart, though, is the people. Owner JB (John Bailey) has created something special here, and it shows in every detail. The staff is consistently excellent, and Tyler at the bar is one of our favorites--always welcoming and on point. Great food, great atmosphere, and genuinely great people. Other guests were frustrated with the poor planning and left, but we stuck it out because the weather was bad and, well, we figured a reservation should actually mean something. I would rather go somewhere else. We won't be back.
